Tannehill vs. World: Name best young QB. New poll; plus NSD, Gangnam golfer, Heat Big 5@45, Amazin' Canes win again & more

This is your National Signing Day headquarters! (Not really): Proudly, we won't have up-to-the second updates on whether, for example, the Hurricanes landed coveted long-snapper Lennay Tanktread of Surgery Prep, because we know that info is only available to you about a thousand other places including live on ESPN. However, later in the day, we will assemble all pertinent information and then -- after extensive research consisting of the Internet -- we'll assess how the Canes and others did. Stay tuned.

[1) It is WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 6. Hey, sorry I'm late, y'all. Barack and I were off skeet-shooting. 2) Alex Rodriguez thinks he might be the victim of a conspiracy. Looky here. 3) In The Previous Blogpost (ITPB): How power outage saved Super Bowl, SB grades, TV, '14 odds. 4) Join us on Twitter @gregcote]

1aa1kreskinYes, the Amazing Kreskin is still alive: His publicist informs us the Amazing Kreskin correctly predicted the Super Bowl winner. That puts Kreskin in the exclusive company of myself and about 86.3 million other people who also correctly picked Baltimore.

TANNEHILL AGAINST THE WORLD: NAME THE BEST YOUNG QB: Watching the Super Bowl the other night at my house with a small group, a friend remarked, of Colin Kaepernick: "(Ryan) Tannehill might become 1aa1goldenagereally good, but he's not this guy." I said nothing but immediately thought: Blog poll! This is a Golden Age of Golden Young Arms in the NFL. Just look at the seven names in the poll. All meet my criteria: One or two years' NFL experience, and 25 years old or younger. (The "somebody else" category also might include, among others, Nick Foles, Blaine Gabbert, Jake Locker and Christian Ponder. Notes on three more: Sam Bradford is 25 but has played three pro years, Matthew Stafford turns 25 this week but has played four, and Brandon Weeden was a rookie this past season but is 29). Here is how impressive the poll names are: Tannehill might be last in some estimations, and he just passed for 3,294 yards as a rookie. You'll wish you had about five votes here but you only have one. So. Which young QB would you most want on your team? Vote and say why.

HOW AND WHY CANES LOST RB RECRUIT COLLINS TO ARKANSAS: I know folks at South Plantation High; was the baseball announcer there for several years. And I can tell you Miami didn't lose highly recruited 1aa1acollinsrunning back Alex Collins to Arkansas because of anything Al Golden's staff did wrong. I am told Collins' decision was based on two factors: 1) He had built up a strong relationship with Wisconsin coach Bret Bielema, and when the coach moved to Arkansas (on Dec. 4, 2012) and took his Miami-area recruiter Charlie Partridge with him, Collins' thoughts immediately went with him to the Razorbacks because of that relationship. 2) The Southeastern Conference. Playing in America's premier college-football conference was something Miami and the ACC could not offer. Despite Miami's history of great running backs, Collins became convinced the SEC stage would better foster a future NFL career. A pretty major blow to UM's recruiting  class as Wednesday's National Signing Day arrives.

PROFESSIONAL GOLFER DOES IT GANGNAM STYLE: It was James Hahn, on the green, after a birdie putt. Funny. Click here to watch.

HEAT BIG 5 @ 45: The blog loves bells 'n whistles especially of the nerdy-stat variety and so we started this new one we are running throughout Heat season at five-game intervals. It's a top-five cumulative 1aa1heat5ranking of the players having the biggest overall impact this season based on eight statistical categories. The numbers themselves might not mean much but the numbers relative to each other give an indication of the contribution players are making. The Big 5 @ 45 Games (31-14):

Rank (@40)   Player   Total

1 (1)   LeBron James   1,711.1

2 (2)   Dwyane Wade   1,139.6

3 (3)   Chris Bosh   1,087.5

4 (4)   Ray Allen   687.5

5 (5)   Mario Chalmers   665.6

Bubble: Udonis Haslem, 454.1

Heat's subtle early lobbying to re-sign LeBron: LeBron James can leave in free agency after next season, in 2014, and one way Miami hopes to keep him is simply to show constant appreciation, publicly and privately. "To never, ever take him or what he does for granted," as coach Erik Spoelstra likes to say. Two nights ago James scored 31 points on a career-best, near-perfect 13-for-14 shooting. The consistency of his excellence can make it seem routine; Spoelstra's constant praise fights that. James telling ESPN.com last week he doesn't feel he gets enough credit for taking less money to be here did not surprise Heat officials. As one member of the front-office staff told me, "LeBron likes to be appreciated."

