Alabama 42, Notre Dame 14: ROLL TIDE! 'Bama, Saban continue reign!; plus Ross' Dolphins promise, Arison's Heat Tweet, NFL playoffs & more

[1) It is MONDAY, JANUARY 7. Welcome to Championship Day in South Florida. 2) Heat today waived Josh Harrellson. 3) Join us on Twitter @gregcote]

Click on Big -- Even For Us for my column today advancing the Tide-Irish title game. I write of the history of Greater Miami hosting games on sports' biggest stage, and how this ranks.

ROLL TIDE!: ALABAMA, SABAN REIGN AGAIN!: Crimson Tide crush Fighting Irish, 42-14. Alabama completely dominated Notre Dame tonight at Dolphins stadium, leading early and once up 35-0 before the Irish made the score seem less lopsided than it really was. Eddie Lacy (140 yards rushing) was the game's MVP. My vote went to QB AJ McCarron (four TD passes).

1aa1bcsALABAMA-NOTRE DAME: YOU MIGHT WANT BOTH TO LOSE, BUT ONE HAS TO WIN: We asked back in early December, when this matchup first was known, which team you hoped would win, and 60.2 percent voted Notre Dame. Now let's take the hope out of it and find out which team you 1aa1aland2predict will win. Not against the spread, just straight up. Who'll reign as champion at Dolphins stadium around midnight tonight? I doubt Irish or Tide fans can vote dispassionately, so I'm counting on those who don't have a rooting interest or who hate both equally to step back and be steered by mind, not heart. You have $100 to place on either team winning outright. Where's your money go?  Vote and say why.

Crystal championship trophy traces roots to Miami: The Waterford crystal trophy Alabama or Notre Dame will win tonight traces to South Florida. The UM Sports Hall of Fame informs us the locally based Gerrits Foundation teamed with the UPI Coaches Poll to create the trophy in 1986. The foundation was formed by three Gerrits brothers (all UM graduates) to honor their father, Edward, who founded Gerrits Construction here in 1945. The family affiliation with the trophy ended in 1990, but the trophy itself endures.

OWNER SPEAKS: ARISON TWEET TWEAKS SPOILED HEAT FANS: Heat owner Micky Arison's Sunday Tweet: When did being 1st in the East at the beginning of January become not good enough for some @MiamiHEAT fans? Hmm. I get Arison's point. First is first. It's harsh if you look at team's record and see disappointment first. Arison must appreciate fans' concerns, though. Lack of rebounding has been a real issue, and two or three teams in the West seem capable, at this point, of beating Miami.

OWNER SPEAKS II: DOLPHINS' ROSS VOWS TO OPEN WALLET: Owner Stephen Ross held his season-wrapup news conference today and promised, "I don't care what it costs. I'm willing to do whatever it takes" to build a winner. Ross said he believes in draft above free agency but won't hesitate to spend in the latter of right players are there. Ross also reiterates his belief that Miami has the "right guys" in coach Joe Philbin and QB Ryan Tannehill. Said those are any team's two most important ingredients, adding, "I think we have them."

NFL PLAYOFFS: ROUND 1 AND LOOKING AHEAD: The weekend's four wild-card games were a letdown, decided by 6, 14, 15 and 10 points. None came down to an exciting finish. The only real drama was A) 1aa1lewisr 1aa1rg3the likely home farewell of Ray Lewis (left) in Baltimore, and B) Mike Shanahan's handling of Robert Griffin III's (right) knee injury at Washington. Doubt it would have changed the result, but Shanahan would have served RG3 -- and his team -- better by putting in a healthy Kirk Cousins sooner. Looking ahead to next weekend and the Final Eight, the initial gut feeling is that the two AFC games are easy picks but that the two NFC games are toughies. Broncos over Ravens and Patriots over Texans seem clear calls for the home teams. Packers-at-Niners and Seahawks-at-Falcons will require some deeper thought.

Updated Super Bowl odds: New from Bovada, the numbers bear out what I said above regarding the next round of games. Updated SB odds: Broncos 11-4, Patriots 7-2, 49ers and Packers both 6-1, Falcons and Seahawks both 7-1, and Texans and Ravens both 18-1.

