Friday Update: Click on Both Sides to Blame to read today's column by me on the Dolphins-Jason Taylor mess. By the way, reports out of San Diego that the Chargers may be interested in Taylor, "may be" the key phrase there. No way Miami gets a second-round pick for him. Now back to the original post:
Dolphins coach Tony Sparano revealed Wednesday that defensive end Jason Taylor would not participate in any of the team's preseason on-field activities -- including the main training camp in July. Then Sparano declined to elaborate or answer any questions about Taylor's status with the club. Read the bizarre tale by clicking here.
Reports are that this decision is Taylor's -- that he and his agent are playing hardball in efforts to force a trade to a contending club. It's a strange, sad situation, a controversy that will simmer and fester throughout the spring and summer.
Vote in our poll on this major escalation of the Taylor-Dolphins rift and share your thoughts in a comment.
[Congratulations. You made the above our 18th blogpoll to surpass 1,000 votes within the first 24 hours. Keep 'em comin'!]
Also Wednesday, the Dolphins concluded their latest voluntary microminicamp, with the entire team gathered minus the Dancin' Defensive End. Most notable other than the Taylor development: Second-year guy John Beck taking most first-team snaps at quarterback, ahead of veteran journeyman Josh McCown. A mild surprise. Rookie Chad Henne running third at this point. No surprise.
For what it's worth, someone I know very well knows someone who recently played golf with Bill Parcells. The su
bject of Beck came up. Tuna said he likes what he sees of Beck in terms of skills but needed to find out, "Does he have balls?" (Tuna's words). That means the Dolphins need to be convinced Beck is tough enough for the job and will be a leader. Do you think he is? If the club thinks so, look for McCown to carry a clipboard and Beck to run the team until which time a gradually developed Henne proves he's better.
Who'll emerge as starting QB is a major story. So is the development of Jake Long on what seems a greatly improved offensive line. So is the continuing need for help at receiver and in the secondary. So is the running back mix with Ricky Williams' latest comeback and Ronnie Brown's return from injury.
But all pale now compared to the continuing and now heightened drama over Jason Taylor's clouded future with the club. Weigh in.

Beck starting? I'll believe it when I see it!

I’ve already stated my opinion on the Taylor situation but let me add this. Last season I was at the Jets-Dolphins game at the Meadowlands, great seats 5th. Row 20-yard line. What I got to witness close up was the most out of shape group of professional athletes I’ve ever seen. Between each play and during timeouts all they did was put their hands on their hips and gasp for air, and this was in the second quarter and Taylor was as bad as the rest. So I was really glad when they began the conditioning program and Taylor should have been there. I have to ask how great of shape does gliding across the dance floor with some babe get you in. If that really works maybe we should sign the babe also. If Taylor doesn’t play up to expectations he will find himself on the bench, then see what the columnists will be saying.
As far as Beck maybe starting, I say if he is getting the grooming to be an NFL Quarterback that he didn’t get last year, it could happen and I wish him luck.

