While Alonzo Mourning and wife Tracy were busy having a romantic dinner a deux at Nobu Friday night, a few tables away, giggling like a sorority girl was none other than Anna Kournikova, in a black mini dress and animal print Christian Louboutins (which we think she bought in Neiman Marcus Bal Harbour a month or so ago when our spy sat next to her and admired her sizeable soles). Kournikova was with girlfriends and a body guard.

not sure to be honest!

Well I guess nobody can be sure about that... As a fan for more than 7 years... I know that on November 13th 2001 Anna was seen with Sergei... She was in a Detroit Red Wings game, watching with a friend... When Sergei made a goal, she was really excited about that... That was the last time I heard of Anna with Sergei... A month latter, December 21, that's when she filmed the 'Escape' video with Enrique and that's when they met... Early 2002, end of January and beginning of February rumors that Anna and Enrique were together begun... And unfortunately the rumors turned out to be true! I liked Sergei better!! No doubts about that!
BTW, lately Anna is going out a lot... Nice to know... And Enrique is traveling all the time... I see no bright future for them... I guess sooner or latter, they will break-up for good!

i was kind of wondering how enrique's new album been doing.

I heard it's not selling well... The video from his single "Somebody's Me" barely made it to the TRL... It was on the countdown twice and then no more...

Enrique's single "Somebody's Me" is #21 on the Adult Contemporary Billboard Chart and No. 16 on the Latin Chart. His album is selling very well all over the world. The U.S. is not the only place to sell records, you know - his song "Do you Know" has been on the top of all the charts in Europe. His concerts in South Africa this week were sold out - 25,000 people in attendance at the concert in Johannesburg. So don't knock Enrique if you don't know all the facts. Anna is the one who's the loser - what does she ever do but flaunt her boobs around Miami? She's a pathetic has-been - looking for her next rich victim to latch onto. Dump her, Enrique - she's yesterday's news!

It's incredible that whenever you say ANYTHING about Enrique, a fan has to defend him... HUAHUAHUAHUA...
Well, Did he do good in TRL? NO! I just stated a fact... And well, come on, "Do you know" didn't suck that much, but you can't say it was a hit... Here where I live people think Enrique is retired... Nobody know he has a CD out... kkkkkkkkkkkkkkk... But well, you think his CD is doing great... You see what your eyes what to see... BTW, I've read somewhere about the selling of his CD worldwide and here in Brazil there are artist who aren't even know outside the country and their CD sell a lot BETTER just here!
And If you don't like Anna why bother reading news about her anyway? Call her a loser, but she can only "flaunt her boobs around Miami" because when she was a kid she spent 8 hours a day training... For the ones who don't know tennis, being 8th in the world is failure, but it's SO hard to become a professional and succeed... She had no famous dad to make her career on that and also she was REALLY poor and she worked hard, so today she can enjoy life...
And hum... Will be great If she in fact finds a new boyfriend in Miami... Anyone would be better than a boyfriend who's never there...

Hello Grid Kournikova - it's easy to spot you. You say us Enrique fans defend him. Of course we do. The same way you defend Anna every chance you get! Always the same from you. "She was so poor and she worked so hard and she has it so rough." Whatever, Grid! Enrique didn't use his famous father to get where he is today, but then you don't bother with the facts, do you? You just trash him. And I do know a lot about tennis and being No. 8 for 20 seconds isn't all that impressive. It's not like Anna stayed No. 8 or ever got any higher. She quickly fell back from that ranking. But we can argue about this all day - same as you argue this point endlessly on Enrique's website. As for why I keep an eye on news on Anna - well, I'd love to see her with a new boyfriend too. It can't be soon enough. I can't wait for Enrique to be free of this loser.

FYI, Anna was 8th in the world for several months and the reason why she lost her position was an injury in her foot... She had to spend 8 months away from the court and when she came back, she kept on having other injuries and stuff... There's a Brazilian player called Guga, he was one in the world, after injuries he never returned to what he was, he tried for years and he wouldn't get any results, that's how athletes life's are... One day things are ok, the next day you get an injury that finishes your career... The problem with Anna is that she couldn't prove herself that much before the injuries... She was just 19 when the foot injury happened...
Anyway, in one thing we agree... Anna and Enrique should definitely be over soon! I heard some rumors about them having a serious argument at a restaurant called Bongo's Cuban Cafe in Miami before he headed to his concert tour....

Oh, please - cry me a river! The reason Anna never amounted to anything else was because she was distracted by all the attention from people thinking she was 'so hot.' She loves the cameras and the glamour and didn't fell like sweating and working hard anymore. Trust is that Anna's infamous 'back injury' was a big fat lie. She just wanted to follow Enrique around like a lovesick puppy. So she gave up on tennis and became a human Barbie doll. Whatever - the girl's a loser who never lived up to her potential. Everyone knows it.

anna and enrique's have gone down for 5 yrs now therefore they needed each other to stay in the limelight.
Posted by: isabela | October 28, 2007 at 02:08 PM
Well, you see it as you want... I saw a number one player being out of the 100 best players because of injuries... If you believe that Anna stopped playing because she wanted to, that's ok! I've read an interview with her first coach, and she said she was heart broken when Anna told her in tears that: "God didn't want me to play"
Anyway, you say Anna is a loser, and so is Enrique... If being 8th in the world iss being a loser, what about "Somebody's me?" what was it highest position at billboard chart? And the whole album in general? It sold less than 50,000 copies in the first week... If you think Anna is a loser, than they're a couple of losers...
And well Isabela, I think that If Anna wanted attention she'd try to find a new boyfriend... Enrique ain't that famous anymore... So isn't Anna... But well, If she wanted to stay in limelight, being with Enrique isn't the best option! I believe that Anna loves him, I just don't think that Enrique feels the same...