Poll result: Broncos, Ravens the fan favorites: We asked in the previous blogpost which of the 12 playoff teams you most hope wins the Super Bowl, and the three to draw double-figure support were the Broncos (21.6 percent), Ravens (17.8) and Seahawks (11.8). That's the power and popularity of Peyton.

1aa1bessdBESS CITED FOR TECHNIQUE: Davone Bess is the only Dolphin honored among 26 NFL players on USA Football's 2012 All-Fundamental Team for "exemplary football techniques for youth players to emulate." Didn't even know the team existed, but a neat little honor for Davone.

No matter who wins, the biggest loser -- even more so than the loser of the game -- is the University of Miami. On their home field, in their town, basically a free recruiting trip for Saban and Kelly. And who would you want to play for? Saban, Kelly, or the used car salesman with a hideous tie?

Kazaam did you stuff the ballot box for the Ravens?

Not sold on the Broncos Peyton's arm strength may never be back to 100 percent I think it's around 80.

I have Atlanta winning the whole thing they have to get over the hump sometime right?

Couldn't give a rat's as* who wins that college game tonight.

Wouldn't bet any $$ on either ND or Ala too close to call. Love to see ND beat Saban & Tide though. Cheering for Golden Domers while enjoying my favorite brew.

More than a few people had noticed that RG3 wouldn't have a very long shelf life the way Shanahan was using him. Similar to Johnson rushing Yatil Green back into action.

The Irish in me says "GO IRISH"
The Devil in me says "GO SABAN"
What I'am I to do???

The guy with the ugly tie....he's coming, his team is coming and Hell is coming with them! Get your licks in now, sucka!

Truthteller, lmao!

Anti, root for ND in the first half, the Tide in the second, or vice versa. The more beer you consume during either half should win.

btw, Anti. I'm sure it goes without saying that your beer preference must surely come right out of Oceanside, just south of me, and one of my favorites.

http://s3.amazonaws.com/user-beer-photos/beer_photos/84554/stone-arrogant-bastard-ale.jpg

Truthteller,

It most be really hard for you going through life with a Kindergaten education...are you a Lizard?..if you are then that explains your stupid comment.

Jimbo, thanks for posting that report on the Dolphins and the draft, muy "interesante"..I wonder how the guys will react if the Dolphins went ahead and drafted the Alabama OG in the first round, hehe

I think their heads will explode !!

Anti, why are you stressing over this, Roll Tide!, I'll go back to hating Saban tomorrow.

BB, there is nothing else to watch tonight, you might as well take a look-sie...Unless you have Netflix.

Cote- Get your facts straight. As far as payton goes, it is not the power and popularity that make him a favorite. Its the fact that dolphin fans are sick of seeing Brady and the Pats kick there ass in year in and year out!! More about hate and envy my friend.

Barry Jackson said it best; if the dolphins take Chance Warmack, the fans will storm the facility with torches and pitchforks.

I hope Ireland does it just so he gets fired faster.

Yes with Cote being a self admitted "admirer" of the Patriots I am not surprised that one went right over his head.

I don't mind at all if NE makes it to the SB Naples.

Watching them become the first team to possibly lose 5 Superbowls might be worth it.

OC, Next time I'am down in the Valley I'll look for that beer, It has a striking resemblance to a certain coach in the the Boston area.
Bottoms up..

Naples,

I don't hate on your boy Beli-Cheater...I just think he got very lucky and took the credit for Pioli drafting Brady which turned out to be a once in a lifetime player, if it wasn't for that he never would have won any SB's and would have been fired a couple of time already.

Andrew,

lets just say that the Dolphins go into free agency and get G Jennings and D Bowe in free agency and let's say Jake Long leaves creating a hole on our offensive line, don't you think it would make a great deal of sense to draft either a guard or tackle with our first to protect our young QB?

drafting an Offensive Lineman or DE/LB pass rusher makes a lot of sense specially since there are no stud WR's or CB's in this years draft worthy of the 12th selection.

