Not exactly a new thing, but nonetheless grotesque, some enterprising folks are offering uninvited VIP admission to Art Basel parties to those desperate enough willing to pay the price. They do this at the Academy Awards, too, apparently. But Art Basel, Oscar you are not. We received an email sent to a very reliable source by someone selling entry to Art Basel parties saying, [sic] "Here are some Art Basel access I can have. " And this access does not come cheap. We're sure the party planners will feign surprise and deny any knowledge of this. In fact, organizers of the UNTITLED fair contacted us and said  "The UNTITLED. events mentioned in the article are by invitation only and there is no ticketing for these events."

And don't ask, because we will not provide the contact information to this or any person selling 'access' to parties because, well, if you have to ask how much, you shouldn't be there in the first place.
