G3: Heat 104, Bulls 94. Miami in control as Bosh and Cole -- that's right, Bosh and Cole! -- spark road triumph; plus 'Good Effort' kid, Dolphins missteps & more

1) It is SATURDAY, MAY 11. In The Previous Blogpost (ITPB): A jam-packed thrill ride! Heat win Game 2, Middle-Finger Lady, D-Wade's wardrobe, Lil Wayne runs with Bulls, Dolphins threats, Charles Ramsey's 'Dead Giveaway,' Sad-O-Meter. 2) Look for Marlins Sad-O-Meter update in the blog on Saturday. 3) Join us on Twitter @agregcote.

Click on When Push Comes To Shove for my column from Chicago off last night's Heat Game 3 victory.

1aa1chickenLive from Chicago: Checked into my hotel about two miles from the arena. Dreary day in Chitown, misting rain. Fortunately, they tell me this evening's game was to be played indoors. A bit of Harold's Chicken Shack for lunch, perhaps?

G3: HEAT 104, BULLS 94: MIAMI TAKES COMMAND OF SERIES WITH HUGE ROAD WIN (Heat leads 2-1; G4 Monday night in Chicago): Here's what is most impressive to me. LeBron James shoots 6-for-17, Dwyane Wade scores a mere 10 points and yet Miami wins by double digits on the road. Yes, Chicago is depleted, still m issing three key players. Admire their fight. But also admire the Heat's fight, and resourcefulness. Chris Bosh steps up big with 20 points and 19 rebounds, and a clucth Norris Cole was just as big with 18 off the bench. Huge, huge win. Watch for my column off tonight's Game 3 win posting online soon ..... Original post: I don't know how this playoff battle 1aa1bullsheatcan get any more volatile than it was in Miami's series-evening Game 2 win here Wednesday, but no doubt the Chicago crowd will do its 1aa1g3part to amp up the intensity even more tonight. Should Derrick Rose actually play, as is rumored, the roof is liable to blow clear off the arena. I'll be at the game columnizing, and happily, as Chicago is a great city and this should be a great game, an event. Winner gets to feel it is in control; loser gets to feel genuine pressure. Bulls should be back closer to full strength, but if Miami shoots and defends as well as it did in Game 2, the Heat will not be beaten. Have a feeling the crowd will feed the Heat as much as it does the homies. Miami plays well angry. Booing in a hostile arena, that's nourishment.

EXCLUSIVE!: RETURN OF THE "GOOD JOB GOOD EFFORT" KID: You may remember Jack Meyer, the 9-year-old from Coral Gables who flared as a media sensation and Heat good-luck charm during the 1aa1jackm2012 playoffs with a YouTube video (click here) that caught Jack (pictured right) consoling dispirited Heat players with, "Good job! Good effort!" after a home playoff loss to Boston. Well, Jack's back, now 10, and in the news 1aa1juliadagain after Chicago's WGN radio phoned him this week to make a friendly bet. The bet: If Miami won Game 2, Jack would get 10 Chicago-style hot dogs. If Chicago won, WGN's Jon Brandmeier would get Jack's dad's 2013 Cadillac STS. Hmm. Either that was a bad bet, or Jack was that confident. Now they've got a double-or-nothing bet on Game 3: Jack gets 20 hot dogs and a deep-dish pizza, or the radio guy gets any car he wants from Jack's uncle's Cadillac dealership. Sounds reasonable. [Postscript: The Good Job Good Effort Kid is roughly the same age as Heat good-luck national anthem singer Julia Dale (left). Hmm. Arranged marriage, anyone? Burnie officiates, DJ Irie leads the wedding band, Birdman as best man, Pat Riley on the toast. I'm just sayin'!]

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN ... YOUR PALM BEACH DOLPHINS!: Doomsaying Dolphins president Mike Dee is at it again. Just a few days after calling the future of the franchise "bleak" because its stadium-renovation plan died in Tallahassee, Dee on Thursday hinted the club might consider switching counties and exploring a new stadium in Palm Beach. Asked directly of that possibility, Dee said, "We're open-minded to all long-term solutions." This strikes us as a major public-relations misplay. At a time when Dolfans finally are feeling optimistic about the team, the owner and president are grousing, threatening, wringing hands and saying how shaky the future is. Wrong, wrong message.

