[1) It is SUNDAY, JANUARY 6. I'm already tired of Rex Ryan's tattoo but this interests me. Sexy Sofia Vergara involved in Miami nightclub skirmish, falls to floor as breast pops out of dress. NHL, players agree to end lockout: Happened early this morning. A 48-game (or perhaps 50) season is expected to begin no later than Jan. 18. Panthers fans, rejoice! The rest of you, go about your business as usual.
NFL PLAYOFFS: PREVIEW, PREDIX, POLL: Here I offer my predictions for this weekend's first round of the playoffs, which I dislike calling Wild-Card Weekend as the NFL does because half of the eight teams playing are not wild-card teams. Anyway, I like all four underdogs with the points and all four home teams, meaning one outright upset. Click on Playoff Round 1 Gems for the full version of our picks; here is a synopsis, chronologically:
FINAL: TEXANS d. BENGALS, 19-13 -- Arian Foster and big defense carry the day as Cincy held without offensive TD. Original post: Houston backing in, Cincy hotter, but Bengals last won a playoff in 1990, and Texans much more talented. Arian Foster runs big, J.J. Watt harrasses Andy Dalton. [My pick was: Texans (-4 1/2), 24-21. Playoff record: 1-0 outright; 0-1 vs. spread].
FINAL: PACKERS d. VIKINGS, 24-10 -- Aaron Rodgers was great as expected, and Joe Webb in for injured Christian Ponder doomed Vikes' upset shot. Original post: Tough to beat Gee Bees twice in a year, let alone twice in two weeks. Return of Charles Woodson big for Pack defense, and Aaron Rodgers comes up huge. [My pick was: Packers (-7 1/2), 31-24. Playoff record: 2-0 outright, 0-2 vs. spread].
FINAL: RAVENS d. COLTS, 24-9 -- Vintage Baltimore defense reminiscent of past years and a big day by Anquan Boldin carries the Crows. Original post: Lots of emotion here, with Ray Lewis facing his final game and the Chuck Pagano story. I see Lewis' return from 10 games out and the home field carrying the day. [My pick was: Ravens (-6 1/2), 27-23. Playoff record: 3-0 outright, 0-3 vs. spread].
FINAL: SEAHAWKS d. REDSKINS, 24-14 -- Thought I was looking foof at 14-0, Skins. RG3's injury didn't help. Original post: Upset! Seattle has not been a very good road team (3-5) and I'll take Robert Griffin III at home in a rookie-QB duel that should make this the game of the weekend. [My pick was: Redskins (+3), 24-23. Playoff record: 3-1 outright; 0-4 vs. spread].
Click Logic Vs. Sentiment for my Friday Page column. I rank the playoff teams 1 through 12 based on best chance to win the Super Bowl (Logic) and also based on my own Independent Rooting Interest scale (Sentiment). The column also includes my six end-of-season league awards plus my Dolphins MVP.
OK, your turn. Which team do you most hope wins the Super Bowl? I know 20 of 32 teams aren't in the playoffs, so about 63 percent of all fans including Dolfans aren't as passionately drawn. But don't fans develop a rooting interest in the playoffs even when their team isn't in it? I bet yes. Remember, this poll is not asking who you predict will win the Super Bowl. It's asking who you hope does. You can even still vote for teams that have been eliminated, if you wish. Vote and say why.
FIU RECYCLES, HIRES RON TURNER: Last month FIU and athletics boss Pete Garcia prematurely and
unwisely fired bright young football coach Mario Cristobal. Now the school introduces his replacement, Ron Turner, 59 (pictured), a college and pro journeyman coach who is seen as an offensive specialist and quarterbacks guru. My concern is that Turner hasn't coached collegiately in almost a decade, since Illinois fired him after the 2004 season. He was 35-57 in eight years with the Illini. In 2001 he was 10-2 and lost in the Sugar Bowl but apart from that didn't do much. I wonder how a 60ish guy out of the college game so long will be as a recruiter. Turner signed a five-year contract but I doubt Garcia's patience will last that long. The upside? Ron has a more normal first name than his brother, Norv.
HEAT BIG 5 @ 30: The blog loves bells 'n whistles especially of the nerdy-stat variety and so this season
we started this new one we are running throughout Heat season at five-game intervals (except we skipped @25; oops). It's a top-five cumulative ranking of the players having the biggest overall impact this season based on eight statistical categories. We continue with The Big 5 @ 30 Games (22-8, before Friday night's loss to Bulls):
Rank (@20) Player Total
1 (1) LeBron James 1,146.1
2 (2) Chris Bosh 746.5
3 (3) Dwyane Wade 703.5
4 (4) Ray Allen 475.0
5 (5) Mario Chalmers 447.7
Bubble: Shane Battier, 316.3
Poll result: Sorry, Nick. We still don't like you: I wrote this week that Dolfans should finally forgive Nick Saban, six years later, for the way he left Miami for Alabama, and asked in a poll if you agree. You didn't. Don't-forgive had 70.4 percent to only 21.5% who said forgive, with the other 8.1% undecided. So if you get booed Monday night, Nick, don't take it personally. Actually ... do take it personally.
Click back. Will be updating/adding to this latest blogpost...

