Estranged couple Luis Fonsi and Adamari Lopez's awkward Miami encounter

After a scandalous separation sparked by all sorts of cheating allegations, Latin Grammy-Award winning singer Luis Fonsi and his estranged wife, actress Adamari Lopez had an awkward encounter earlier this week at Mercadito in Midtown, where the two were both spotted celebrating a mutual friend's birthday. According to our source, the whole thing was civil, but the two in the same room only brought up inevitable, uncomfortable comparisons to Sandra Bullock and Jesse James. Says our source "They did exchange some words as you normally would in a group of people, but the group was kind of in and out of the restaurant and Luis didn't exactly sit for a long period of time." Ah, the antsy awkwardness of it all.  Apparently Lopez, in remission from breast cancer, was living in Mexico while she was filming a soap opera and Fonsi was living here in Miami where he may have strayed from the marriage. Says an insider "No one ever expected him to be unfaithful since he’s always been known to adore her."

Dwyane Wade's ex sues galpal Gabrielle Union for "emotional distress"

It feels like decades ago when we outed Miami Heat's golden child Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union after a little rendez vous at the Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne. Since then, Wade and Union have never officially admitted they were an item, but actions spoke louder than words. Proving that point is Wade's ex wife Siohvaughn Wade, who has just filed a lawsuit against Union for inappropriate conduct around the estranged couple's young children. According to the Chicago Sun Times, the ex Mrs. Wade "claims Gabrielle Union 'engaged in sexual foreplay with Dwyane Wade' in front of Wade's 8-year-old and 2-year-old sons while on an unsupervised visitation to the basketball star's Miami home." The lawsuit, which was filed Tuesday in Cook County Circuit Court, also claims that Wade's oldest son was "allowed to play unsupervised in or around the Miami home's pool at night. Wade and Union ignored the boy, whose 'screams and cries' eventually got the attention of Wade's mother, Jolinda Wade, who took the boy inside." The lawsuit goes into other claims, all involving the safety or lack thereof of their children. Ex Mrs. Wade is seeking more than $50,000 from Union, but we have a feeling it has nothing whatsoever to do with the money.

Audi Super Bowl soiree delivers big on celebs, shows signs of Twivalry between Twilight stars Kellan Lutz and Taylor Lautner

The Audi Super Bowl party in the penthouse of the W South Beach Saturday was interesting on so many levels. Just when it looked like it was going to be a parade of prostitutes and spare parts, Hilary Swank, of all people, walked in, hand in hand with boyfriend and former agent John Campisi. Not exactly breaking news, especially considering the duo were polite as can be, saddling up to the bar to order some cocktails. But then Swank's ex brother in law Rob Lowe walked in with his two young sons and in 0 to 60, Audi started accelerating. As Swank hung on tight to her man, Lowe exchanged pleasantries with Private Practice star Kate Walsh, telling her he just came from "Joe's Crab," to which Walsh replied, "Ooooh, Joe's!" in regards to Miami Beach landmark Joe's Stone Crab.

And just when you thought the party was stuck in cruise control with cool, calm, collected celebs and Swank and Lowe staying at opposite ends of the penthouse, in walks Twilight heartthrob Kellan Lutz, sporting a shirt, tie and short curly hair. Lutz was also pretty pleasant, surrounded by a man and a woman whose sole purpose, according to our source, was to get "Lutz laid." That said, Lutz's on-again, off-again girlfriend AnnaLynne McCord, was said to be en route to Miami for a Saturday arrival. And because this wasn't a free-for-all mob scene of a party like, say ESPN over at the Fontainebleau, Lutz wasn't mobbed by fans, stalkers or even his fellow celebs. He was just, like, there. So were a few football players marveling at the eye candy.

All was well at this classy celebrity cocktail confab until Twilight's second in command it boy (Rob Pattinson being chief) Taylor Lautner walked in, brushed by us, followed by his own entourage of handlers. Those of us expecting a big Twilight high five were disappointed when, within not even five minutes, Lautner's handlers repositioned their tweeny client towards the door. All of a sudden, Lautner was gone! Just like that! No hand shake, no high five, no hello happened between Lutz and Lautner, and thanks to our keen hearing, now we know why. 