LARRANAGA'S AMAZING HURRICANES: [Update: UM steamrolled visiting Boston College last night, Miami's 10th straight win to go 9-0 in the ACC] Original post: I try to avoid hyperbole. Don't use words like "amazing" often. 1aa1jimlBut Jim Larranaga's Miami men are 17-3, have won nine in a row, have risen to a program-best-tying No. 8 in the national polls, and are 8-0 in the ACC -- the first team other than Duke or North Carolina to do that since 1981. Yes: that's pretty amazing. I spoke to Larranaga yesterday for today's column. Being a head coach in the ACC had been a lifelong ambition of his. Even when he gained national attention leading George Mason to the Final Four in 2006, he had not arrived to where he wanted to go. Now, in his second season here in the ACC, Larranaga is proving he belongs. He is proving to be the perfect man to win big and also to grow college basketball in what has never been a hotbed. Click on Fulfilling A Dream for the full column.

Click back. Will be updating/adding to this latest blogpost...

Greg I agree that the SEC is very high profile.Collins running against the Big Dogs will be interesting, and the fuzzy with the Coach can only go so far..Production or you are warming the wood.

However Collins running with Johnson could have rewritten the books and gained National attention.
I think that Collins wanted to be the Prima Donna and did not want to share the spotlight, because we know where Duke is going...(Like a rocketship in National Prominence).

One point to ponder is how Collins will feel when the 'U' is back, and he knows he could be part of the resurgence but just isn't there..people will remind him.
You either want to be a 'Cane or on the outside looking in..

no more sucking for luck. Football wednesday! england vs brazil and usa vs honduras wold cup qualifier. Electric, hopefully

I voted for Cam Newton still think he has the most potential but all are top notch.

The running QB's shelf life may be a lot shorter however.

Think Tanny will lead Miami to the playoffs next year and beyond if they have a good offseason guy can make all of the throws he is still learning and is a student of the game.

Greg, wanting to be a running back in the NFL and then deciding to play on artificial turf is unusual. Particularly in a climate with frequent sub-freezing temperatures like Fayetteville. There is a 40% higher knee injury incident rate even with the newer artificial turfs.

"College football players suffer knee injuries about 40 percent more often when playing on an artificial surface compared to when they're playing on grass, according to a new study.

"We thought it was interesting because many universities are switching to the new generation artificial turf," said Dr. Jason Dragoo, the study's lead author and a professor at Stanford University School of Medicine.

horace johnson,

finally someone to join mike1 and the ole shadow here in an-to say the least-interest in futbol. with with ESPN buying the rights to the EPL (bad, but good for them when they have no basketball on sunday afternons in the summer), FSC loses a huge chunk of programming unless they share. however, BEIN has upgraded to HD and they have ray hudson and i believe the USA qualifiers for the WC. poor michelle kaufman can't get one post on her soccer blog, which is absurd. mike1 and i try to brin a little futbol here, but we are engulfed by our good friends already salivating over the NFL draft. england versus a #13 or #19 ranked brazil- i support the three lions, mexico and holland- but the hosts of next year's WC are a shadow of a shadow of their former great teams, with only budding superstar neymar and (the incredible) hulk as players of real substance. again, why are they playing at 4 PM? honduras choice to broil the gringos in that ntropical sun? as stated previously, the USA will be lucky to get a draw as the only scorer on the squad is the really fantastic (american standards) clint dempsey. michael bradley must prove himself as a midfielder who can control a game.

None of those other quarterbacks had the worst GM in the league leave them throwing to trashcans being pushed around in shopping carts. I take Luck over RG3 and Wilson (who could break) and Kaepernick (whose team doesn’t trust to throw on third down).

mike1 qnd horace johnson,

question: aren't rio ferdinand and john terry way too slow to keep up with a player such as chicharito (he being the quickest forward in last WC) when they play in non-friendlies? i ilke rio ferdinand, but despise john terry, loathe john terry- and he looks like he's playing in quicksand. those white "boots" are not making hi look like billy (white shoes) johnson in the least. plus he plays for chelski- not one reason to like a (former) team captain who lays a teammate's wife. the most despicable player in the world unless one roots for the russian oligarch (read "murdering friend of murderous putin") who owns the blues. el tri plays thursday night but way too late for me to stay up and watch- i'll rely on my pals' synopsis of the game. time to watch- for the nth time- what i consider to be my favorite goal: giovanni dossantos toying with tim howard for theball and then putting it perfectly into the uppermost left corner of the goal in the 4-2 mexican victory in the USA.