fellas,
i thought it would be a couple of gameswith mcnown as the QB before john beck took over. i am not surprised that he has the job, only that he got it in training camp, which doesn't say much for old josh. chad henne will need to show it on the practice field and wilneed a full season if he is to take over, barring injury. the mess that beck was thrown into last year was unfortunate, and the shadow thinks that with a year of practice and a few games under his belt, he will be able to lead the dolphins adequately- and adequate was not what they got from the QB position last year!!
Posted by: the shadow knows | May 21, 2008 at 02:05 PM
According to Sparano, Jason Taylor will not attend any of the team's minicamps, organized team activities (OTA) or training camp.
I guess that means he's retiring or being traded. So what?
Posted by: Tom | May 21, 2008 at 02:46 PM
I just want to wait and see what happens at QB. I'm so burned out on hoping we have the next franchise QB that I just want to be happy when it happens.
Posted by: David Tucker | May 21, 2008 at 04:05 PM
Tom,
You still think the Taylor/Tuna thing is an illusion? Media contrived?
Posted by: OC Dolphin | May 21, 2008 at 04:11 PM
Yeah I do OC. You really think JT is holding out because the Tuna disrespected him? Bullshit. This has nothing to do with the Tuna. It's all about what JT wants to do. He wants to be traded. The Tuna could be kissing his ass from Miami to LA and that would change nothing. JT wants out and who can blame him. He wants to win NOW which the Fish are not going to do. If they can get value for him, I've been saying since day 1 that they should trade him. If not, let him retire. I doubt he will but who cares? I don't. After a long holdout (all preseason) if he is still a Dolphin he'll be lining up for us on opening day. There are 8 million reasons why I believe that to be so.
As far as I'm concerned, I could care less. No matter what happens this year, JT will be long gone when this team is competing for a championship.
Glad to see we can still find something to disagree on.
You know what OC? You suck, just kidding.
Posted by: Tom | May 21, 2008 at 05:00 PM
Beck starting is kind of a no brainer, why in god's green earth would a journey man like McCown get the first shot at starting? In order to give the veterans like Jason Taylor a shot at winning now? LOL. Beck starts the preseason if he moves the ball at all and keeps the INT.'s to a minimum he starts the opener, rinse, wash, repeat until he either earns the job full-time with some quality play (which I happen to think he will, he's very accurate and has a strong enough arm) or he plays his way to the bench and McCown or Henne get the next crack at it. This is just logical and the new Dolphin management is clearly operating from logic (thank god!). As for Taylor, he's always seemed like a "paper tiger" to me, a real talent to be sure but not a "hall of famer" by any means (try making a tackle against the run occasionally and try making your teamates better). Getting some value for him would be nice but doubtful at this point. Expect him to eventually sign with: the Chargers, the Jets/Giants, 49ers, Raiders, or possibly the Patriots (if he's really serious about winning, which I doubt). In other words as close to the entertainment industry as he can get. Losing the passion of Zach Thomas will in time be seen as the bigger loss but the transition that the Tuna is making is happening so fast and will be so thorough and relatively successful that "losing" anyone from last years team will become pretty insignificant quickly. Good to see you actually putting some content in your blogs lately Cote, keep it up!

Tom- Jason Taylor, the Tuna, and 40-45 players, will be gone by the time the dolphins are competing for a championship. This is the tunas MO. He has to show everybody he is the boss. A team that was 31st. in defense last year, and he wants to get rid of his best player. Reminds me of his days in Foxboro. As much of a control freak belichick is, he never had player problems like this guy.
Posted by: naplesjackpatsfan | May 21, 2008 at 05:43 PM
All I have to say at this point is that I'm VERY pissed that everyone is now blue. This is bullshit man! That was mine! And it took me forever to figure this type thingy out, I'm anything but a pointy headed techie.
But, I now REALLY wonder why I was blue before, because contrary to what a couple of you suggested in the past, I never had one of those accounts. Just did it a few minutes ago.
Posted by: Dave in VA | May 21, 2008 at 06:07 PM
Can we forget about the JT thing already?
Is this because there is no news other than boring OTA stuff?
This is a new era with or without JT. If he plays, great. If not, well, I appreciate his play for the last decade and I hope he has success in whatever he does.
Besides, I'm going to miss Zack more.
Posted by: oscar_g | May 21, 2008 at 07:38 PM
Typical. You all said not to make much of it, media hype, no story, JT's gonna be okay. Well well well.......
Now , you want to forget Taylor - or force him to retire. Good riddance to your best player. Typical sheep.
Still going 10-6, Flipper?
Posted by: Kurt | May 21, 2008 at 08:34 PM
Kurt, don't be a shlong. Who gives a f*ck, the Dolphins are re-building. I love JT as a player, but am not going to lose a minute of sleep over this "drama".
He's either here next year or he isn't. I personally don't give a f*ck to hear another speculative comment about it from anyone on this earth. We'll see week one, and then, I still won't give a f*ck.
Anyone want a shot of Don Julio?
Posted by: Dave in VA | May 21, 2008 at 08:44 PM
Dave in VA,
jason taylor is acting like an idiot- is this the conduct of a team leader? this guy is a hall of fame putz who ought to try dancing his way into canton, as his football playing ain't worthy of a bust in ohio and the yellow jacket.
Posted by: the shadow knows | May 21, 2008 at 08:58 PM
Hey Dave (in VA),
we allbe in blue now- good to be on your team.
Posted by: the shadow knows | May 21, 2008 at 08:59 PM
I cannot believe the positions you two are taking here. Shame on you, shadow. Not putting any blame onto Parcells and then stomping all over JT?
Man, watch out - if NE has any shot at getting him, your Dolphins are in for it.
Posted by: Kurt | May 21, 2008 at 09:07 PM
Even without Taylor, we can't be any worse than last year.

Awesome online football game. It is more of a simulation type game but is being tested for free. Check it out, you can create players and then run their careers. From training to contract negotiations. Then there is a simmed game every other day.