On Dolphins' Super Bowl L bid: Host city for the 50th Super Bowl will be awarded May 21. The 1aa1acarrier49ers' new stadium in Santa Clara is expected to win, but South Florida is bidding, too -- even though the Dolphins just spent the past four months barking about how their dilapidated stadium would never get another Super Bowl. Self-fulfilling prophecy, anyone? The SoFla bid for the golden-anniversary SB includes celebrity football games aboard an aircraft carrier docked by the Heat arena. File it under: Strange Ideas That Will Never Come To Fruition.

MAXIM HOT 100 TOPPED BY ... REALLY!?: Miley Cyrus -- overcoming that overbite that makes her a little too toothy for some of us -- is the sexiest woman alive for 2013, according to a fan vote. She is pictured, as sexified as she can be. Rounding out top five: Selena 1aa1cyrusmGomez, Rihanna, Mila Kunis, Jennifer Lawrence. My pick, in 8th place, Kate Upton. Other notables: MMA fighter Ronda Rousey 29th (because guys dig a woman who can beat them into submission), Andy Roddick's Brooklyn Decker 59th, and (seriously) Manti Te'o's invisible girlfriend 69th. Nominated but denied the Hot 100: D-Wade's girl Gabrielle Union. Gabby must be pretty pleased about losing to a woman who does not exist. I must say, between Miley Cyrus winning and a hoax finishing 69th, I believe I may have lost all respect for something probably not meriting much in the first place come to think of it.

You mean Filomena didn't crack the top 100? How about the AARP top 100 or plastic surgery top 100 or even the greatest people in the world top 100? Her daughter sure thinks she is "hot". Although looking at her mouth in that picture, I am sure she has worked it out quite a bit through the years.

Too funny. If Rose plays,whatever....it helps the Heat because Robinson and Rose likely won t play together because of MAJOR mismatches inside the paint for the Heat. Therefore only 1 can be a scorer with consistency.Besides Chicago and their naive fans act like the Heat are afraid to show up.Get real. They now KNOW that Miami can quickly go off on them and hold the pedal down for a long time....especially now that the Heat has shaken off the rust of 1 inactive week.Haha.Noah talks a good game but NO ONE can STOP the King once HE DECIDES that he wants to amp of the competition.GO HEAT.

BTW ........let the Dolphins leave/move to Palm Beach.Dee and Ross are becoming big, sulking crybabies and NO ONE except a few thousand fans will care whether they leave or not. They didn t get their way in Tallahassee last week and now they re trying to blame Miami citizens who did not even vote on the resolution to upgrade Dolphin stadium???Are you kidding me???They must be reading from the same Loria book on how to get fans to love/buy into your franchise by NOT caring about them.Fast becoming losers .

Maybe they should, their ticket buyers come from up there anyway, it's always packed headed north after games, free and clear headed back to Miami.

Greg your head is buried in the sand on this the Stadium problem is very real stop denying it Dee is doing his job the team needs a viable stadium to remain competetive let the Hurricanes have Sun Life.

Build it in Florida City, Jupiter, Palm Beach County who cares just build it.

The Good Job Good Effort kid cursed the Celtics.

Big Baby - what about Joe Robbie needs renovations?

This whole story is complete horse sh*t, Ross OWNS the stadium, he's the one who convinced the SB committee not to come here without renovations, there's no chance Ross is moving the team (he said as much) and when he sells the team AND the stadium in 10-15 years we can see if the new owner has a better offer to RENT a stadium somewhere and abandon Joe Robbie at that point.

This was about attracting Super Bowl 50, it has nothing to do with the Dolphins staying in Miami, Mike Dee really is an idiot.

If you think no one is driving up to Miami Gardens to watch the Canes play in that dump just imagine how many are going to drive up to Palm Beach if and when the Dolphs move there. Maybe the city of Miami Gardens can take some of their Mau Mau prisoners that they have in lock up and have gladiator games at JRS to make up for the revenue shortage.

http://www.miamiherald.com/2013/05/10/3389294/miami-dolphins-open-minded-to.html

"Headed back north...."

You idiot the stadium is already up north. That's why no one who lives in Miami drives up there to Mau Mau land.

Maybe it started as attracting SB 50 but now it has quickly become about the team staying and it's a real story now.