FZB, I Wont shed a tear if long left, He was being OWNED the few games I saw before his "Injury", BTW, Your son better not F@ck this draft up..
I'am putting this all on you..:)

lol, noted Anti,

I'll make sure my boy Ireland doesn't fack this one up.

I know Baby will not agree with me here but if its me I'll let Hartline walk (it probably won't happen) and I'll go after G Jennings and one or two TE's in free agency and draft a young receiver with one of our second's.

just our luck that that clown Vontae (I wanna call my grandma) Davis cost us a sixth rounder because he was hurt most of the year and didn't play enough, now we only have 9 picks in the draft.

Mr. Ross says we are heading in the right direction and we have the HC and the QB in place, I happen to agree with him, I would also add we have the GM in place too but I don't want to start a blog riot today.

When you're a non-playoff team you better make sure that whoever your top free agent pick/s, AND your first round draft pick starts for your team in the next campaign. Only top rated teams have the luxury to add depth, or develop a selection.

$70 a year? Suck a bag of d*cks Miami Herald.

FZB you might have started a riot by suggesting that we draft an OL in the first.

And how in the world are we going to get Jennings and Bowe that sounds like a complete pipe dream when it somes to $$$.

Resign Hartline get one of those guys (or Wallace) and draft a WR in the second round we will be have transformed our putrid offense at that point.

No idea what happens to Reggie but guess he will be too expensive with other needs to address.

The Bleacher Report link and analysis that Jimbo posted makes sense. If indeed Ireland can pull those very selections off, well then, drafting Warmack would certainly place a Pro Bowl caliber player at the starting line.

I just don't see Ireland having that kind of conviction, vision, ability, (fill in your own superlative).

BB, if you haven't checked out that Jimbo link do so. Signing both Jennings and Bowe is perhaps out of the realm of possibility, but obtaining Jennings and those other four players the analysis offers COULD open the way to drafting the top Guard. One that is rated as high as the #3 overall talent.

I'm onboard with that.

That's a "Wow, que nice!"

....geting back to what I was saying, before Anti perverted our minds, I just don't think that Ireland has the balls to pull off something like that. Not in a million years.

I can't get the article to read right on that link.

Sorry OC...
:(

Dolphins talk about building through the draft, like every team in the NFL does but when it comes down to it they're just not good enough to do it.

Hopefully they buy Mike Wallace, Jennings is an older possession guy and Bowe is a big premier receiver that the Dolphins' offense can't use.

I wouldn't be surprised if two of those receivers are franchised or re-signed.

Ireland dropped the ball by not trading for Bowe when he had the chance who knows what Reid will do with him.

Kazaam don't focus so much on who is available just hope we can get our hands on one of those players right now it's looking like Jennings.

Big Baby- If they are lucky enough to get to the SB again this year, what would that make 8 trips to the SB? Let me see, 5 total trips to the SB, 2 wins, and the last time you had your head handed to you by the 49ers. Going on 27-28 years, since they even sniffed a chance. 1 playoff win in the last 15yrs. Like I said, hate and envy.

Don't even want Jennings at a free agent price. His fine numbers are because of Brett Favre and Aaron Rogers, he's a solid possession receiver like Bess and Hartline but not a difference maker, wouldn't change how defenses approach the Dolphins.

Wallace would definitely be a game changer.

I don't like the 'should have picked player X over player Y' examples but Egnew over Hilton was egregious.

I nominate Anti for Blogger of the day !!!

Mama mia !!!

Ok, back to regular schedule program, yes I know BB that getting both guys would be a pipe dream but it could happen.

that article like OC said makes sense, the key is free agency, if we can help the offense with veteran WR's and Long walks we can move Jerry to RT (a position he has played before) and or keep him there and get a good tackle in the draft, the Alabama guard is a stud and there are a few worthy tackles as well, me I would not forget about a stud DE pass rusher.