Apparently Lautner's people think their client is so elevated in the celebrity stratosphere, and he may very well be, that they do not want him anywhere near Lutz. So with that, Lautner was gone, Lutz went onto the balcony and in walked Jessica Alba and Lance Bass who, like everyone else, were pleasant enough, but not nearly as titillating as the Twivalry we witnessed a few minutes earlier.  Big props to Audi for delivering on their promises of a delightfully random assemblage of quality celebrities (and unexpected drama and tension) this Super Bowl weekend so desperately needed.

Britney Spears brings home the bacon while K-Fed just eats it

While Britney Spears made gazillions last night during round two of her Circus at the American Airlines Arena, her bloated ex hubby Kevin Federline, in town presumably to watch his kids while mommy worked it, was busy making the Miami rounds, partying like a rock star at BED on Monday night. On Tuesday night, Over-Fed was seen with girlfriend Victoria Prince at Louis Bar Lounge, sipping on vodka and soda and hanging out with Kourtney Kardashian's baby daddy, Scott Disick. What a perfect boys' night out. The only thing missing were some fried oreos and Jon Gosselin.

With Lindsay Lohan on her arm, why does Samantha Ronson look so mad?

Samantha Ronson left her DJing duties at Karu & Y last night to chill at her half-brother, Roman Jones’s new electro lounge, Louis Bar-Lounge with galpal Lindsay Lohan. The girls arrived arm in arm and sat at a cozy corner table chatting with Roman and Chris Jones . The pin-thin Lohan sipped on SoBe Lifewater and Ronson complimented Louis’s “authentic downtown vibe.” The girls relaxed for more than an hour, and said they were happy to be ringing in the New Year with family and Roman Jones’s other club, Mansion, for the SoBe Lifewater New Years bash. But then why does Ronson look so mad?

Pamela Anderson LIVing for ex beau Stephen Dorff

At the Ocean Drive party at the Fontainebleau's LIV for Pamela Anderson last night, Anderson seen making out with ex beau Stephen Dorff in one of the club's sky boxes. Also seen in the crowd: Gloria and Emilio Estefan and Fran Drescher. The party was hot until 4 am, when the fire marshalls came, turned on the lights and exposed just how good everyone looks at that dreadful hour of the morning.

On Friday night at the Tory Burch CD party: Beyonce, Jay Z, Paris and Nicky Hilton, and Lenny Kravitz, first at Blade and then, after being ushered through the kitchen, at LIV, where Estelle performed.

A LiLo-SamRo New Year's Eve at Mansion

Excited that Lindsay Lohan is hosting Mansion's New Year's Eve party while galpal Samantha Ronson spins? We hear the duo was offered many lucrative deals around the world, including several in Las Vegas, but Ronson put her foot down, insisting the couple spend New Year's together in Miami at her step brother Roman Jones's club.

Tila Tequila and girlfriend Courtenay Semel celebrated the internet virus's 27th birthday at Karu & Y Saturday night. The couple arrived at 1 a.m and partied until the club closed down at 5. Appropriately enough, according to a source, the two were downing shots of Patron every half hour and sipping on champagne in between.  Unable to keep their hands off each other, both made sure to not let a moment go by without holding hands, grabbing butts or laying on top of each other on the VIP couches. And sorry Lindsay Lohan, your ex special friend Semel might beat you and Samantha Ronson to the altar.  At one point in the night, Tila picked up the microphone to introduce the DJ and proceeded to also scream out to the crowd, "I am having so much fun right now. Everyone take your clothes off," and finished by saying "I'm going to ask Courtenay to marry me tonight!"

Y'All Called It: Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer Are Kaput

We broke the story of Jennifer Aniston diddling around with John Mayer many months ago when the two were spotted together at Michael's Genuine Food & Drink. And now the cycle is broken. According to People Mag, the couple is no more, despite all the tabloids' screaming headlines that Aniston was ready to have Mayer's big headed baby. Frankly, if it's true, it lasted longer than we expected. Speaking of big stories that died fast--how  bout that Madonna/A-Rod nonsense? Much ado about nothing, just like AniMayer, we guess.

Lohan/Ronson: Over Already?

We're hearing some buzz that Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson didn't  have such a romantic trip to South Beach. Word on the streets is that there is, indeed, trouble between the two and that their visit here was hardly pleasant.  Sounds like splitsville is in the cards for them. Stay tuned.