Mike Dee is doing his job and he is the mouthpiece for Ross he isn't saying anything Ross isn't thinking.

The SB committee would not have been impressed by Miami's offer regardless of the bad pr.

Hey nit wit, Kazaam, you don't get to decide which is the more valuable location, buyers do that. And in the case of South Florida buyers decided that the Miami area not Palm Beach County is where they want to buy. That's why Miami and not Palm Beach is the most populous city in the state.

Geez, what a freaking idiot.

Woodcock you misread the demographics of the State fact is most people now would rather raise a family and live in Palm Beach County than Dade or even Broward for the most part.

Cold Hard Facts brother people would come from all over the state to see them play in Palm Beach and the games would be sold out in Miami Gardens if the team had more than one winning record over the last decade.

The Everglades City Dolphins has a nice ring to it how about the Mantee County Dolphins.

Woodcock - that's exactly my point, Miamians (you know, the worst sports fans in the country?) aren't going to Dolphins games. Fans are driving south from areas like West Palm.

And Big Baby - you didn't answer my question of what needs renovation in Joe Robbie stadium, nor did you address that Stephen Ross has guaranteed that he'll never move the Dolphins and isn't even considering it.

Mike Dee is just spreading some sour grape BS about the next owner moving because he's pissed. F*ck him.

Tear down whatever they are already building or have built in the Bicentennial Park location and build a stadium there and lets see how many fans show up for any type of event there including what would be a spectacular 50th Super Bowl........

Hell, if they would have built Humpty Dumpty there for the Marlins they might actually get some fans especially if they had 20 year old usherettes in topless bathing suits passing out blow jobs to everyone who buys a 32 ounce yard of beer at the games.......

Yea, Kazaam, and as a Ravens fan you should know that when an owner says that he "guarantees that he will never move the team to another city" that we can all take him up on his word.....

Yeah a verbal guarantee from my owner is what I want that's about as good as no guarantee.

Ross is not happy about this situation and people do irrational things when they are not happy.

That he should renovate himself or convince Boca Raton to help build him a new cookie cutter Stadium they could do that for the same price as a renovation.

Big Baby - what in Joe Robbie needs renovation? Why doesn't the fact that you don't know the answer to that make you question your interpretation of Ross' spokesman's vague non-denial that the next owner could potentially move the team?

It doesn't matter what I think needs renovation it matters what the team thinks and they seem to be leaning towards it not being an adequate stadium for the future of the franchise.

Second largest HD screens in the world, largest LCD banner in the world, completely modernized club sections, completely modernized sound system.

This whole thing is about Ross wanting help with up front costs so he can shade the sunny half of the stands and hopefully get a couple thousand more season ticket holders.

If you understand that the stadium was completely modernized as of 2010 (you know, when they hosted the Super Bowl) and that the ONLY renovation Ross was looking for was a roof over the stands it's pretty hard to take their vague non-threats the least bit seriously.

I know a much easier way Ross can increase season ticket sales...

http://www.finsmob-exoduss.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/5873860.jpg

He was also looking to add thousands of seats closer to the field look at the proposed renovation pics I am sure there were other things he wanted for 450 million dollars or that is one expensive roof.

You seem to be like Cote on this one ignore the problem and it will go away blame the team for the bad message that they are sending blah blah blah.

Owners move teams or at least threaten to in order to get what they want the problem is real remove head from sand please.

MILEY CYRUS!!!

if that is she in that picture, she is sporting five pounds of make-up and using a "soft lens" on the camera. looks nothing like her at all-probably good. grace kelly or rita hayworth she ain't and will never be. a dogpatcher!

Bottom line guys is the stadium needs renovating , obviously Ross won't move the team ( he saimd it) but who knows when the new owner is going to do...

And JoJo, you may be a nice guy but you don't know what you are talking about so SU.

Maybe you should suggest that every paying customer be issued golf type umbrellas with the name I am Kazaam emblazoned on them in Dolphins aqua and orange in order for the fans to protect themselves from the weather......

Kaz is right in this argument. The whole thing is a non-story. Actually worse. It's a negative non-story, as the only thing of substance that comes of it is that it places a degree of uncertainty into a fragile player's (wow, but I just move here! Should I even bother to buy a house?) mind. We all know that generally these athletes are not the sharpest tools in the shed, and able to recognize intent.

