Britney Spears is en route to Miami, where she will bring the Circus--as in her tour--to the American Airlines Arena on Saturday despite reports of abysmal ticket sales. Also in town this weekend and it peeves us to even write about it: Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson, who are doing a make good on their inexcusable no show to the Valentine's Day party at Passions Nightclub at the Seminole Hard Rock Saturday night. We hear that Spears will absolutely be on the straight and narrow, flying in and out of Miami just for the show. As for the other two, who cares?

I've seen clips of Britney's concert last night in New Orleans and as much as I'm rooting for her I wasnt impressed. She just seems to be going through the motions. She's lost that spark she had.

reports were that people are afraid to cough up a zillion dollars to see someone who hasn't proven her worth lately....

Lesley, do you think she's doing this more for her conservator(oops I meant father!) and/or manager? I get the feeling they encouraged her to do this album and tour so quickly to keep her busy and out of trouble?

Oh, c'mon. Britney's proving that she's found and tapped into some of It once again and she's doing it.
She's so pulling it together, so snap snap for that. She may not have pulled herself together just yet (for all y'all's taste), but she's a work in progress.
And to those waiting for the old Britney, sit comfortably: The machine of years past has been replaced by someone who clearly went through something. Of course, she won't sparkle like she did.
