When it comes to television shows, the one thing that really matters are the ratings. And in Miami Social's case, the show was like the runty kid in grade school getting bullied, big time. Apparently the show drew a meager 648,000 viewers on its debut night, coming in a monstrous 57 percent lower than Real Housewives of New Jersey in the same slot. Pretty abysmal, actually. To put it into perspective, the biggest ratings Tuesday night were for Fox's MLB All-Star Game and All Star Pre Game, drawing 14.6 and 11.2 million viewers. America's Got Talent came in second with 13.5 million. But, in fairness, as one reader pointed out, you can't compare cable to network. So therefore, we give you the cable ratings for that night: Syfy's new drama Warehouse 13 delivered 3.4 million viewers; Discovery Channel's Deadliest Catch, the top rated cable show of the night, garnered 3.6 million viewers; and TNT's Hawthorne had 3.2 million viewers. Enough said. Even the Syfy geeks were cooler than the Social-lites. Yikes! There are only five episodes left of Social, so at least it won't be as torturous for them as enduring an entire school year being beaten up by members of the biology club.

You can't compare network to cable, Les.

wow, who knew that people would not be interested in boring, self-centered, self-important air bags with nothing to offer society but showing up?

That show was ridiculous. I know they were all trying hard to be as fabulous as possible but it was so damn bad it was painful. Ari pretending he was so cool (and straight) and Micheal talking about how everyone asks him out (yeah right). George staging fights with his "girlfriend" the whole thing was disgusting.
THose people are all in there 30s if not older and acting like freshman in high school. They should be ashamed of themselves.