NEVER ENOUGH OF THIS (mexican and american announcers0:

Hire The UM Basketball Coach! As Heat Coach!

Lebron Nearly Goes Perfect! And The Heat Almost Lose!! To The Raptors!!

Don't Get Mad If Lebron Leaves!! Because The Coaching Here Sucks!! As Bad As It Did In Cleveland!!

Remember, Not 1, Not 2,3,4....

But Stick Up For The Spineless!! Gutless!! Smartless!! Coach!!

OK, The Last Word I Made Up!! But You Guys Are Use To That! Wth The Pointless Basketball!! And All!

On The U

I'm More Worried About The Star LB! Than Duke's Backup!

Gomez is a scorer and so is Altidore shadow let's give the yanks a little more credit USA USA!

Collins is wrong if he doesn't think UM would have given him just as good chance of reaching the NFL as any SEC school. UM sends player after player to the NFL. This is well documented.

Ted Ginn Jr., I gotta laugh, The guy should be wearin a Brown outfit delevering UPS instead of being in the NFL...

http://tracking.si.com/2013/02/05/ted-ginn-wants-son-out-of-san-francisco-49ers/

And then there's This....

http://youtu.be/ZYSxJgjjJFc

Ginn is a very good PR/ KR he deserves a roster spot just for that purpose but I guess Cam was right it really is about Ted Jr's family.

So let me get this straight, you guys are worried about a 17 year old kid and where he is going to spend the next 4 years of his life?..Why?

To me, the big fish on the pond is Golden..hehe, (you guys got it) he is a great recruiter and coach, we're fine.

I voted for Luck as the best young QB, it doesn't mean I don't like our guy T-Hill, as a matter of fact I think he's going to be a stud.

Kazaam, congrats on the Ravens winning, I was rooting for them too.

by the way, you're wrong about Ireland, you just hate him just like I hate M Chalmers, the same thing.

Dashi !!!, what's up meng..I think Spo should play Pittman, what do you think?

Of course Jim Larranaga is a great coach, he's Cuban.

Greg you missed the boat with Collins. Alex was actually LIVING with his coach Gatewood who was a father figure to him and has a relationship with Brett Bielema. Gatewood steered the kid there .It is rumored that Gatewood will be going to Arkansas with Collins. This may be very shady if thats true.
It looks like Gatewood shopped the kid to Bielema in return for an advancement of his coaching career. If so the NCAA needs to look into this.I see Collins as more of a victim here than a villain. Please use you resources to investigate this.

Sorry for not posting in my usual Blue...
This ones for you FZB My amigo.....

maybe we can sign Ted Ginn Jr and his family again, I think they need ushers at the stadium.

FZ,Nah, I beleive Teds true talent will be as a "Sideline" Reporter...

If Golden is such a great recruiter how come his class is #56 at Rival?
How come he was more commits from Nigeria than from So Fla?
Are the players that make it to the NFL a result of which school they played for or how talented they really are?
Why ask why?

Anti,

Dios mio !!!

I think the Dolphins are scouting this player..

http://pixhost.me/avaxhome/d2/a2/0023a2d2_medium.jpeg

Not lately. Not as many as we used to. You can blame Kazaam's auntie Bitch for that.

Shame on you FZ, What if Lil Potter87 is lookig at these posts???
Please change your name when posting half naked women on here(I Believe Lil Potter see's you as a Role Model..)

Laranaga es un cubiche?

LeCog...Rivals judges class ranking buy the size of the class, as well as by the star ranking system. Miami's class is going to be smaller than most this year, do your homework!

Also looking at the average number of stars put this class in the top 20. Ed Reed a 2 star, go figa! have fun with the star rankings, lol!