If we can move back a couple of spaces it would be good too, and OC, hopefully Ireland will prove all you guys wrong. lol

Jennings is not that old, nor has he ever been just a possession guy. He was hurt this season....which is a legit concern. But, he was a huge downfield threat in 2009-2010. I'd rather have him than Bowe, though I'd prefer Wallace over either. Wallace isn't perfect but he fits the Dolphins needs perfectly.

FZB,

IF the Dolphins sign at least one talented WR in free agency AND let Long go, then yes I think you could justify taking a guy like Warmack at 12. Though, if they did that, they should probably look to unload Jerry or Incognito too.

However, assuming your scenario plays out, I still think the Dolphins would be far better served taking a pass rusher or a tight end like Eifert (even if he is a slight reach at 12) than a guard. The top half of the first round is not the place to take interior offensively lineman. They can draft a OT or a OG in the 2nd or 3rd round.

I would say they should consider drafting a CB under that scenario but unfortunately, any CB at 12 would a be a bigger reach than Eifert.

Wallace is vg but not a great route runner and a little inconsistent with bad hands at times.

We would benefit more from Bowe or Jennings in our offense not sure why you think we couldn't use Bowe he's a big strong possession type receiver also.

Let's not be silly they are all "game changers".

the situation with Wallace is a little murkier, I think the Steeler's may franchise the guy but I think Jennings will not be.

Bowe, who knows with a new coach, maybe Reid talks him into wanting to stay.

does anyone know if there will be any good TE's available in free agency?

Pro Football Focus had Incognito rated pretty well this season he's a good player.

They had Martin rated in the basement he's the guy I worry about at LT if Long leaves.

Jerry wasn't rated that high either.

I would go Eifert probably.

Hate both teams. Canes and Dolphins or GTFO.

going back to Anti's perverted post.

If young Mr Dashi and young Mr Potter87 fall off the deep end I'm blaming you for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

keep up the good work Mr Anti.

Because they dumped a top 5 receiver for Egnew and a third round pick because he didn't fit their offense or because they think their coach and/or quarterback are weak minded and can't handle a diva talent.

I choose to believe it was because they have a plan.

Bowe is a game changer but I'd be pissed at the implication if they did bring in a big feature receiver.

Jennings is a slightly better version of what they already have two of.

I think I touched a nerve with Naples.

YES!!!!!!

"Jennings is a slightly better version of what they already have two of".

Which is fine in the WC offense that would be one scary trio throw in Eifert and we will be going places.

Andrew is right too though Jennings stretched the field a lot more when he was healthy good td numbers.

Kaz, let it go already amigo, that top 5 WR would have never put up the same numbers here..He wanted out.

and Jennings is a much better version over Hatline and Bess, not even close.

big baby,
good point about delight in watching Patriots lose another Super Bowl.
OC,
excellent post @ 2:55PM. It could turn out that Miami's offensive weapon improvement is done through free agency. Drafting a top G or DE in rd 1 would be fine.

Can we trade up to get Jarvis jones or Te'o?

What makes anybody think any good wr wants to come to Miami. Does Wallace leave Ben for Tannah? Nope. Jennings is a guy who wants more money then he is worth. Plus you get his family on twitter complaining about the QB. Does Bowe leave KC for Miami, who knows. Some of you guys forget that other teams might want them. What happens if teams in the playoffs this year want them? The Jets need a WR. A lot of guys go to NYC because they can make money in ADDs, and tv.

Naples,

you need a hug buddy?...why are you so "negativo" on the Dolphins?...chill amigo.

Ross is a cluless idiot as long as he keeps little Jeffy FIRELAND employed.

Eifert is the guy in this draft to watch out for. Could be a slightly smaller Gronk.

Naples Jack that ads and tv argument is age old and untrue you can get endorsements anywhere anytime.

Money talks players usually go to the highest bidder regardless of team I know you know this watch as Welker leaves your team for greener $$$ pastures.

That's crazy what Jennings sister tweeted today though what is she thinking there was no need for that unless it indicates that he is unhappy already about not being given a new contract and he told her about it.

Why blast Rodgers though he's a great player dumb broad.

Oh boy, who's this LouSanis clown?