Anyone but New England.
Posted by: I am Kazaam | January 04, 2013 at 10:06 AM
I could care less who wins but vote with Kazaam.
I say Atlanta takes it.
Posted by: Big Baby | January 04, 2013 at 11:44 AM
Thing that sucks is that my 10 y/o son is a Patriots fan much to my dislike he will be heartbroken.
I am still voting with Kazaam.
Posted by: Big Baby | January 04, 2013 at 11:46 AM
MVP will probably be Peyton because his team is #1 in the AFC. Should be Tom Brady if you compare what the Broncos and Patriots would be without their quarterback, Broncos are stacked.
Posted by: I am Kazaam | January 04, 2013 at 12:06 PM
I agree Brady has better numbers maybe too but he will likely be overlooked Peterson is a dark horse maybe but unlikely pick.
Posted by: Big Baby | January 04, 2013 at 12:09 PM
Kazaam have we agreed twice today?
I think that maybe happens only a few time a year.
Posted by: Big Baby | January 04, 2013 at 12:12 PM
Voted for Denver to go all the way, the Patsies also look very good.
NFC looks like the 49ers are the top team.
I actually agree with both you guys, anyone but NE, sorry Naples.
BB, you must ground your son until he comes to his senses.
Sexy Rexy is a strange bird, I don't think I would get a Taatoo of the Mrs wearing another man's jersey #..
Posted by: FZB | January 04, 2013 at 12:27 PM
Reid is in and Pioli is out in KC, can't say I'm surprised.
what I don't get is this love affair with Andy Reid, here is another coach that demands total control over personnel matters and the guy is not that good.
to me the best scenario is to let the GM pick the players (with input from the HC) and let the HC coach the team.
Posted by: FZB | January 04, 2013 at 12:35 PM
Dolphin fans stuck in the past! Perfect season, Dan Marino's records (except winning the big one) and Nick Saban! How long till you all get a life,a good football team, or a quality front office and coach!
Hey why not honor the Gators again that worked out well!!!
Posted by: Gary | January 04, 2013 at 12:35 PM
Can't do it FZB the wifey gets mad at me for ranking on his team he trash talks right back though the little bugger I lost the war but will still battle.
Rex is a strange cat surprised the owner puts up with all of that nonsense (foot fetish videos etc.) and keeps him around.
I don't think SF has a good enough offense to win a SB.
Posted by: Big Baby | January 04, 2013 at 12:38 PM
Gary,
Why would we honor a team (Gators) that lost to a HS team (Cardinals)..
its funny but rawpimple has not made an appearance since the gatar's lost.hehe
Posted by: FZB | January 04, 2013 at 12:47 PM
Only four teams have never been to the Super Bowl; Browns, Texans, Jags, and Lions. Out of those four, the Texans are the only team this year to make could climb out of that club. I'll be pulling for them.
Posted by: OC Dolphin | January 04, 2013 at 01:11 PM
There's no way that that tattoo on Rex is anything but a photoshop.
Posted by: OC Dolphin | January 04, 2013 at 01:12 PM
I think you should include the Jet's, when's the last time they made it?...1969?..
Posted by: FZB | January 04, 2013 at 01:16 PM
BB, seems to me that it's not your 10yr old who is behind a NE preference. Look to a taller human, female in gender, who may dislike all the many hours you spend obsessing over the Dolphins.
Posted by: OC Dolphin | January 04, 2013 at 01:17 PM
Oh no OC it's real.
Posted by: Big Baby | January 04, 2013 at 01:17 PM
sooo, how much "dinero" did you win/lose to the Wood's-ter?
