Finally, some positive news about Britney Spears. The singer stopped by Miami Children's Hospital today thanks to pediatric radiologist Ricardo Restrepo and Director of Media for Southern Wine and Spirits America, Lee Schrager, who arranged for the surprise visit with sick kids. The two are close friends with someone involved with Spears's tour and suggested she visit the hospital, which is one of 19 in the country offering the Big Apple Circus Clown Care program, a community outreach program that brings the joys of the circus to hospitalized children at 19 leading pediatric facilities across the United States. "Because of the clown theme of her tour, I assumed her visit would be a natural tie in for a hospital with clowns," Schrager says. "From there it all happened quick, and the next thing we know, we got the call saying Britney Spears was coming to the hospital and donating $100,000 to the Big Apple Circus Clown Care Program." And now, onto the real circus at the American Airlines Arena where we are sure the hair extensions not seen this afternoon are firmly, we hope, in place.

Every thorn has its rose
Bret Michaels and the cast of his VH-1 reality show Rock of Love were at The Chesterfield Hotel & Suites last week, shooting the "final three" show. According to our snitch, "The hot young babes, after a long day of filming, partied it up at the hotel's lobby lounge." The hotel apparently kept the party going one night--er, morning, until 5 a.m. as the hopefuls "Continued to down shot after shot until they had to be escorted to their rooms to wake up for an 8 a.m. call time." Shortly after, our spies tell us that Michaels was seen swinging by the hotel for some extra one-and-one only time with one of his favorites. Nothing but a good time, we're sure.

BED-time for Brooke Hogan
Brooke Hogan was at B.E.D. last night filming the fifth (!) season of Hogan Knows Best. Hogan is currently living with best friend Amber Ridinger at her family’s estate while riding out her parents’ very public divorce. She'll soon move to her own place at Mosaic on Miami Beach. Hogan and two friends hung out until around 12:30 a.m. before the Monday night crowd strolled, supposedly in order to get home in time for curfew. Yeah, right. Later in the evening, music producer and Miami Beach resident, Scott Storch stopped by to visit with friend and co-owner of B.E.D. Lee Lyon. The pair set up shop at one of the club’s VIP beds with a crowd of golddiggers rocket scientists women while enjoying a fashion show by Ducati.

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
All was calm for Ashlee Simpson and boyfriend Pete Wentz this weekend. According to those who weren't in the pool at The Shore Club on New Year's Eve, the duo got up on stage, made out at midnight, watched Eve perform and then left and wentz to bed. Then they shopped for more eyeliner on South Beach. Pretty normal, considering.

Celebs Hit Mokai On New Year's Day
Dylan McDermott and Jason Statham were spotted at Mokai last night, which seemed to be the place to be after The Florida Room's first foray into 08. After hitting The Florida Room, DJ AM also showed up at Mokai, where he spun a half hour set--for free. How generous! The Wayans brothers were also there, sipping from a bottle of Belvedere, and seen hanging at the owners' table, Cee-Lo of Gnarls Barkley fame.

Spotted at Loren Ridinger's Vogue Mag/Alberta Ferretti fashion show party Saturday night: Brooke Hogan, who arrived in one dress and left the party every half hour for a wardrobe change. As soon as she returned to the party each time, she'd repose for all the cameras as if she had just arrived.

Toro, Toro! (And Teens at The Forge)
Benicio Del Toro was at Rokbar last night with Mickey Rourke. Says one snoop, "The two arrived and made a b-line for the bar, where they began a night of debauchery with shots of tequila." Del Toro then downed some Jack and Cokes while Rourke opted for beer. "They were seen with some of the scantily clad Rokbar waitresses, dancing until four in the morning," says the snoop.
Meanwhile, on the other side of town, Brooke Hogan at The Forge, dancing her family strife away with teenage best friend Amber Ridinger. "The two jumped on stage with DJ Irie and danced along with the crowd." Ridinger is, like, 15. Shouldn't she be home playing with Bratz dolls?

Where Do You Go When Your Parents Split? To the Delano!
In the wake of her parents' divorce news, Brooke Hogan, sporting black pants, a cropped black top with stomach peeking out, sunglasses on her head and, "way too much makeup," says our spy, partied at the Delano Tuesday night. Timbaland was also there and gave Hogan a head tilt wave goodbye as he walked out. "They didnt actually speak but they were definitely familiar," says the spy. More amusing than that was the fact that Hogan was actually stopped by a so called fan who was excited to meet her!

Ashlee Wentz to Cameo Where Pete Gave Travis McCoy A Real Good Lickin'
Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz hit Cameo last night for a Belvedere Vodka party. Wentz took over the DJ booth and dedicated two songs to Simpson---one was a Jay-Z song and the other was something less memorable. Moments later the romantic mood took a different turn when Wentz, uh, licked the face of fellow rocker Travis McCoy of Gym Class Heroes. Silly boys.