Anti,

I think your right about Ted Ginn's occupation, his nic-name is "out of bounds Ted"

Hey Jacquez, you're not too bright are you?

schools recruiting against Golden have had a field day for three recruiting classes because of the NCAA investigation, and HE STILL has done a great job bringing in talented kids, last year he had a top ten class, this year he can only sign about 16-17 players (he signed 33 last year).

if you go ESPN it will show you Miami is ranked #2 in highest average star per player but it doesn't show in the rankins because they don't have the numbers.

I don't believe in any of those star rankings, I guess you do but if Golden can turn one or two star recruits at Temple into NFL players he'll do wonders here.

My problem with Collins and this is not sour grapes, is his durability, I have many questions about his ability to deal with SEC defenses. He didn't finish games this year because of issues with bumps, bruises and other assorted injuries.

Durability, watch and see.

Lets Hopew lil Potter's not on now, ere's my friend Jenna....

Lets hope Lil Potter is't on line, Here's my friend Jenna.....

Collins had decided he wasn't coming to The U the moment he saw what Duke was doing. I remember during the off season my brother calling me and telling me to check Collins out on youtube, he thought he was a phenomenal back. I allowed him to finish his rave, then proceeded to inform him that Collin better be ready to catch some pine for a while because Duke Johnson (who had recently committed) is the future of the Canes right now. Which is exactly how it has turned out. Collins is no Duke Johnson, he knew that as long as Duke was at The U he'd be in the shadows.
Much luck to you, Alex, but I wasn't that impressed with your youtube highlights anyway.
If you wanna see something impressive take a look at this:

LOL!

Anti,

I forgot about that, Yes, young Mr. Potter looks at me as a role model of sorts, I'll try to change my eveil ways.

Maybe I should post as "El Papi"...

Woodcock,

Larranaga is a Cubiche, he's great grand-father came in the early 1900's and married a gringa, imagine that.

We have a cubiche as a coach..

We have a cubiche as a coach..

A Cuban IN MIAMI???????

Got to go with Luck, Griffen, ah there it is again durability issues. Wilson up there close. Would like to see Tannehill with some real weapons on offense. He has the makings...jmo!

Newton the best of the rest, the others are straight garbage, Waste Management, straight garbage! lol

As my Jersey friends put it, lol.

Anonymous Cane, I'am going with Wilson. What was he a 5th round pick and beat out a high profile FA???
Gotta say Wilson is gonna be around for some time and performing at a high level.... Again JMHO.
Then again I thought San Fran was going to blow out Baltimore, I Dont Know Sh!T...

Russell Wilson hands down!

I wouldn't call Matthew Stafford a garbage QB far from it he might be better than some on that list.

Guy's, Here's something to think about for all you "U" haters, I think he was a freshman last year, Gotta wonder what this guy's gonna do in the next few years...

http://youtu.be/1JaHQB9odlA

The idea that Tannehill is number 2 in voting out of that list is ludicrous. Sorry to say it, but it just shows how delusional Dolphins fans have become. Being a Marylander now, I get to see first hand the contrast between a well run, premier organization like the Ravens and the essential opposite in the Redskins, as well as how the fans of the two franchises look at their teams. Sad to say, but the Dolphins have clearly slid into the disfunctional category over the last decade and drafting Tannehill thinking he is going to be a franchise quarterback is just an excellent example of that. They'd have been far better off drafting a lineman and waiting for a truly elite QB to come along, either later in the draft or in future years.

G8RH8R, You just realized this?
LOL, I've know this since 1998.
Your 15 years to late.

Tannehill had a good rookie year by most accounts especially given his lack of starts in college.

Miami was lucky to draft him at # 8 he is going to be a very good QB when I think of Marylanders I think of them driving 55 MPH in the passing lane always in my way and CLUELESS like this guy.

ALL you Infidels ( T-Hill haters ) will have to eat your words in a couple of years.

these are my new "amigas"..

Celtics on a roll without Rondo FZB no doom and gloom like you predicted yet.

I said they would be fun to watch and they are lots of trade rumors flying now.

Hey FZB, por favor poco poter 78 supiera español, no corromper nuestra grien lttle..

Those seven QBs on the list show promise and the majority of them may have already demonstrated to their teams that they should now focus on filling other positions.