Mike Dee is being stupid and should be brought to the carpet. He is taking a page out of the Obama administration playbook in applying scare tactics and in thinking that most people can see through this BS.

Difficult to type in this damn I-Pad...sorry people.

I still say, let Ross put up his own money. It is not like this guy is a stable owner. The guy has the money.

A negative non story it is not Robert Kraft threatened to move his team The New England Patriots to Hartford, CT. and the uproar was enormous from fans he survived that backlash but they offered him a great deal he probably should have taken it.

Hey, everything can use a little renovation, here and there. The point is just prudent business. Not necessarily what is right or wrong, but prudent business.

The businessman will ask; why should I spend 100% of my own money to build the value of said business unit when I can TRY to get OTHERS to pay a portion thereof?

Right on Naples he can afford it and should simply pay the cost of renovation my guess is that he may eventually have to but I am sure he will listen to better offers.

Ignore the problem? The 'solution' is DEAD - it's not going to a vote, it's not happening.

This owner hasn't even threatened to move the team - he has guaranteed that he will not move the Dolphins from Miami as long as he's owner.

He hasn't threatened to move the team but when Dee comes out and says that the future of the team staying in Sun Life looks "bleak" then trust me Ross isn't disagreeing with that assessment.

What does the Troll think about this, Kaz? What did she say about it when she was spoon feeding you your porridge this morning? "I don't really think I would like to have to limo all the way up to Palm Beach, Kazy." "Don't worry, auntie, didn't you hear what Woodcock said, I'm going to get everyone at JRS nice little golf umbrellas to keep the team in Miami Gardens." "Oh, that would be nice dear."

Ross was putting up I think 60% of his own money ( if not more ) plus the renovations would have helped both the team and the community a win win for both, shame that that asswipe didn't allowed it to go to a vote..

I for one will never vote for him..

There you go again Kazy-puuh, you're going to be very disappointed when Ross gives my boy Ireland a contract extension...when that happens what are you going to do amigo, root for the Ravens full time?... Good we don't need you.

The whole point of this stadium renovation fiasco is that Ross does need season ticket holders like me because crappy bandwagon Miami fans aren't going to games.

My contract is up after this year, I'm not renewing, I'm just going to pick and choose games.

The minute they start winning games on a consistent basis the fans will show up again and I think that's coming soon..( the winning that is )

So now by abandoning your already underpriced season ticket package you are becoming a crappy Miami bandwagon fan congratulations.

What? You're not renewing? Now who's the crappy fair weather fan, Kazaam? Did you know that you could get a nice little umbrella in Dolphins colors if you renew your season ticket subscription?

Here's the difference between you and me Woodcock - I watch every Dolphins game and can name the two deep depth chart.

You can't name 10 Hurricanes players and can't name the teams they beat and lost to last season.

But yea, besides the Hurricanes I'm absolutely a crappy bandwagon Miami fan - I gave up Heat tickets between Shaq and LeBron and I usually show up late for Heat games.

A far more interesting story. Yes, story. Is that tiny iti biti coincidence, though no doubt, hahaha - impotent, between Barack Obama's deputy national security advisor for communications - Ben Rhodes, and his brother David Rhodes, president of CBS News. You know, the fellow who directs network news gathering for all CBS News platforms.

I'm sure there is zero manipulation of the public going on there. Yep.

Expect Hillary to throw Ben under the bus as she tries to cleanse herself of this mess. David will follow his brother a bit later on.

You can name the two deep depth chart incorrectly you mean hehe.

Did you have season tickets for the Dolphins when they went undefeated and won their only two Super Bowls?

Where you at the Rose Bowl when Miami won their last NCAA championship?

Where you at the Fiesta Bowl when we last played for a championship and got hosed in the end zone against Ohio State?

Unless you can answer yes to the three questions above, kiss my ass Kazaam.

I was, where were you?

Are they roasting Obi's onions on the fire OC? How about Hill's onions, who's are they roasting those too?

You know that this cover up and obstruction of justice makes Watergate look like Romper Room right? Where is Bernstein and Woodward now when we need them?

I know whom Hillary and her jelly butt thinks who "deep throat" is..........

Wasn't born for the Dolphins but yes I was at the Rose Bowl and Fiesta Bowl.

For the record I've never insinuated that you're not a UM fan when they're winning championships.