Kurt,
when the dolphins' best player decides that he is not participating in any july practices (and yes it is hot) and declares that by dancing he is in the best shape of his career, well, let us see if he can foxtrot or cha-cha around the league's offensive linemen when it counts. if he is doing theses stunts to force a trade to a "contender", let's see how the dolphin faithful regard their hero then.
Posted by: the shadow knows | May 21, 2008 at 10:40 PM
I'm the 10 and 6 guy and I am standing by my prediction. I hope that Flipper will agree as we get deeper into training camp and pre-season...
I am observing a night and day difference from the circus we saw last year. The more I watch Sparano and Ireland the more I understand just how bad Camoron and Mueller really were.
I know I predicted Henne would be the starter and I still say it is possible baring one thing.
Parcell's wants a QB with BALLS and I have to admit that if Beck can show that he does have a set. he will get the start and he has the arm and accuracy to do a little damage. Ether way McCown will be our veteran insurance policy.
In the heat of the battle last year Beck did the best he could all thing's considered.
I am a JT fan!! That being said. 2 thing's are fueling all of this.
1) The Media as always has turned Jason's desire to go to Hollywood into an epic battle between him and the Tuna. Maybe some truth and definitley a lot of enhanced writing to sell papers.
2) All the hype has now became an issue because somebody said something to somebody that has pissed the Tuna off. Not a good situation.
What needs to happen> Tuna and JT need to have a heart to heart and what ever the outcome it has to come quickly and end all of this. In public and in front of the media.
Lastly watching todays OTA I saw a lot of players compete and have fun together as a unit. A very good sign. Ronnie and Ricky both looked good and I can see the makings of a bigger more bruising version of David Meggett and Otis Anderson.
NUFF SAID!! Cheers Brothers
Posted by: Frank | May 21, 2008 at 11:03 PM
I predict one other thing.... Hell will freeze over before Jason Taylor puts on a Patriots Uniform. If traded he will got to New Orleans or Philly... Far away from the AFC East......and the AFC all together...

the shadow blows,
you are a scum for taking a shot at Kennedy.
Posted by: the bostonian | May 22, 2008 at 07:18 AM
Tony Sparano/Bill Parcells- Trade Jason Taylor to the Giants for Jeremy Shockey. Jeremy wants out of NY and has good years left in him plus he trains in Miami and should be around. He is a home town UM boy and lots of the fans love him. Bill's no nonsense approach could keep Jeremy in check, and he would open up the offense. Jason gets his wish as the Giants will be contenders with him and that would help Michael Strahan stay around for another year or 2.

You're coming around my friend. I couldn't agree more. Who the f*** cares what JT does or does not do? In the longterm it's irrelevant. Let's move on. Trade him if you can, but let's just move on.
How many rings does he have? I'm waiting....zippo!
Eggzactly. He's a good player, but his presence got us nothing in the past. He will not be part of the ultimate solution here.

I really like the idea someone mentioned, trade Taylor for Shockey even up and be done with it.

Taylor for Shockey. I'd do that all day and twice on Sunday.

Finally found my way in this bloody website Cote! You thought you could keep out all the riff raff but I slipped through the noose. So what are ground rules in this Brave New Cyberworld? How filthy can I be while interacting with all my friends, enemies and those that don't give a S*** about me one way or another without being charged with indecency or sued? By the way I would rather go WHITE than Blue. Wouldn't that be interesting. Bostonian I meant to send you my condolences regarding Ted Kennedy. I nreally have no strong feelings for the man one way or another but you seem to. I'm more of a Nixon man myself. JT send him to Indianapolis for Marvin Harrison. Neither are spring chickens but both could help respective teams. Plus Harrison already has a ring...

Posted by: raoul duke | May 22, 2008 at 02:48 PM
Tom, Shockey is never on the field. He's an aggressive pain in the a** and a "specimen" but durabilty is a concern.

Hey look who's back! Now all we need to do is send instruction manuals over to Colorado and Coral Gables.