Oye, the Lakers and the Clippers play tonight, what are the chances the Lakers make it a competitive game?
Posted by: FZB | January 04, 2013 at 01:20 PM
Then take comfort with the idea that you'll have the last laugh. Nothing is permanent, the Dolphins owned the Division for many years before the Patriots dominated the same. The pendulum will eventually swing back in our favor.
Posted by: OC Dolphin | January 04, 2013 at 01:21 PM
Right on OC way too many hours spent obsessing I need to get a life but his friends and kids at school are all fans too.
I think it's mostly that and a guy named Tom Brady.
Posted by: Big Baby | January 04, 2013 at 01:21 PM
I will have the last laugh darn it we are 1-7 versus NE in Foxborough in December during the Belichick era and have won 2 divison titles in 15 years but I demand that we will have the last laugh (crying now).
Posted by: Big Baby | January 04, 2013 at 01:27 PM
easy kids, our time will surely come, guarontee-do.
Here is an article on Ireland from espn, there are some facts that are wrong but is a good read for you haters.
http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/53525/can-the-dolphins-trust-gm-jeff-ireland
on free agency, the writer states Ireland missed on free agents Richard Marshall,David Garrard and Chad Johnson, well Garrard and Marshall got injured and Chad Johnson was signed to a vet's minimum like so many teams do and if they don't pan out they get rid of them, that statement is misleading.
he also said Ireland drafted Koa Misi over Rob Gronkowski, totally untrue, Parcells made that pick just like he made the decision in 2010 to trade back and pass over JPP and Dez Bryant.
Posted by: FZB | January 04, 2013 at 01:43 PM
OC the tattoo could be a temporary not photoshopped that's my guess if it's not then just wow.
Posted by: Big Baby | January 04, 2013 at 01:45 PM
FZB, looking forward to tonight's game. Clippers should beat them soundly, but as long as Kobe laces up basketball shoes any team with him has a chance.
The new Lakers players and coach of Nash, Howard and D'antoni, respectfully, are who I will watch. It is they who need to validate Jim Bush's Ireland'esque' stewardship.
Don't count on any optimism from me.
Posted by: OC Dolphin | January 04, 2013 at 01:49 PM
Ireland'esque stewardship ?
don't be compairing my boy to Jim Bush, he's way smarter than that clown.
Posted by: FZB | January 04, 2013 at 02:01 PM
FZB, Woodcock has either been substituted by one of those alien pods from "Invasion of the Body Snatchers," or he's made one hell of a New Year's resolution. He didn't shout down a single Asian during our play. His behavior was would have summon a response from any Cuban parent of - "Que proprio. Que muchacho tan formal."
Now, he did urinate by the 5th and 15th T-box, but heck, the guy is older than dirt and that sort of problem can be common.
Maybe he was just tired, but I did miss the insults.
Posted by: OC Dolphin | January 04, 2013 at 02:04 PM
Smarter than Jim Bush?
Unpossible.
Posted by: I am Kazaam | January 04, 2013 at 02:08 PM
Buss, but I do have a friend - Jim Bush, who I need to return a call to. Must have been thinking about him.
Posted by: OC Dolphin | January 04, 2013 at 02:10 PM
Jim is a big-time Chicago Bears fan. He was the first to warn me about Wannstedt. We've been going back and forth about Lovie.
Posted by: OC Dolphin | January 04, 2013 at 02:13 PM
I don't think is any question, that's an impostor.