All I'm saying is that you stopped following altogether when they stopped winning championships and that you complain about Shalala because you have no idea what happened with the players, team, and program under Larry Coker, Randy Shannon, and now Al Golden.

Knew it, damn, I'm glad we got to play those stiffs from Nebraska in the Rose Bowl. We could overcome your negative mojo against those stiffs but we couldn't overcome it against State. Thank goodness that you weren't born yet when the Dolphs won the two Super Bowls. Why hell, Kaz, if you had season tickets like I this we would have gone 1-13 that year........Do us all a favor and stop attending Dolphin and Canes games. It's bad enough to have to carry that little Troll on our backs everywhere we go, and, have to put up with your bad luck as well.

Both Super Bowls I've gone to with a vested interest my team has won.

Rooting for the 49ers just further cements your admitted legacy of being a bandwagon fan nothing to brag about.

Good then keep going to Ravens games or move to Baltimore.

I just noticed your second post. Dude, your so full of crap, I'm probably as big a Canes fan as there is on this blog. It's the only sports team that I actually care about and get upset when they lose. The other teams that I've always rooted for, the Dolphins, Lakers, and SF Giants, could all lose every single game and it wouldn't upset me as much as when the Canes lose just one game.

You, sir, are an imbecile.

Yea, I will, not like I could ever give up those PSLs, the wait list is thousands of names long.

And the Ravens beat the 49ers last year Big Baby. It was on TV and everything.

You said that you attended the 49ers versus San Diego Superbowl in 94' unless that was bs and you made it up which is it?

I have a very good memory you even said that you rooted for that 49ers team (gag) and Steve Young.

I've been to a bunch of Super Bowls but I've only been to two where my team was playing.

And yea, when I was a kid I always picked a team to root for. Also liked the Broncos over Atlanta, had an Elway jersey and everything.

*root for in the Super Bowl.

I only watched the Dolphins in the regular season, only played as Marino in Madden.

Well start rooting for the Gaytors then, fish. Maybe you can give them the bad mojo.

The best explanation I've heard on the subject comes bwo the fear-mongering, Glenn Beck and the - still looking for Al Capone's treasure, Geraldo Rivera. Their version makes the most sense, and if you haven't heard it, it goes something like this:

"The U.S. was involved in a secret mission in Libya to arm the Syrian rebels, which was the reason for the initial secrecy about the attack in Benghazi. They were there to round up those shoulder-fired surface-to-air missiles, they were going to hand those missiles over to the Turks and the Turks were going to give them to the rebels in Syria, 'Rivera said.' It was like Iran-Contra."

This version fits, as it then explains why: a) The President and those in his immediate circle try to quash details and create and promote a ridiculously false story. b) why they didn't lose any sleep over it that night, even rejecting attempts to salvage a rescue. An "ops" gone bad/kill the evidence. c) why Mitt Romney did not pursue the issue during the debates, as then-CIA Director David Petraeus probably suggested to Mitt that there was a secret mission going on there, and that we can’t go there, or talk about it. d) why high ranking agencies, even politicians from the "other side" would go along with such coverup.

Ultimately, the Prez gets a free-pass and escapes damages from an event that would have surely torpedoed his election, as pretty much everyone in power would agree that learning the TRUTH would not be for the good of the country.

9/11 was an outside job.

If Joe Biden and Hilary Clinton had a love child I wonder how that poor kid would look like..

OC, nothing is going to happen mi amigo, the fackin liberal press will not throw their messiah (Obi) under the bus.

Hey Kazty-..you had an Elway jersey as a kid?...hhhhmmmm, I thought you were still a kid, still I compliment you on your over all general knowledge about a lot of subjects we discuss here but there is one you still don't know chit about...Football amigo.

i suppose if your choice is to, A) INSIST something awful and nefarious happened, and B) maybe think that confusion is sometimes an immediate offspring of terror attacks 6000 miles away, then yeah, i suppose anything out of glenn beck's or geraldo's mouth makes sense.
wow.
this stadium B.S. is ridiculous; despite above, i agree with O.C. and kaz.
ownership's timing on this is completely awful; you're trying to win back fans, not alienate them.
god, i wish the arisons could own every team in miami.
problems solved.
thanks for the well wishes; i do not have cancer at this point, (thank god i decided to finally quit smoking in october.
between the polyp and the sinus surgery, it's been a rough week.
watching film noir movies from the 40's, and relaxing.
tonight i'll walk up to big wangs on cahuenga, a few blocks from home, and watch game 3.
i think the bulls are done, rose or no rose.