Dave in VA--I think I have figured you out, ever since I've been blue I have been awfull thirsty.
Posted by: N.J. John | May 22, 2008 at 03:07 PM
raoul duke, Shockey is 27 and miles better than any other receiver we currently have. Durability is an issue with Shockey, but durability is irrelevant for a player who is not going to play like JT.
Posted by: Tom | May 22, 2008 at 03:11 PM
John, waking up in the morning makes me thirsty. It's beer:30 right now, I'm going home.
Glad to see you figured this thing out raoul, it kicked my ass too. And by the way, Bostonian has no feelings for Kennedy or anyone else. Fuk 'em.
Posted by: Dave in VA | May 22, 2008 at 03:30 PM
Tom,
there is no way. No way something like that goes down. naplesjack is correctly all over this issue. Parcells reminds me of the guy back in high school who would walk up to the enemy's #1 tough guy and coldcock him. He has done this sort of thing everywhere he's been. He would welcome Shockey in like he would welcome Keyshawn out of retirement, or TO, or ocho cinco, or any other Alfred E. Newman type with egos matching that of his own.
This whole rift started the moment Parcells signed on the dotted line and pondered who still represented the old Dolphins. Who would be the big bully he could coldcock and run out of town.
The ends justifying, and all that. So as a fan, we must be supportive of the bigger picture. Don't know about you, but my experience is that this Ming-the-Merciless style goes nowhere when trying to forge any kind of loyalty within an organization.
Posted by: OC Dolphin | May 22, 2008 at 04:00 PM
From the desk of
Mr. Dwane Charles Parcells:
Dear Ricky,
Hey, are you free for some pizza again. Listen, I just invented some excuse which had me meeting with that dancing fool - so now I'm free buddy. How bout six'sish over at Joey's?
Posted by: OC Dolphin | May 22, 2008 at 04:10 PM
the bostonian,
A) you started this with "taking a shot" at me regarding "riffraff", which you still haven't addressed, probably because you lack the testosterone to admit that "riffraff" is the preferred spelling; and
B) no shots were taken at the ailing senator- the only brain i mentioned as being malfunctional is yours; and
C) "You are scum" is what you should have written to me, as "scum'is a noun in the manner of "mud" or "heat"- collective nouns which cannnot be modified into the singular by the use of the definitive article "a".
while i disagree with most of what ted kennedy has done or stood for (when he is able to stand, which Please G-d will be soon) i wish for him what i wish for everyone with a condition: a speedy and complete recovery. your condition is ignorance, for which there is no medicine, but there is treatment- called reading.
Posted by: the shadow knows | May 22, 2008 at 04:11 PM
I really believe this saga is more on Taylor than the Tuna. I think it all started when Zach was traded to the Cowboys and it is more of a personal thing for JT. Add that to the fact that he does want to play in a bigger media city for his future endeavors. Really let him go, he would be of no use to us from this point on, take whatever can be gotten in a trade.
Posted by: N.J. John | May 22, 2008 at 04:21 PM
OC Dolphin,
MING THE MERCILESS!!! charles middleton did a great job with that deadpan punim wreaking havoc on buster crabbe as flash gordon. with Mr. Harry Lime, Ming, and the shadow, we are paying homage to the halcyon days of the overlap of radio shows morphing into movies. let's have more- you out there, bulldog drummond?
Posted by: the shadow knows | May 22, 2008 at 04:28 PM
Damn the blog is getting good again. OC is taking another outrageous position that I get to pick on. Last year it was, "let's keep Cam for at least another year." This year it's "let's run the Tuna out of town because he's Ming-the-Merciless."
Breaking news OC, the Tuna with his Ming-the-Merciless style has won everywhere he's been. F*** relationships, I want to win.
Regarding Shockey you're probably right, but that doesn't mean "I" wouldn't want Shockey. I would much prefer Shockey than JT.
shadow it's about time you called out that nitwit, the losertonian that is.
Posted by: Tom | May 22, 2008 at 04:37 PM

i prefer not to get into it with that schmuck, but he makes it so inviting to respond to his absurdly weak jabs with solid right crosses; boxing doesn't get much mention here so i thought i'd use a pugilistic metaphor.

Posted by: oscar_g | May 22, 2008 at 05:33 PM
Tom, don't leap too far off the equation from my post.
Just because BP ≠ JT, it is incorrect to assume that OC ≠ BP.
OC does = BP, but not when BP's π hole is shut when JT is present.

Dave in VA you're so direct my man regarding your 3:30pm post as are you shadow lol. goddamn it feels great to be back on here. Don't know why my "security clearence code" was not being accepted. Thought it was personal or that Cote was afraid his hits would go down if I found my way back on here. Anyway Tom regarding Shockey is intriguing from the stand point he'll have Hannibal Parcell's in his head which could make a difference. Also he won't need to come to Miami in off season to "train with his friends" as he'll already be here likely being coerced into attending whatever kind of off season conditioning program Tuna "invites" him to participate in. Actually I say we trade RW and JT to Oakland for McFadden. Bostonian you do have a way with people. A most unusual way but a way nonetheless.