Bro, we were playing golf in lily white San Clemente, there weren't any chinks to slow down the action anywhere. When we finished I was shocked that there was a negro in parking lot. I was relieved when he walked to an e class next to my car. But even with the benz I was shocked to see color in the San Clemente parking lot. I think this is really the reason that OC is leaving Mission Viejo for Texas.
Posted by: Mr. Woodcock | January 04, 2013 at 02:25 PM
Welcome back, Woodcock. You must've been sedated.
Posted by: OC Dolphin | January 04, 2013 at 02:28 PM
Rex Ryan is nothing but trailer park white trash. Him and his dopey brother Rob. But then again look who there father was. rob was a lb coach with the Pats who BB was smart enough to not make him a DC.
Big Baby- 2 conference championship in 15 yrs? You are not going to count that 11-5 season you tied the Pats, who were without Brady all year are you?
Posted by: Naples Jack | January 04, 2013 at 02:53 PM
Petterson will be the MVP this year.
Posted by: Naples Jack | January 04, 2013 at 02:54 PM
So Lakers executive vice president Jeanie Buss is to become Jeanie Buss Jackson. I wonder if brother Jim will gather enough face to shake Phil's hand after they are wed.
Don't count on it.

Headline: ON FIRST DAY, DEMOCRATS PROPOSE EIGHT ANTI-GUN BILLS
The problem with liberals and most Democrats stems from a fallacy that if we remove and govern over dangerous items then we would be doing a good thing because humans are fundamentally good.
WRONG.
Most of us may be fundamentally good, but there are plenty who are not, and even the ones who may be good would inevitably degrade and take deadly action, were self preservation enter the equation. Under societal or governmental collapse, for instance.
I would love to comprehend why it is that such clear thinking fails to penetrate liberal thinking people. Why the stubborn disbelief no matter how many times examples as the one I quote below is summarily exposed:
“That was the most asinine article I’ve ever seen,” said Walter T. Shaw, 65, a former burglar and jewel thief who the FBI blames for more than 3,000 break-ins that netted some $70 million in the 1960s and 1970s. “Having a list of who has a gun is like gold - why rob that house when you can hit the one next door, where there are no guns?
Posted by: OC Dolphin | January 04, 2013 at 03:23 PM
Kaz - You are sadly missing the point. Stop calling Christianity a religion – it is not. Secondly, I don’t want to fight, but no matter what region of the world you were born in, you can still become a Christian. There are Christian missionaries who travel to everywhere possible to help people get saved. So don’t say it doesn’t happen because it happens everyday. There are people around the world dying to find him but they can’t because they don’t know how. Research or watch Christian programs on TV and you will learn more about it. But you’ll have to be patient because most of the times they are showing sermons.
However you are right on the second part, I don’t know about the numbers you put, but you are right. Most people will be burning in hell because they will refuse to accept Jesus. The bible even says that most of or a lot of people will reject him. So to a certain extent there are people that may not be savable because God already knows they are going to hell. But the challenge is to find the ones that ARE savable.
Posted by: Potter87 | January 04, 2013 at 03:55 PM
Shadow – You don’t like Lebron James or Dwayne Wade?
- And what does THIS mean?? “a new adition to the blogsite-potter87- to whom to direct your religious queries.”
Ty Big Baby – If you say so lol
Naples Jack
- “Potter87- If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, you would be fat and diabetic!!!”
Huh?????
Posted by: Potter87 | January 04, 2013 at 03:55 PM
TY FZB – and TY I had a Wonderful Christmas. I hope yours was wonderful too :)
I respect everybody, No matter their religion, but it’s sad because they are lost. WHY are they lost? Because the Devil got kicked out of heaven for wanting to be greater than God and now he’s going around trying to keep everyone away from God (and Jesus) as possible. If someone is not a Christian with the Holy Spirit (Jesus) living inside of them, then it doesn’t matter to me what religion they are, because lost is lost. I don’t want to start a fight but I care very much that people are going to go to hell because of deception or because they refuse to believe something that their life depends on, whether they know it or not.
