Forget "In the club": Hip hoppers should be singing about being "On the stump"
Last night American Idol's Ryan Seacrest and Randy Jackson, who seem to be spending lots of time down here lately, stopped by the Hennessy Artistry Miami concert at The Fifth to see their good pals Ne-Yo and Fat Joe perform. According to our source, Seacrest and Jackson willingly posed for pix outside but refused to do so near the Hennessy backdrop, with Jackson harping, "Only Coca-Cola, dawg." Inside, Ne-Yo and Fat Joe settled their standoff in a dark corner with a security guard from each of their camps standing nearby in case talks broke down a la the bailout. "They hugged it out in the end," says our spy. And of course, no event these days is complete without a political message and Fat Joe took care of that, saying "Straight Obama! If you're voting for Obama make some noise. John McCain is so old, he can't do this," as he took the mic to perform his classic hit, Lean Back. Party on the stump!