Vodka!? Ever since those 7 eleven vodka & oj days, where mixing the pint with the quart x 2 for consumption by 5 teens signaled the start of the evening. Cruising In a bug towards the Castaways, inevitably releasing that fowl concoction in all directions - much like opened hydrants on a hot summer NY day - can't get near the smell of the stuff. Only gin martini please.

Yep. It's happened (error/log out/in) a bunch of times. It seems to be an additional annoyance associated with being blue.
Posted by: OC Dolphin | May 22, 2008 at 07:51 PM
raoul, I have a low tolerance for a**holes. But I want to make it clear that the "fuk 'em" was directed toward Bostonian, not Kennedy. He makes those totally insane comments about John, Jimbo's wife, then he want's to claim someone was out of line?
Kennedy has been a public nuisance (in my opinion) his whole adult life in multiple ways, but I wouldn't wish this fate on him or anyone else. I wouldn't even wish brain cancer on Bostonian. Maybe a screaming case of herpes though.
On Taylor, I'm just over the whole thing. These days there's no more Cal Ripkens who stay with the same system their entire career. Makes it miserable for fans, but it's reality. My point is, Taylor, though one of my favorite all-time Dolphins, can go and I won't lose a wink of sleep. No drama for me, what the hell is he worth?

Hey guys, forget getting shockey for jt. The giants turned down a #2+#5, from the saints. Taylor is 34, plus tuna has backed himself into a corner, with this stupid hissey fit of his. Plus shockey is to big an ego for the tuna. He should of taken the Jags. offer. The best spot for a trade looks like the saints. I can see taylor showing up after the 4th exb. game. He can pull a strahan, he is in good enough shape. At 34yrs. old, the dolphins are not getting much.

Have not seen any posts from flipper72, since the new format went into effect. I hope cote is not trying to blacklist any of us. I just had to sign out and in again to post. Come on cote get this ironed out.

dean,
sorry to hear that things are so bad in detroit- they're not much better anywhere in the US with work done abroad and gasoline at well over 4 bucks a gallon. wishing you plenty of customers hungry for entrance to the stanley cup, be they from detroit or the igloo!! have a great holiday weekend, and the same to the rest of our guys here on the blog

i heard flipper was skipping mini and training camps in an effort to renegotiate his contract.
Posted by: dean | May 22, 2008 at 10:10 PM
Dave,
Don't get down to S.D. enough times to provide you with any recommendations. shadow is just a bit north though. You might check with him. Hey, there is always TJ, maria and the donkey show.

Flipper72 is gone for good!
Posted by: the bostonian | May 22, 2008 at 10:28 PM
You see, although most of you refused to acknowledge it, he was doing all the postings as me. That foolishness is done!
Posted by: the bostonian | May 22, 2008 at 10:30 PM
Dave in VA,
Most of the comments you think I made, I never did.
As far as Kennedy goes he's done a tremendous amount of good for the working class. You can choose to dismiss that, but it's the truth. Ted Kennedy is a true American hero.
Posted by: the bostonian | May 22, 2008 at 10:32 PM
i thought ginrai was the poser. flipper? i never even considered him.
Posted by: dean | May 22, 2008 at 10:34 PM
My guess is that ginrai, Flipper72, and a few other names were all the same. I saw my damn name posted over and over several times and IT WAS NOT ME!
this registration is the best thing Cote has done.
Posted by: the bostonian | May 22, 2008 at 10:38 PM
things do seem to be much crisper and legible around here w/ the new format.
Posted by: dean | May 22, 2008 at 10:43 PM
Dave in VA I assumed it was directed toward Bostonian and it made me chuckle. shadow's confrontation while an appropriate response given circumstances made me laugh. The reason is I'm not accoustomed to you shadow calling someone out in that manner and there was something pleasantly surprising about it. I wasn't coming from a place of malice or criticism Dave in VA when I wrote you were being direct. You weren't beating around the bush or mincing words was what was running through my mind and it was amusing. Not like a clown funny, like you're here for my amusement as Joe Pesci might say. Forgive me if it seemed to come off that way.

OC your take on vodka was like existential/beatnik poetry to my ears if that makes any sense. Like Alan Ginsbergesque. God am I in a weird mood after sitting for a couple hours in a hypnogogic(sp?)state watching Oliver Stone's "The Doors". Very fragmented convoluted piece of cinema but the 60's never cease to fascinate, no enthrall me. Also was Meg Ryan ever HOT when that movie first came out.
Posted by: raoul duke | May 22, 2008 at 11:15 PM
OC that was pretty funny. But you forgot to add into your analysis that OC = CC which raises questions about the remainder of OCs equalities/inequalities.

raoul duke, Oliver Stone has a knack for making fiction out of history (JFK, Nixon, The Doors, The Day Reagan was Shot, and coming soon "W").