fellers,

sorry, but there are several of the boys who have rooting interests other than the dolphins or UM. i didn't grow up here, came to miami in 98 in the midst of that jimmy/danny/jimmy thing that uncle neil, RIP, used to play endlessly and watched a team that i had grown to admire under shoes in the hands of coaches who couldn't find a brighter offensive mind than kippy brown to be the OC. i guess they won a couple of playoff games while i was here the first time-98-2003 seasons- but i witnessed the firing of bill zimfer and the bringing in of the incompetetent howard david, voice of the lousy stinkin' jets. came back for the glorious 2008 season where everything went fine ubder pennington and #15 arrived. we know what has happened since. and that's on the field. now with this stadium junk and trying to blackmail the fans- no thanks. if the team were a winner the place would be fine nad fans would show; instead you have management who accede to 4:15 game times and give up the ho-hum (heat and humidity) and make it easier on the enemy. rainbow coalition ownership!! what the **** do i care if the williams sisters, gloria estefan, jason collins or anybody else owns a point or two in the team? danny thomas and joe robbie were good enough. move the team to palm beach? the poorest county in america once you get away from the ocean and start heading towards bell galde and pahokee? when i got here i really admired dolphin fans who had been with the team from the expansion days and stuck it out with #13 even though they didn't getto but one super bowl. now the fans are at the mercy of dumbo and his multi-colored coalition and i feel for the fans who tatsted sucess relatively early for an expansion team because they had shula at the helm. as stated many times, my original team was the LA rams (after a mild rooting interest in the y.a. tittle giants) and then the bengals. i rooted for the dolphins because of maddog, RIP, #15, and the many friends i havewho live and die with the locals. i am returning to the bengals along with Mr. Woodcock and if the dolphins have a great season and the gang here is ecstatic, great. but i don't have a guy on the team left who i can honestly say i really keeps me interested (well, maybe cameron wake since i saw him coming out of the CFL when most of the rest were "oh, he's from canada, forget him). well right now he is the best player the dolphins have. they open at the browns who now possess my favorite player; we'll see what he can do against the regime that cut him loose. sorry for the stream of conscienceness post, but this "new stadium or we are outta here" opens the hypothalmus. these clowns have a stadium located perfectly on the broward county line and they wanna move it up so it's a two hour drive- without the parking hassles that will come- from downtown miami? screw them! i live due east in north miami beach and can't imagine a better spot for football games for anyone living in dade, hollywood or even the wine tasters in east palm beach. if they want to improve the place, the mega-billion owners didn't need to foiust even a one penny tax on tourists- too bad that ad didn't play in the locations from which tourists come. what a bunch of rubes this group musta thought the tourists and taxpayers are- guess again chester. time to cut out for the Holy Sabbath. have a great weekend, anybody who could stick it out through this megalong post.

Great news, Dapper. Does it feel any different peeing with a 1/2 inch clitoris than with a 1/2 inch penis?

hey woody: put on a strong pair of adult diapers and meet me at big wangs for the heat game.
there's always a small scattering of heat fans, mixed in with Dbag laker fans rooting for ANY team playing against miami.

Jezzis, Shadow, feel free to throw in an indentation and some new paragraphs, buddy. At 60 my eyes ain't what they used to be.

WTF is Wangs? Can't tonight, but I'll meet you one day for sure.