BB, I think some teams are going to stay away Jarvis Jones and I would not blame them...the guy is a risk (medically speaking).

2009,

Jones attended University of Southern California for his freshman year, during which he saw action as a special teams and backup player for the USC Trojans Football team. In the first eight games, he recorded 13 tackles, including 1.5 tackles for loss. During the game against Oregon Jones suffered a neck injury. He was later diagnosed with spinal stenosis and the USC medical staff would not clear him to play for the team again.[4]

[edit] 2010 seasonWhen the USC medical staff would not allow Jones to practice in the spring of 2010, Jones asked for and was granted a release to transfer. His high school coach contacted Georgia, Auburn, and Florida State to discuss the possibility with the teams' coaches. After meeting with Georgia defensive coordinator Todd Grantham, Jones underwent medical testing by the Georgia staff and was cleared to play football at the University of Georgia. He would have to redshirt during the 2010 season per NCAA transfer rules.

Jimbo, To long of a post,To much time on your hands..
May I submit to you this?????

Anti,

Its obvious were your mind is today (well, maybe everyday) but you're going to give the old farts on this blog (me included) a facking heart attack and you are contributing to the delinquency of minors (Dashi and Potter87)

hehe.

I would pick her as our Numero 1 all day..I don't any of the "muchachos" would have any objection either.

see, I'm totally incoherent, I can't even type straight anymore.

How far do the Dolphins go trying to copy Mike McCarthy's offense? Should Tannehill start making sh*tty insurance commercials?

From the bonus season that wasn't completely wasted on Garrard, it looks like Tannehill's better on the run and not a supremely accurate pocket passer. More like Roethlisberger than Rogers in style.

So the first question is whether they should even try to copy Mike McCarthy's WCO if their quarterback is clearly better in play action and moving around.

The second question is IF the Dolphins want to copy Mike McCarthy's WCO, why would they sign a player the Packers won't pay to be a feature receiver? Why don't they just draft a bunch of guys Ryan Tannehill will turn into stars like the Packers?

Of course Greg Jennings is better than anyone the Dolphins have but does swapping out Hartline for Jennings and losing Randy Starks make the Dolphins a better team? That's about the magnitude of the contract he wants.

There are other players out there that could be game changers for the Dolphins at Greg Jennings' price, Mike Wallace is one, as long as they don't send Ireland out to meet with him personally.

Sorry FZB, Somebody on another Blog said she(Eva) Was A Hairy Beatch, Just saying anyone saying she's not hot is either gay or Tom Brady, And Iam sure Tom is busy with Gissel...

C'mon those commercials are funny.

They aren't swapping out Hartline for Jennings that's pointless the goal is to get both yes it could be costly but you heard Ross today he's willing to do whatever it takes to win.

Granted that probably means losses in other areas but at this point it's the offense that is broken more than the defense GIT R DONE!

If Ireland is smart he will too his job depends on it maybe he should stay though lol!

I meant stay home for trips to visit FA's don't want to upset FZB.

Not Mendes' body in that picture.

$10-15M annually on possession receivers like Hartline and Jennings doesn't feel like a winning move to me. Those types are much easier to find than deep threats or big feature WRs.

Agree Naples if we have learned anything from Belichick it's the value of a good TE Eifert might be worth it.

Hide him deep in the back offices. Don't let his smelly ginger face see the light of day.

'Beware the beast Ireland, for he is the Devil's pawn. Alone among God's primates, he kills for sport or lust or greed. Yea, he will murder his brother to possess his brother's land. Let him not breed in great numbers, for he will make a desert of his home and yours. Shun him; drive him back into his jungle lair, for he is the harbinger of death.'

Yes Kazaam they are looking at 80-90 million at least for Hartline and (insert big time FA WR here).

Not sure they have any other option.

Don’t worry FZB – I’m Still here :) -- Beside’s I didn’t even open up the link cause I don’t feel like looking at stupidity and nonsense.

