Last time Ben Affleck was down here for politics, it was for the big Al Gore rally on South Beach in 2000. And we know how that turned out. This year, Affleck and wife Jennifer Garner are joining their BFFs Matt and Luciana Damon in the name of Barack Obama. The couples are the special celebrity

I'd LOVE to know what you think MY political leanings are..And I bet you'd be wrong!

You are pointing out the Facts by letting us know what happened in 2000, & you probably are on the Left but are tired of seeing celebs get involved where they don't need to be.

I'm tired of people saying celebs shouldn't be involved in politics. Why not? They're citizens, too. If they didn't do anything there'd be hell to pay. Worse, if they voiced stupid opinions à la Brooke Hogan, we'd have a laugh, but what a scary thing to find funny that'd be, right?
I think it's great the Afflecks and the Damons are hosting the Generation Obama event. It lets everybody in on the action. Sure - the media is going to report on what they wore and how much they canoodled instead of the important aspects of the event, but their presence opens up the door to a political scrutiny that I find lacking in society.
Host away, Ben & Matt, Jen & Lu. People who have a problem with it probably won't/cant' get a ticket to come. If they did, they'd be foaming at the mouth and telling you how much they loved All the Pretty Horses and Elektra.

The image of ben afffleck on the corner of one of john kerry's caimpain in 2004 was so pathetic that I can't wait for two (Pathetic figures), one in each side of obama's. If they think Bush was stubborn and hard headed; wait and see if obama hussein wins how arrogant and stuborn he is.