I'm flabbergasted at what I've learned so far. I have to admit that I have had my eyes on Tesla and have paid almost zero attention to this Benghazi business, but this is outrageous conduct to say the least. Frankly, I expect the left wing nuts from Redville to be conspicuously absent from the blog for a few days. Lefty must be in full fetal right now sucking his thumb in the corner of his hovel listening to the developments on his old Radio Shack 6 transistor portable radio. And it serves them right. After all, it was their ilk who railroaded poor Dick Nixon, the second best president in my lifetime, out the door for a minor political shenanigan that in a civilized country like France or Italy would have barely registered a blip on the radar. Our heroes had to get rid of Dick Nixon and their success doomed the country into the bowels of darkness that befell it. Jimmy "the fish" Carter was the result of this nefarious interference with the popularly elected president who had just won a landslide. And they have the audacity to talk about the Republicans stealing the White House from that idiot and imbecile Al "I invented the internet" Gore. Please, had you losers simply accepted the will of the people and accepted Watergate for what it was, a harmless political maneuver the country would have been better off for it. But no you decided to throw the baby out with the bath water and ruin it for everyone. Thus you set in motion not only the polarization in American society that we have today, the Red and Blue States, the gridlock and the destructive partisanship that has almost made it impossible to govern, but Mr. Carter's inaction and jelly like backbone in the face of murderous radical Muslim extremism would have never happened had it not been for the Woodward and Bernstein and the Daniel Ellsberg traitor types who railroaded one of the most popular and competent presidents that this country has ever had. Nixon and Kissinger were replaced by that political eunuch Ford, and then by the totally hapless Carter. You made your bed and now you have to lie on it. This Benghazi business and the Republicans response to it is tit for tat for the Watergate lynching. You scumbag Democrats and progressives started this and now the country is on a political free fall as a result.

Well I hope you enjoy what you are seeing. "As you sow so shall you reap."

Amen.

Consider this cut & paste an example demonstrating either youthful naivete, or faulty analysis:
----
Haha, that's funny, just saw OC's post about the different news networks.

Syria is the only real news story out of all that noise, the funny thing is the two news stories he wanted to set apart as being important are just exploitative nonsense (EXPLOITATIVE NONSENSE!!! mind you. OC for emphasis) from Foxnews.

* And of course more Benghazi noise, another completely non-news worthy twist that a random bureaucrat in the counter terrorism bureau says communication wasn't good with the White House that night - which the bureau director completely denies. Says he was completely in the loop.

yes woody; the mess we are in all goes back to nixon getting caught lying about stealing an election he was going to run away with anyway.
lol.. time to change your diapers..

Dapper, you must have been in diapers when Dick Nixon was president. You need to read up on the "real" history books.

Stealing an election? Bro, Nixon's pet hamster could have won 48 states that year.

George Sauer died today. One of the most underrated wide receivers in NFL history. With "Country" Don Maynard on the other side Broadway Joe had one of the greatest wide receiving tandems in league history.

I've watched all three games and boy, you have to give it to the Bulls. Undermanned, with almost 1/2 of their team on the bench and they have given Miami all they want. Just a team with great heart and coaching. I'm sure that 98% of the fans around the league are rooting big for them against the Heat.

It is a great idea to renovate the stadium, why should the billionaire owner have to pay for it? How else will he pay guys millions of dollars to run around and throw a ball. Those hotel taxes won't cost us anything, unless you happen to stay at a hotel in Miami. Obviously nobody that lives in Miami would need lodging in their city.

We really need that super bowl here, that one game really make a huge difference for all of us. How else will we survive?

Owner/players/fans that attend the games are the only ones that benefit ant they should be the only ones that pay. We all know that tickets, concessions, and parking are all as high as possible, so now they are trying to find other ways to extract money from the community.

Dududududuh!

The NFL is holding cities hostage to get tax dollars for their teams in exchange for the super bowl. Let them go to Jacksonville, NY, Det if they want, at some point they will figure out that they need us more than we need them.

LeBron James CLEARLY PAID OFF AN OFFICIAL (the lone white man official) in last night's game (it's the ONLY way these old men can win). Anyone who witnessed the exchange between them shortly before a string of ridiculous "fouls" were called by this same official should investigate James and his payoffs to officials.

LMAO. Hey, Dapper, your boy is sweating like a fat boy at a prom. Looks like Jelly Butt was lying her ass off.

So sad, Dapper, so sad indeed.

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/white-house-rebuffs-boehner-benghazi-related-emails-214324542.html

They should bring in Jelly Butt in front of congress and give her 50 paddle shots and then rub in some heavy pimentade on her Jelly Ass for being a lying sack of shit.

Here's Mr. Woodcock's all time All NFL starting offensive team.