And the Dolphins ARE moving in the right direction. Because they won 5 games last year and 7 games THIS year. Would have been 9 if Carpenter didn’t miss the winning field goals against the Jets and Cardinals. So yes, we are going in the right direction, because they certainly are not going in the wrong direction. But, I hope they choose to get Mike Wallace or someone. He is a young player so it would almost be like a drafted player. And the Draft is important this year, because they need someone really fast that can catch the ball. Forget about “Best Available”. They need a Receiver in the first round. They need as many chances at a good receiver as possible.
I don’t know what the Dolphins record will be either. I was just saying what I expect them to do if they keep improving. Sure I can be wrong on who the beat and who they lose to, but I don’t see the Dolphins going worse than 8-8 next year. I believe they will win at least 9 games. Besides it keeps the pattern going, 5, 7, 9, year after 11?
Posted by: Potter87 | January 04, 2013 at 03:56 PM
Kaz -
“I would shave off his ginger beard, grind the hairs into a fine powder, pack the powder into pills, and give those pills to Bill Parcells' homeless newspaper friend.
What?????
Hey Andrew, I figured someone would think the wrong thing lol – I didn’t say they would go 13-3, I was just saying that if they did, I wouldn’t be surprised based on the potential they have to be great.
Kaz – If you are right, that would be awesome. There is no one on the planet that sounds better and more colorful than Ray Lewis. I wish he would just keep on going, and never stop talking lol.
Posted by: Potter87 | January 04, 2013 at 03:56 PM
Hey Woodcock – You just made me laugh pretty good :) – Don’t worry, as for the newspaper you’re safe, because that is not something I would be good at. Though, I was wondering if someone was going to think about me doing something like that lol. You make me think about taking up 2 pages in the Newspaper. I think people would get dizzy :) – But anyway, the only reason I have a lot to say, is because I don’t talk to you guys on here at night because I don’t have the chance, which is when you all answer my stuff. So it comes out as 1 long thing because I didn’t get the chance to have different things come out of me little by little one at a time after each person’s comment? I’m sorry if it looks like I’m flooding the blog, but I’m still putting fewer letters and words overall than all the main folks here :)
As for “It’s A Wonderful Life”, you said something about me going to Potterville, which I didn’t fully understand because it was missing the “s”. And I didn’t know if you were referring to that city in the movie, which was fake, because it only existed because George said he wished he wasn’t born. And then you made some comment about the movie being “It’s A Wonderful Life” and you challenged my knowing of it’s existence like I haven’t seen the movie when my comment clearly said that I saw it. So that’s why I asked you why you talked as if I didn’t’ know what you were talking about when I obviously did. That’s all.
And No, Kazaam is not Me :)
Posted by: Potter87 | January 04, 2013 at 03:57 PM
Sorry Anti – I Guess sometimes I can be bit verbal :)
Posted by: Potter87 | January 04, 2013 at 03:57 PM
QUE ?...(that means what?..for you gringos)
Posted by: FZB | January 04, 2013 at 04:05 PM
As for Today's Post - I really believe and hope the Patriots win the Super Bowl. Because them and the Dolphins are my teams.
If not the patriots I would love for the Seahawks to take on the Bengals to make a funny super bowl :)
But I think it wound be hilarious if the super bowl was RG3 vs Andrew Luck lol
And just for the record, the heat are going to win the NBA title again. All this worrying about whether the heat have it together or what not. We went through that last year in the playoffs and they came out just fine. :) I think, thanks to them, we are not having to worry about the Dolphins so much anymore because we have something else to be enjoy :) Thank you Lebron, Dwayne, and Chris for accepting less money so we could have a dynasty and take our attention away from the dolphins' struggles :)
Posted by: Potter87 | January 04, 2013 at 04:07 PM
Potter, I still like you. even if you still haven't found Rowena Ravenclaw's Diadem.