And BOY! Do I have a lot to say today :)

THE OLE SHADOW SAYS:

take the catholics and t'eo the mormon and the points and and bet the irish even. it says here that ND is faster, has enough bulk to stop the tide from running, and has golston and atkinson,jr. who are blurs on the field. also want the talkk of an alabama dynasty to stop- 3/4 is good, but dynasties such as oklahome under bud wilkinson-47 undefeated, the canes of the 80s and early 90s, and USC from 62-78 (5 titles in thos years) were not acomplished in four years. dynasties connote a length of time of which four years does not qualify.

Sandwoman – I’m A LOT brighter that Dashi. And Christianity is not a religion…… MORON!!! And I’m apparently A lot brighter than you cause First of all you can’t spell. And Second of all I have no clue what you just said with your last line. I’m not even going to bother with it.

Anti – It’s not Blasamy, By the way I think you spelled it wrong and used it in the wrong context. Anyway, I don’t believe in hating a team just because my team competes against it.

Kaz – I don’t know who ginrai is but I’ve been posting as myself. And No, my fingers will NEVER get tired. Hahahahaha. :)

BTW, I Just saw somewhere that there are approximately 1.7 billion Christians in the world. And only 37.5 percent of them live in America. 25.7% Europe, 22.5% in Africa, and 13.1% in Asia. So as far as what you say about regions, it’s not exactly true.

FZB – The Jets are my Last resort team :)

Dashi – I’m not claming who stays and who goes. I’m not sure what your talking about and what you got that from.

And you need to learn the definition of an idol. An Idol is someone or something that you worship or praise other than GOD. Jesus, being the son of god and part of God, is not an idol. If you want to know what Idolatry is go to this website.

http://www.luc.edu/faculty/pmoser/idolanon/Idolatry.html

Click on the scriptures and links to learn more. You can just click the back button to get back to the main thing, as that seems to be the only way.

Too much of anything is not good, but you may want (and need) to know there is no such thing as too much of God. You seem to have a big time LACK of God in your life.

People please don’t associate me with this fool. And now he’s trying to talk as much as me. How Cute lol.

And, Dashi, the so called “U” is not done with sanctions. That’s why they banned themselves from post season action because they know what’s coming. You’re crazy if you think the NCAA is going to let Miami get away with just 2 postseason bans after what they did. They haven’t even lost the ability to give out scholarships yet. So be prepared because the worse has yet to come. And you think Miami is bad NOW? Just wait until they can’t give out scholarships. I know a canes fan that knows that more is going to happen. This stuff doesn’t happen right away. The NCAA has a lot of work to do to figure out what has to be done about the situation. So Just be patient. It will happen.

And Lastly, You need to double check what you put so you can sound a quarter as a intelligent as I. “Fins don’t need Dexter Pitt to start”? Really? That’s like saying the Heat don’t need Brian Hartline to start. I make sure I said my stuff right so I don’t come out sounding and looking stupid.

Sure, the Heat could use Football Players. And I’m sure the Dolphins could use 6-8 Lebron James and 6-9 Kevin Durant as Receivers. Of course, that would be fun to see :)

Yes OC – Russell Wilson pulled off a beauty. However, RG3 got messed up with his injury and it killed that game at the end. One of which I was enjoying a little too much for the ending that we had to deal with. Anyway, I hope Russell Wilson takes it to the Falcons, and becomes one of the rare rookies to make it the Conference Championship game. That would be awesome :)

Luck just got out played by a determined Ravens team that wanted Ray Lewis to keep going, at least the defense anyway :) – Though he did make some bad throws and the receivers did drop some balls they should have caught so I’m not surprised at all that the ravens won and won the way they did.

Anti – Pete Carroll is 3 wins away from the Championship not 2. Seeds 3-6 have to win 4 games. Seeds 1 and 2 have to win just 3. Though that may soon be changing and all teams will have to win 4 with no advantages.

FZB – It’s not Shanahan’s fault. RG3 was not going to leave that game. It was he himself that said he was good enough to stay in. He himself said he was the best option for the team. He also made Shanahan think he was fine. Besides how can you change quarterbacks when he’s the only one you can trust in the situation? You’re in the playoffs. You can’t just put the other guy in and lose the game and be out of the playoffs.

