There are culture vultures and there are vampires. And then there are blood sucking culture vultures. And all will be present next Monday night for the unveiling of the brand new Audi A8 which has conveniently partnered up with a major art exhibition to bring you the Audi A8: The Art of Progress, curated by British design star Tom Dixon and the Rubell Family Collection and housed in the Audi Pavilion on 46th and Collins. The public can check it all out on December 2 and after the Pavilion is removed, a playground donated by Audi will be built on the site. But enough about art. Hosted by Lucy Liu, the event will start with cocktails on the Fontainebleau lawn followed by a show and reveal, culminating with a six course dinner by David Bouley at the Audi Pavilion. On the guest list: Ben McKenzie,Chris Noth, Christina Ricci and Kellan Lutz, who apparently is a huge Audi fan. Which means that zillions of screaming, hormonally challenged teens will also now be huge Audi fans. Genius.