I'm in that camp who suspends judgement over Tannehill due to the team's lack of receiving talent and thus demonstrating his true worth. Tannehill, much like Kazaam has correctly pointed out about Flacco, might be good enough to win it all, but to me misses in one area. He has not shown, or may not have that Payton-"esque" drive to march down the field to snatch victory from defeat. That desperation and refusal to lose that is so demonstratively obvious in so many of the great ones. Still, he may just be good enough to win.

Only Andrew Luck has all these attributes, the rest are lacking in one or more:

a) size, b) can take a licking and keep on ticking, c) see over coverage, d) can run out of trouble, e) has every throw, f) football smart and just smart, g) demonstrated numerous comeback skills, h) will find a way to win, i) inspires his team towards better play.

Only Andrew Luck has a neck beard also that is key to winning.

Duke is very good, is he an every down back?
Nope
Does he need help to give him a spell once in a while like James did last year?
For sure.
Did he fare well against the only 3 real defenses he faced in FSU, KSU and ND?
Not even close.
Why you so delUsional cane fan?
Heisman? Like Jacory?

Yeah man,

That guys beard is weird.

It's a neck beard not really a fashion statement.

BB, "NECK-BEARD" Lmao..
Is that like Chad Henne's "Neck-Fat"????

Can't see Tannehill with a neck beard can you see Lauren allowing that?

Awesome OC.

Jacques, Tge guy will be "Trophy" Bound next year...

Difference is your complaints are idiotic and irrelevant. Mario Chalmers is a subpar point guard on a team where the best player in the world handles the ball. The defending world champions, the #1 team in the East. A world class organization that has made it to four Finals appearances in the past decade. A team with an obvious and glaring weakness at center, a team that DOESN'T EVEN HAVE A CENTER GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU TO COMPLAIN ABOUT.

I hate Jeff Ireland because the outdated philosophy his mentor taught him (building around linemen and a game managing quarterback) is the predominant reason the Dolphins have been stuck in mediocrity and irrelevance since Dan Marino retired.

Hate to say it but New Orleans, even with the blackout, is far and away the best city in the country for hosting Super Bowls. In retrospect it must be a huge pain in the ass for tourists to get from south Beach to Joe Robbie. Had to fly out at 4:30 Monday but Saturday night was awesome. Met Hall of Famer Warren Sapp and showed Michael Irvin my Ravens Testaverde jersey from afar.

Geez Kaz,

You need a hug buddy?

Warren Sapp and Michael Irvin two world class aholes.

Papi, Your the only person to catch the infamous "Potterfish", Where was this pcture taken??
It's almost like getting a picture of the Lochness Monster or Bigfoot...
I See news folk getting in touch with you soon...

Hey Kaz,

Why are you dissing on my friend FZB like that, he's a good guy, he's right about Ireland ,leave him alone.

you're the douche.

FZB - I know that miami is new to basketball (College). I wasn't bragging about the Gators. I was just saying that Florida has 2 great college basketball teams right now. That's the only point I was making.

As for football, of course the guy changed from an ACC School to an SEC School. There is nothing new about that. That is so obvious that the SEC would be the most desired comference for talented football players.

As for the heat, the players are fine. It's who's playing at each time that's important. I think Birdman and Reshard Lewis need to be playing alot more. Don't know why we can't have a lineup of Lebron, Wade/Allen, Bosh/Lewis, Birdman/Lewis, Chalmers/Birdman

I'm starting to think that Wade is become useless though. I think we'd be better off with Westbrook than Wade.

Anti,

The photo of the "potterfish" was taken in a Mayan sacrificial "pozo" deep in the guatemalan jungle , you know where they used to kill all those virgins.

so the "potterfish" has been feasting on virgin bones for a milenia..That's why it looks like that.

Reshad Lewis is washed up Potter he's useless and the Birdman?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Wade is still one of your best players.

I am hoping that y'all overpay for that grandpa looking dude with the bad knees.

It Do's(The Potterfish)Have a smile, Dos'nt it..

stop it up Baby,

The Celtic's are finito amigo..

Ryan Tannehill is getting the homer vote.
Andrew Luck is getting the racist vote.
And poor little Colin Kaepernick is suffering from 'The Obama Dynamic': too white to get the Black vote, and too black to get the White vote.

All prejudices aside, Russell Wilson trumps everything on that list.

they are not finito.

