Just sold to a company (the ambiguous MF Penthouse 3 LLC) for $5.2 million: New York Knicks player Amar'e Stoudemire's penthouse at the W South Beach. Miami Beach attorney/entrepreneur Matthew Krieger of Bratter Krieger LLP represented Stoudemire in the sale and broker Dave Marotta of Carefree Properties was the listing agent. Our sources tell us Stoudemire was planning to plunk down $10 million on an even grander Miami pad had the Miami Heat signed him. With that NBA lockout in effect, not to mention the abysmal economic situation, we won't exactly cry for him, but we guess he's better off.

No wonder Jamie Foxx always grabs the microphones
Jamie Foxx grabbing microphones in clubs is as common a site as a Kardashian at the opening of an envelope. But now at least we know the reason for his compulsion. You see, Foxx was at the Viceroy's Club 50 on New Year's Eve with 20 of his closest friends. No biggie, we know. But Foxx does know how to get a party started, encouraging the crowd to dance to the music spun by former model turned DJ Sky Nellor. He even performed an impromptu, choreographed dance routine with two of his pals. Unfortunately, however, when Foxx asked Nellor to play his songs, she didn't have any. Nada. Not a one. Foxx was so determined to hear his own pre-recorded voice that, according to our snitch, "He was trying to find them online to download--without luck apparently!" Suddenly the mic-napping all makes sense now, doesn't it?

Lady Gaga wants Fontainebleau revelers to have pizza face
Just last month, Lady Gaga treated loyal fans who waited outside an LA Best Buy for hours to buy signed copies of her album The Fame Monster to $1,000 worth of Papa John's pizza. And now it seems that the wacky pop star has made a similar request for fans flocking to her New Year's Eve party at the Fontainebleau. Apparently, however, Gaga has no brand loyalty, requesting Domino's pizza for the partiers this time in lieu of Papa John's. No word yet on the tab, as the party planners are currently scrambling to make sure they get their orders in on time, but we smell an endorsement deal. Really, it's a no brainer, it writes itself, and we can hear it now: "I'm your biggest fan, I'll follow you until you love me, Papa-Papa Johnny's." Or: "I'm your biggest fan, I'll follow you until you love me, Pepper, pepperoni." Like the Lady herself, it can go either way.

Tribeca Film Fest documentary outs Governor Charlie Crist
As reported by our pals at Rakontur (Cocaine Cowboys, Clubland), a documentary premiering tomorrow night at the Tribeca Film Festival officially outs our very own governor, Charlie Crist. The movie, "Outrage," profiles recently outed politicos including former New Jersey governor Jim McGreevey and bathroom tap dancer Senator Larry Craig, but for those who have long debated the heterosexuality of Gov. Crist, this movie drops a major bombshell and director Kirby Dick has no regrets, telling indieWIRE "I think that if someone is in the clsoet and voting against gay rights then that's hypocrisy and that's cause for outing."

Celebs playing for pay in Miami Beach on New Year's
Celebs work hard on New Year's' Eve. Just ask Lindsay Lohan after she "hosts" Mansion. We're sure she will be exhausted afterwards. It's a rough, rough life. Anyway, over at the Fontainebleau on December 31, Maroon Five frontman and self professed man whore Adam Levine will perform live poolside. Tickets for that party are $225 and include open bar and what seems to now be a ubiquitous New Year's party schitck--fireworks. Over at LIV at the Fontainebleau, Diddy will host while those who pay the $300 general admission fee will get to sip on, you guessed it, Ciroc vodka martinis garnished with 24 karat gold edible shavings. You may want to scrape those up and cash it in at a pawn shop afterwards to recoup your investment. Tickets are available at www.newyears.com
Over at the Gansevoort South, actress Chloe Sevigny hosts, with TI performing. Strange bedfellows indeed. In addition, Wilhelmina models have been hired to mingle with theaverage folks who will cough up the $225 general admission price which includes open bar from 9 p.m. until 4 a.m. as well as mini burgers from the yet-to-open STK. Dress code: "Miami Vice Chic." For tickets, call 305-604-6575.
