What bad timing for actress Michelle Rodriguez to get into a lover's spat at the Mayfair Hotel on the same weekend that its rooftop lounge Cabana One opened and, coincidentally or not, a writer for Daily News gossip column Rush & Molloy happened to be staying there as well. According to R&M, Rodriguez had a major hissy fit on Sunday morning, waking up hotel guests including the journalist, by banging on her hotel door and screaming at her gal pal. Our source confirms this story as well. A disturbed guest at the hotel said, "I woke up Sunday morning to the sounds of two women yelling, and one of them was smashing the door knocker very loudly. I peeked out and saw it was [Rodriguez]. She's screaming, 'Open up, let me in, b*tch!' If you don't open up, you're not getting your [sex toy] back."The Grove hasn't seen--or heard--that much excitement since OJ Simpson filmed a porno there.