The entire SEC is not as good at NFL prep as The U. I'm sorry, but if a player wants to get to the next level, there's no better place. FSU does better than the SEC. Notre Dame does better than the SEC. Michigan does better than the SEC. Ohio State, Texas, USC. The SEC may rule the BCS Championship, but they don't breed the level of NFL talent as a lot of other programs outside their pearly white gates...

Anti - I should have known what that link you posted was before I clicked on it.

WHY ARE YOU POSTING PORN ON THIS BLOG???????????!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOT TO MENTION SHES AN UGLY APE.

I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU JUST DID THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M THE ONLY ONE THAT IS NOT UPSET WITH THAT. YOU CLEARLY DO NOT HAVE MY RESPECT AS A PERSON, BLOGGER, OR ANYTHING.

SOMETIMES I DO QUESTION WHY I CONTINUE TO COME TO THIS BLOG. THERE'S ALOT OF STUFF POSTED HERE THAT IS NOT APPROPRIATE FOR THIS BLOG. BUT I BRUSH IT OFF AND MOVE ON.

BUT I NEVER THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO COME TO A SPORTS BLOG AND SEE PORN. IM SORRY IF I AMMUSE YOU WITH MY COMMENTS (THAT PART'S FOR EVERYONE) BUT THERE'S FINE LINE BETWEEN ACCEPTABLE AND NOT ACCEPTABLE AND YOU JUST WENT OVER THE LINE.

YOU HAVE KNOW IDEA HOW MANY PEOPLE READ OUR COMMENT AND DON'T POST ANYTHING. THIS IN NOT ABOUT WHAT AGE YOU ARE. IT'S ABOUT WHAT KIND OF PERSON YOU ARE.

I DONT CARE IF YOU MAKE FUN OF MY VIRGINITY EVERY DAY EVERY YEAR, BECAUSE SIN HAS GRASPED ALOT OF PEOPLE. BE I WILL NOT TOLERATE THIS. I DONT CARE IF IM 30, 45, 60, 80, OR 100 YEARS OLD. I WILL NEVER TOLERATE THIS CR@P.

IM STARTING TO WONDER IF I SHOULD KEEP COMING HERE. DON'T KNOW IF PEOPLE LIKE FZB ARE REALLY SUPPORTING ME OR JUST PRETENDING TO. BUT I CANT COME HERE IF IM GOING TO ACCIDENTALLY CLICK ON PORN!!!!! AND IT'S NOT ME IT'S OTHER PEOPLE TOO. YOU HAVE TO RESPECT THAT PEOPLE DON'T WANT TO SEE THAT.

ITS VERY UNFORTANATE THAT YOU DONT RESPECT WOMEN ENOUGH TO CHOOSE TO NOT EXPOSE THEM LIKE THAT.

I THOUGHT THIS WAS A FUN BLOG. AND THE COMMENTS WERE FUNNY. BUT I CANT BE APART A SPORTS BLOG THAT MAKES ME FEEL GUILTY. YOU JUST TOOK PRETTY MUCH ALL MY FUN AWAY.

I WILL NEVER KNOW IF I SHOULD CLICK ON A LINK ANY MORE - I DON'T CARE IF IT'S A WOMAN IN A BIKINI OR UNDERWEAR BUT PRIVATE PARTS ARE UNACCEPTABLE. THERE'S A REASON THEY'RE CALLEDD PRIVATE.

OF COURSE THERE'S THE THING WERE IF I LEAVE I GET MADE FUN OF OR RIDICULED BEHIND MY BACK, BUT OF COURSE WHAT DOES IT MATTER IF IM NOT HERE TO SEE IT?????

DON'T WORRY I MAY NOT LEAVE YET. BUT DON'T BE SURPRISED IF YOU DON'T SEE ME ANYMORE. ONLY LOSS CAN BE YOURS, NOT MINE. I'M ACTUALLY INTERUPTING MY WORK TIME FOR THIS, SO I COULD BE BETTER OFF GETTING MY WORK DONE.

WOULD BE A SHAME IF NO ONE CARED ABOUT WHAT I FELT AND IF I LEFT. BUT IF NO ONE RESPECTS OR CARES ABOUT WHAT I AND MAYBE OTHERS THINK AND FEEL, THAN I GUESS I DON'T BELONG HERE ANYWAY. I'LL JUST STICK TO COTE'S RANDOM EVIDENCE OF A CLUTTERED MIND IN THE NEWSPAPER.