there is something wrong with this picture.
Posted by: FZB | January 04, 2013 at 04:16 PM
FZB - Yes Que means what. Though I'm not sure why you brought that up because I never saw you say that (with people asking what it means)
Posted by: Potter87 | January 04, 2013 at 04:25 PM
never mind this QUE thing, please explain how can you be a fan of the Beli-Cheaters and the Dophins?

Whoa potter you are already all over the map dude then you go admititng that you like NE and Miami?
Miami won 6 games last year not 5.
Keep trying to show Kazaam the way though that boy needs it as we all do like you say.
Posted by: Big Baby | January 04, 2013 at 04:28 PM
HAHAHAHA FZB, Yessssssssssss I Am. Its hardely a rivalry anyway. It's nothing like the Doplphins/Jets but I dont hate the Jets either. Im an AFC EAST supporter. I'm not a Jet's fan or Bills Fan but if they are in the playoffs playing some other team I will root for them to keep the trophy in the AFC EAST :)
TY OC - I like you too - But I have to ask you, Sorry I'f I Sound naive, but is Rowena Ravenclaw's Diadem, Never heard the expression. Maybe it was the schools I went to are the classes, But i will need you help :)

FZB - The Patriots don't, you're just jealous of their greatness :)
De Nada :)

Posted by: Potter87 | January 04, 2013 at 04:36 PM
hold on there, (again)...
so you are a fan of the Patsies, the Dolphins and you don't hate the facking Jets with a passion?
BB, I don't know about this guy, maybe is Dashi typing in lower case. right?
Posted by: FZB | January 04, 2013 at 04:37 PM
What did I say too emphatically Big Baby? Just Asking - If it's not me then nevermind :)
Posted by: Potter87 | January 04, 2013 at 04:38 PM
Who's Dashi?
Posted by: Potter87 | January 04, 2013 at 04:38 PM
I am a fan of the Paties, Especially Tom Brady, I even have his Jersey :) and I like Hernandez, Being one of the best TE's to come out of Florida. He was fun to watch as we tore up Ohio State and Oklahoma with Chris Leak and Tim Tebow, the Greatest College Football Player ever :)
Posted by: Potter87 | January 04, 2013 at 04:42 PM
Ooohhh, I get it now..
your a lizard, not that there is anything wrong with that, no wonder you're a little confused.
no matter, in my book you lose your Dolphin man card if your a fan of the Patsies and the Dolphins and root for the facking Jets (even one time).
Dashi is another of our distinguished blogger's, good guy but just a little confused from time to time, no offense meant, I like you.
Posted by: FZB | January 04, 2013 at 04:48 PM
Potter hasn't read the book "How to Win Friends and Influence People".
Posted by: Big Baby | January 04, 2013 at 04:50 PM
By the way, you should talk to Woodcock, he loves Tebow too.
Posted by: FZB | January 04, 2013 at 04:50 PM
I like you too FZB
And yes I thought you KNEW I was a lizard from a previous comment a week or so ago.
And just to let you know I've still been a Dolphins fan longer than I've been a Patriots fan. I've been a Dolphins fan since I first know about football and the NFL. I didn't used to like the Patriots very much due to playing against them, and I didnt like Tom Brady at all. But for whatever reason about 2006, Them and Tom Brady just started to grow on me and I became a Patriots fan. But I was still rooting for the dolphins to beat them. Unfortunetly now I seem to find myself conflicted lol - so when the Patriots and Dolphins play now I get frustrated lol
Posted by: Potter87 | January 04, 2013 at 04:56 PM
5 billion people. 5,000,000,000. 71% of the people on this earth will burn in hell forever through no fault of their own.
You, Potter87, would be a Muslim if you had been born in Afghanistan. Just like you have the opportunity to convert to Islam now, you'd have the opportunity to convert to Christianity then.
It should be self evident why that rarely happens.
Posted by: I am Kazaam | January 04, 2013 at 04:59 PM
Well thats great to know FZB TY - Maybe we have a nice Tebow Kumbyaa conversation lol
Big Baby I know how to win friends and Influence people, why do you think that. but I don't care if you like the patrtiots, Well just storm over everyone in our path :)
Posted by: Potter87 | January 04, 2013 at 05:00 PM
Well Kazaam - Maybe thats true based on some stat. Unfortunately I'm afraid that that number is going to be higher.
You're right I would be if I was born in Afghanistan, but I'm so thankful that I'm not. Be people in afghanistan are becoming Christians. Unfortanetely, they get killed when the wrong people find out because they hate christian.
I suppose I could convert to Islam but there is no way on this earth I would do that. but If I did I would still be christian because the Bord will never leave me nor forsake me, you could stop being islam if you wanted to because you cannot stop being Christian. That is why I say Christianity is not a religion, is because a religion is what you do and what guidelines you follow. Christianitly has no rules or guidelines, it is just Jesus living inside of you in the form of the Holy Spirit. There is no religion that involves some actually living inside of you. That is why its not a religion because you don't have to do anything to stay a christian you are one. You can stop being Islam, or Catholic, or Jewish etc. by your choosing but once you become a Christian you are a Christian for the rest of the life no matter what you do. That's one reason I'm suprised more people (that dont know) dont become one, just give them another way to strengthen their chances of going to heaven.

