Ice Hot?

So Vanilla Ice is doing Pawn Shop for New Year's Eve. But who knew that Ice, aka Robbie Van Winkle, had some friends in very high rise places? It seems that when development company The Related Group rented out the Pawn Shop for their holiday party the other night, Related's version of Trump, Jorge Perez, saw a poster saying Ice was performing live on New Year's. Word got back to Ice because he's apparently friends with Perez, who faxed him the poster, and Pawn Shop got a call from Ice's manager--yes, he has one in Plano, Texas, who said to take the posters down because while Ice is going to hit the DJ booth to rock out to his one hit Ice, Ice, Baby, he will not at all be singing. And that would be fraudulent. Kind of like his career, huh?