QB: John Unitas

FB: Larry Csonka

HB: Reg Grange

WR: Lance Alworth

WR: Fred Biletnikoff

TE: Mike Ditka

LT: Ron Yary

RT: Bruce Mathews

LG: Jerry Kramer

RG: Fuzzy Thurston

C: Mick Tinglehoff

Any way we can fix up Lil Wayne with angry blonde and her large middle finger? I think they'd make a nice couple. I hope he's doing well after yet another Bullz loss. So goes Lil Wayne so goes all of humanity...

Ditka, Bearz, Polish Sausage, Bearz, Bearz, Bearz... Who would win Coach Ditka or a Hurricane wait wait.. also named Ditka?

Real David the press was mercilous to Nixon. Such a shame. Not to say everything he did was ah by the book but note no paperz dared go after J. Edgar or Dick Helms and they were hardly angelz...

What Jelly Butt needs is to get hit with "palpaditas en los cachetes de la cara de papa con el cabo del nabo!"

Woody ole dukey has to disagree with you on All-Time Offense.

QB Ryan Leaf
FB Dick Leftridge
HB Blair Thomas
WR Golden Richards
WR Rae Carruth
TE Dana Nafziger
T Everette McIver
G Kenyatta Walker
C Eric Ghiaciuc
G Stan Thomas
T Kwame Harris

I don't have any problems with Leaf and Golden Richards but I have a problem with the others......

Hey, OC, you must be thrilled that Sergio Garcia is doing so well at the Players.

woody, did you actually READ what i wrote?
i said he got caught lying about stealing an election "HE WAS GOING TO RUN AWAY WITH ANYWAY."
which shows how paranoid and idiotic he was to begin with.
the election was his.
as a president, his record was mixed.
one one hand, he advocated against corporate pollution with the creation of the EPA, and, of course, he was the 1st to call for a national health insurance mandate as a cure for our then increasing health care costs.
(the democrats at the time called for a universal single payer system, but yeah kaz, we haven't moved to the right at all..)
he also visited china which opened diplomatic relations, (boy i can hear the republicans screaming now if obama decided to visit cuba or iran).
now the bad.
his vice president was a lying crook who resigned in disgrace, he tried to ruin a deal johnson had to end the war before his election as a ploy to be the one to do it, he approved the senseless bombing of cambodia after campaigning to end the war, and he meddled in elections in south america.
indeed he did do some remarkable things; many things that republicans screamed at clinton about, or would scream at obama about now, like imposing wage and price increases; 2 things he opposed his entire career, but decided to do. (flip flop!)
point is, he did some great things, but if he were alive today, he'd be a democrat.

there isn't ONE pre-bush republican, (MAYBE reagan, and i doubt it), that would identify with the loons that currently run the modern republican party.
i wish some of you old timers could be around another 20 years so you can witness my often told prediction of republicans, in their current form, never winning another presidential election again.

Of course I didn't read anything. Dude, I have the worst case of ADD of anyone on this blog. I'm on a roll today, tough. I've never stomached Hillary Clinton. Can't stand her. Would vote for Pewee Herman before I vote for that bitch. And if this Benghazi business means that I can finally shovel sand on her political corpse the happier it makes me.

How, ya feeling? When I had vocal chord surgery I was not allowed to talk for a week and it just about killed me. If my mother was given the same verdict it would kill her in 5 minutes. Ask OC, the woman does not stop talking even to catch her breath.

OK, Dapper, I took an aderall and chased it down with a brewsky and read you entire post about Nixon. Tricky Dick was ten times the president that any Democrat who has held the office since 1950. In spades he was better. The point I tried to make is that Watergate was similar to cheating in recruiting. Everyone does it, it's part of how business is run. There isn't a politician in America regardless of party affiliation that isn't a crook. And rightfully so. Only brain dead morons try to "nanny state" human nature. When you decide on a career who's sole requirement is that you get more people to vote for you than the other guy human nature will make sure that all of the candidates do anything in their power to get the most votes. Having said that, what your boys, the Democrats did to poor Dick Nixon was tantamount to the scene in Casablanca when Louis has to close down Rick's and he uses the gambling excuse. "I'm shocked, shocked, that there's gambling going on here..."

Horse hack, Jr. I you ain't cheating you ain't trying.

Sweet Jesus and Daniel Ellsberg. He was a bad man. He was a very bad man...

Who? Daniel or Tricky?

Tricky was a Saint. I'm a Nixon guy pure and simple. But Daniel, on the other hand, should have been sent to cornfield to protect countries national interest...