Wow Correction*****
Bord = Lord
Some actually living inside of you = Someone actually living inside of you.
Posted by: Potter87 | January 04, 2013 at 05:19 PM
And just to let you know, No Christian in the right mind would choose to stop being a christian (even if they could) and change to so fake religion. Why would you want to change from believing in and worshipping someone real, to believing in and worshipping someone fake???

Big Baby- At least there is one male in your family who knows a winner when he sees it. He was born right around the time Brady's greatness took hold. Now your wife has to be the tie breaker and my guess she is a Pats fan.
FZB- This potter87 character has to be dashi. he sounds as clueless as the dashi. If not, this guy is some 14yr old who does not watch much NFL. The guy does not know the fins won 6 games last year!! An AFC east fan!! Likes both the Pats and Dolphins? I can see liking a NFC, and AFC team.

OK Naples you need think before you speak. I'm not 14 years old. I am 25 for your information. I have no clue who "dashi" is. I have never seen anyone with that name according to my recollection. Why would some idiot change his name to some randon name. Mine is original, At least to me. I've been watching Football ever since I was a kid. So I saw Dan Marino's last few years. And who cares if the Dolphins won 5 or 6 games. either way they still stunk. I forgot the exact number. I have more of life to sit here and memorize numbers. Unless they go 16-0 or 0-16 it doesn't matter no me what their record was. So don't accuse me of being someone else and don't accuse of being young and naive kid.
Who cares if I like both the Dolphins and the Patriots. I also like the Seahawks, Panthers, and Buccaneers. I'm not a fan of them but I still like them. So who cares.
Anyone who worries about exact numbers or what teams people are supposed to or not supposed to like either has nothing better to with their life or like being way to critical of other people.
So Chill Naples. I'm just a new and different regular that you will get used to :)

Just as I suspected, Watson. The 25 accounts for the 87 portion of his name. Now I suspect him might be that Salvation guy who posts here from time to time.

French citizens are suddenly leaving France, estimated at a 500 percent clip over last year. They are leaving to places like Switzerland, Luxembourg, and the United Kingdom, where taxes are at 20 percent, as compared to 85 percent in France.

The only people that are going to stay in france are the muslims...is all part of the master plan by that dude allah...

Ron Turner? You've got to be freaking kidding me. Wow, I can't believe they got rid of Cristobal to bring in this fish. Hey Trust Fund, did your commie aunt have anything to do with this disaster? Another hick from French Lick. What is it with Miami teams constantly hiring Midwest losers. This fat ass is going to melt here in the summer. Good luck fish, all my FIU buddies who bought season tickets for FIU when Mario was hired and that bitch Shalala moved the U to JRS have all decided to turn in their season tickets. And the screw ups just keep on coming.