Amazing typepad system we have in play here. I've been torpedoed like four straight times. Yet I try try again because I happen to love this F***ing Blogsite as much as RW loves his weed as much as JT can't help but PRRRRRT in his fancy boy jumpsuit. You have me over a F***ing Barrel Cote! Bostonian I pray thee tells us what thy hath done to our dear dear Flipper72. You're not holding him hostage in your basement I trust yelling at him "It Puts The Lotion On It's Skin And Then Puts It Back In The Basket Again!" are you?
Posted by: raoul duke | May 22, 2008 at 11:58 PM
PRRRRRT which reminds me where is Jimbo?
Posted by: raoul duke | May 23, 2008 at 12:05 AM
At least Nixon was entertaining. JFK was like watching a young idealistic leader having his brains blown out and sprayed all over his traumatized wife or something...
Posted by: raoul duke | May 23, 2008 at 12:11 AM
Trade JT for someone who wants to commit themselves to the team or even better for at least a #2 draft pick.
I don't care for Teddy Kennedy the man or the politician. The worst of the Kennedy boys lives the longest. Teddy did exactly ~what~for the working man, huh Bostonian? He kept bartenders busy, breweries in business..yes I guess so.
I have been outta commission this week attending financial seminars and try to get back on here only to find this site run by communists. Was this Castro's idea?
I guess this is the end for Little Crippled Billy, Franco Harris, Al Coholic, the Brown Eye, Spastic Colon, Hiney Himmler, Odor Eater, all contributing compelling topics....
Not surprised to see Beck throwing with the first team although it is very early.
Parcells saying "Wonder if Beck has any Balls" and getting to the media is typical Big Tuna there..challenge the guy, pushing buttons, manipulation for motivation. His MO thru and thru.
Posted by: Jimbo | May 23, 2008 at 12:37 AM
Add on to the Kennedy topic.. I meant to add that although I don't respect Ted Kennedy, I don't wish cancer on him.
Posted by: Jimbo | May 23, 2008 at 12:39 AM
Wrong again Patty Puke..!!
Everyone knows you were the imposter- you scum sucking maggot! Bottom feeder!!
heh...heh...heh...!!
dean, I have renegotiated my contract and I'm ready to Rock..!!
Kurt, 10-6....6th seed in the play-offs!!
___________________________________________
JT will be playing in Miami. The media needs to shut the f**k up..!!
All he is doing is setting some movie deals. He is probably going over some contracts with his agent, to make sure he gets a good deal. Tuna needs to mellow out or else I'm gonna have to make a trip to Davie and jump in his face. He needs to be checked!!
IF YOUR READING THIS PARCELLS, STOP ACTING LIKE AN IDIOT AND USE THE WISDOM THAT YOU'VE GAINED. YOU CANNOT TREAT EVERYONE THE SAME BECAUSE EVERYONE WILL NOT RESPOND THE SAME!! IF YOU WANT RESPECT, THEN LEARN HOW TO GIVE IT!! THIS IS DON SHULA LAND AND YOU HAVEN'T DONE JACK YET SO DON'T START OFF ON THE WRONG FOOT. BE WISE, NOT AN ARROGANT, EGOTISTICAL BASTARD..!!!
If you need help Mr. Parcells on how to be a human being and treat people with respect, then please let me know...!!!
Open the lines of communication with JT or you'll be hearing from me- they call me Flipper, not Mr.Tibbs but Flipper!!
I believe you can go 10-6 Mr.Parcells, please-please-please, Do Not Let Us Down!!
Thank You...!!!

Hey Frank,
I am glad that someone can see through the smoke screen. 10-6 will be reality...!!
McCown will start. Beck will be waiting in the wings. Henne is a project.

Jimbo,
I agree with that...!!!
heh...heh...heh...!!!
Posted by: Flipper72 | May 23, 2008 at 12:45 AM
i'm just glad I can post and there is no doubt it is me. I'm glad no turd will be able to use my name again. If I'm going to be hated let it be for what I post not what some A-hole decides to post using my credentials then turning around and saying that I'm the one taking identities! It's all over!
Posted by: the bostonian | May 23, 2008 at 12:45 AM
Dean, Penguins 4 games to 1 over Red Wings.