SO I GUESS I WILL FIND OUT VERY QUICKLY. OH WELL - NOT WORTH IT TO BE SOMEWHERE NO ONE RESPECTS WHAT I THINK. :(

And just to let you all know I voted for Tannehill. I'm to see that Tannehill got more votes than Kaepernick, RG3, and Wilson. It shows you that the Dolphin's problem is not quarterback. It's receivers. Though I'm not sure why it's so heavily skewed in Luck's favor. He not THAT good.

I'm glad to see Tannehill got more votes

Anti,

Potter87 is correct, this is a good blog, you should't post such filth, you should be ashamed.

repent.

Collins went to Arkansas because R.S. went there to coach, There are other So Fla kids going there too.

So Brian, so you're saying Shannon will get the guys to Arkansas... but will he develop them at all?

I'm so proud of my little boy.

Who the heck are YOU?? Are you Woodcock?

FZB - I'm serious, It's more than just repenting.

Alright All goodnight - I'll see you........ whenever I see you.

OY VEY!!!!!!!

THE UM BASKETBALL COACH A CUBANO?

wherever his ancestry originated, this guy has gone to the final four with george mason, in an amazing game against UConn, has done a good job with UM even before this year, and now has the canes really playing real basketball. jim larrinaga (?) is really a first class guy and a premier coach. anxious to see them tonight on the tube and see i reggie johnson has gotten a little more nimble near the hoop, where his 290 lbs. make him a tremendous force. kenny khadji and the cackcourt of scott (?) and shane larkin make UM a difficult team to beat as they have powerful players in both the front and backcourts. bravo to the staff that picked him and disregarded the greowing trend of hiring coaches "of color" because some guys have stated that they would only play for a "black coach". leonard hamilton and frank haith were good, perry clark was a disaster. and besides, we always like guys who tawk with new yawk accents, as jim l does. the canes, barring injury, are gonna win a couple of games in the tournament, and maybe even win the ACC tourney-no easy feat in any year, even a "down year" as trhey are calling this. methinks ther are no "down years" in the ACC.

Oye Anti,

"El Papi" sure threw you under the bus with young Mr. Potter, lol

Potter, you need to relax, Like Woodcock says, everyone has their own beliefs, you can't change anyone and I don't think you should even try, just go the flow amigo.

if you choose to leave our little corner of the world, then good luck to you kid.

By the way, you're the ONLY Lizard I like.

Someone as sheltered and horrified by the real world as yourself should not be using the internet potter. Stick to reading the good book and just run out the clock in your bedroom, what's a couple decades of life versus an eternity of bliss with J Dawg and the one god who definitely wasn't made up by ancient desert people?

Hey Kaz,

Are you a cross dresser too?..

Not that there is anything wrong with it.

Talk to me about what's going on with the U and the NCAA , they already gotnthe letter.

shadow Donovan needs to get his act together this could be his last go around in World Cup action.

I didn't realize that city in Honduras was a war zone went there once on a cruise (Roatan island off the coast) it was scenic but no doubt a seriously third world country.

I'm back overseas, last I heard they were told everything that was going to be in the NOA so they could prep their remarks and that was like a day before the NCAA pulled the plug and started investigating themselves.

UM is not helped at all by that development, they were only ever going to get scholarship reductions anyway - and they still will.

Saw they missed out on their first choice to backup Duke Johnson, need to get one of the three DTs, everything else is gravy.

voted Andrew Luck.

Me too Jimbo.

LeCog: Get a life, will you!

People pay WAY too much attention to these incoming recruits.

REMEMBER RANDY SHANNON'S NUMBER ONE RATED RECRUITING CLASS A FEW YEARS BACK?

HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.......morons!

NO one knows for sure how any of these UNTESTED players will do at the next level.

I have all the faith in the WORLD in Coach Golden.

UM has been handcuffed with the NCAA (which, of course, it trying their best to ruin UM football - UNSUCCESSFULLY, I might add).

UM cannot grab too many commits because we don't know how many the NCAA is going to take from us...so, we need QUALITY over QUANTITY!

How they will perform, NO ONE KNOWS FOR SURE....EVER!!

this one is very funny...

from now on I will refer to Jim Larranaga as Jim "El Jefe" Larranaga to honor his Cuban roots.

Hey Baby, this could be you.