Oh boy, Potter, I just read your post about being a gaytor fan. Too bad son and I was starting to like you. After admitting that you're a gaytor fan, your new blog nickname is......."Flounder."
Flounder, you're going to get along with Trust Fund just great.
Oh boy, another fish.

Tell you what, Dashi. Laker Nation will trade you Mike D'antoni for Spolestra anytime you can swing the deal.
Posted by: OC Dolphin | January 05, 2013 at 02:22 AM
Spoelstra
Posted by: OC Dolphin | January 05, 2013 at 02:23 AM
Observations about the kind of game D'antoni coaches just don't come from couch potato bloggers like yours truly. Here's an astute take from Magic Johnson, and I paraphrase:
"D'antoni has Gasol positioned away from the paint, out there around the three point line. The guy guarding Gasol is Blake Griffin, who after Gasol clanks a three runs just two or three paces to catch an outlet pass for a rim rattling slam dunk. What he should do is just the opposite. Place Gasol deep inside the paint to make it more difficult for Blake or Jordan to run unimpeded."
Then you've got a Stephen A. Smith pointing out that D'antoni is fixed about having every team he coaches run his system, as opposed to "developing" a game to fit the players in his team.
Mike D'antoni and Jeff Ireland must be related.
Posted by: OC Dolphin | January 05, 2013 at 02:42 AM
OC,
Hey man that's not nice..saying that D'antoni and my boy Ireland are related...
I like the name SPOLESTRA better.

Nah, Pops!!
And Dashi is More Complex!! I Know You Want Dashi To Be Somebody Else! But Remember Dashi Loves His Name So Much!! He Even Talks About it!!
And My Religious Views!! Are Unique! One Of A Kind!! Plus, I Know Christianity Is A Religion! They Worship A Idol!! JESUS CHRIST!! To Be A Religion! You Have To Idolize Something! Or Someone!! Dashi Idolises No Man!! Dashi Believes In Himself! Dashi Believes In God!
What's Up FZB!!!
Time For Me To Start Making My Way Back To The Greg Cote Blog. Football Season Is Officially Over For Dashi!!
Good Season!! For It Being A Evaluation Season and All. Now The Real Fun Begins!! Ireland Time!! The Most Important Offseason of Ireland's Career!!
P.S. Naples- Dashi has said it Before I was Born The Year Marino Went To The Superbowl!! So Yes! Dashi has Never Seen Perfection! Or My Dolphins Go To The SuperBowl!! So, If Somebody Wants To See The Fins Playing in Early February!! It's Dashi!! At Least You have The Memory Of The Fins Winning!!
Still Doesn't Mean You Know More Football Than Me!! Just That You Have Watched The Game Longer!!
Cut Dansby!!
Fire Spo!!
And O.C., D'antoni Might Not Want To Change His System!! But At Least He Is More Competent Than Spo!! Spo Has No System To Change!! And His Lineups Are Horrendous!!
Worst Rebounding Team In The League!!
Yeah, Keep Saying Battier can Play PF!! And That JA Is A Center!! The Heat Are Cotton Candy Soft!! And That Is All On Spo!!
Riley, Coached Tough Hard Nosed Teams! Sometimes a Little Dirty!! That Played Defense!! Riley Also Knew Size Matters In The NBA!! You need Big Guys Controlling The Paint!!
The Heat Have The Players!! They Just Need A Better Coach!!
Spo Should Be The Only Coach Fired After Winning A Title!! Cause We All Know He Didn't Win It!! Lebron and Wade Won The Title!! With Help From Money Mike!!
Cut JA!!
Fire SPO!!
Posted by: Dashi | January 05, 2013 at 12:08 PM
Cut Joel Anthony to get bigger and improve rebounding. The Heat have the players. Dexter Pittman?
Go Cincy and Minny.
