Art Basel is so 2011, plus you can neither afford nor understand the art, not to mention snag an invite to the swankiest, most party crasher impenetrable private parties. Christmas? That started the day after Halloween, so that leaves us with, well, New Year's Eve. Yep, plans are already for the "Orange Drive Miami Beach Music Festival," taking place December 30 through January 1 between 7th and 9th Streets and Ocean Drive and featuring performances by Cee Lo Green, Ne-Yo, Boyz II Men, Jermaine Dupri, and Pete Wentz, along with DJs Samantha Ronson and Irie in a "lavish and state of the art amphitheater will be constructed and placed on the sand which can hold up to 30,000 party goers each night." Yikes. For ticket information, go to www.orangedr.com or follow them on Twitter @OrangeDriveFest.

Twilight star back to South Beach for New Year's Eve hosting duties
We reported the opening of Klutch, a new club in the space formerly known as Opium several months ago, but in typical South Beach fashion, the club, a joint venture between the partners at SMAC Entertainment, isn't opening until now. And it's opening with a few big bangs including a New Year's Eve party presented by gossip website JustJared.com and hosted by Twilight's Kellan Lutz and Attack of the Show! hostess and Iron Man 2's Olivia Munn. Beginning Tuesday, December 29, the club will feature performances by Boys Like Girls, Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester, Hey Monday, Kid Sister and Steel Panther. We're told about 15 to 20 other celebs are flying in for these festivities. Stay tuned on that one. Tickets for all nights ($200 for NYE including open bar and $40 for other nights) are available at www.newyears.com.
