We just received the official Miami Vice East Coast Premiere Inviation. Here's the deal:
Premiere is at Lincoln Theatre on Tuesday, July 25 at 6pm
It's a benefit hosted by Emilio Estefan, Mel Dick and Mark Soloway, MD. Proceeds go to CURED, Center for Urologic Research, Education and Diseases.
Red Carpet arrival begins at the theatre, 541 Lincoln Road, at 6pm. A Perrier Jouet champagne reception will preceed the screening.
At 7:30, the movie goes on with "welcoming remarks by Michael Mann" and a special performance by the New World Symphony--after all, this shinding is taking place in their theater.
Cost for all the aforementioned: $250 per person. Does not include the after party at Mansion, which is at 9pm, and will feature "special live guest performances, open bar and food," for $500. Again, proceeds go to the charity.
No word on who, exactly, will be there--ie. the film's stars Jamie Foxx and Colin Farrell, but we would think they could schlep back down here for a night or two.