FZB – The Jets are my Last resort team :)

Nothing smiley about that Potter it's actually sort of sad.

I don't know what ginrai is either, you're thinking about someone else's post.

And by your numbers 76% of people on earth, over 5 Billion people, will burn in hell forever because of where they happened to be born and what mythology their parents happened to teach them.

You lucked out immensely by having someone tell you a mythology that was the one out of thousands in existence that wasn't completely made up by man. You're set for all eternity, the joke's on everyone but you. No need to be defensive about it.

Yeah it is, but I was just making a point that I only root the jets when I dont see any better options.

With the ACC championship UM gave up three games, the hope is there is one or no bowl ban to come. Scholarship losses aren't good but they're not that big a deal. Having 5-10 less scholarships available every year isn't nearly as bad for recruiting as the black cloud of this prolonged investigation the past two years.

I'm going to the game, hope it's at least close, I'm glad one of those teams is going home a loser.

Have fun should be quite the scene but I think Bama wins going away.

You will get your ultimate wish of a ND loss.

oh no kaz I'm not being defensive. I'm just pointing out that you keeping missing the point of where christians are. Christianity started in the Middle East, That's where Isreal is. And then it spread to Europe and Asia (a place the Middle east is part of). You just messed up when you called it Mythology. Mythologies are fake. Christianity is real.

For sure well over 5 billion people will be burning in hell but I wouldn't be surprised if that number turned out to be more, with people saying that they are christian just because the go to church or are good people. And that's not what Christian mean.

I'm saying it's not a joke because more than 5 billion going to hell because they cant find Jesus is very sad. A lot of them it's not their fault.

I think Jesus was born in what is now known as Jordan good point Potter that region of the world is the cradle of Christianity.

Well just to finish off my day. I hope the Patriots beat the Texans, Ravens beat the Broncos, Seahawks beat the Falcons, and Packers beat the 49ers. Then I hope the Patriots beat the Ravens and the Seahawks beat the Packers. And then Of course I want the Patriots to beat the Seahawks and Win the Superbowl yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!! Tom Brady MVP!!!!!!! Life is good and I can celebrate with all you guys :) - Good Night everybody :)

Thank you Big Baby, I think you are right. He was born some where around there. But I will have to correct you. Christianity didn't start when he was born. It started after he was ressurected.

Bb, this guy is weird...

Kazaam,

the absinthe is really kicking in on "potter87/our old friend ginrai". delusional is putting it lightly.

at least somebody cares about the fundamentals of football being employed in games.

anti, nice post, of course I had to click on to it.... twice. proves my previous hunch that your a cocksucker, sorry i misread you.

did someone say ginrai? I thought the feds tracked him down into some abandoned warehouse in a Cleveland industrial site wearing a foil hat and muttering something about a Bostonian whore.

anti,
misprint in previous comment. proves my previous hunch wrong, meant to say - wrong.

Golden Domers? What about the Purple Bishops?

shadow, I like you, really like Kevin Love's game. Too bad he's susceptible to a form of Odenitis. The guy can't stay on the floor.

missed a coma there. I mean, I do like you and your posts, but what it should say is - I, like you,...

OC not to pile on ok it's to pile on but the writing was on the wall with this guy D. Howard.

Good Luck with him I am not sure that he wants to play basketball.

Potter isn't the brightest bulb on the tree FZB that Patriot talk kind of puts him on my sh*t list but he's a character could be good when things get slow if he doesn't go 100 percent dashi on us we'll see...

I called it a night after Jimmy Buss told Phil he had till Monday to decide then offered D'Antoni the job two days earlier. But don't end it there. Gasol is out with a concussion, and Hill is out with a hip injury. All three not joining the team on this roadie.

I think it was ESPN who ran a segment asking who is more than likely NOT to make the playoffs - your Celts or my Lakers. Feel free to agree with me that it will be The Lakers.

Naples you have a point regarding why receiver would want to come to Miami. I'm not sure why my heart is still in Miami. Thank Christ for this blog and it's regular, regulars.
