The Dolphins already have some great recievers they got to get the ball more.
The new different offensive line is the problem. They need to fix that. Honestly I don't think we need Randy Moss.

1st round pick? Can we trade Jason Allen?!

Hell yes get Moss if you can. I'm tired of the Chris Chambers hype. He has never been a clutch, go to, can always get open kind of receiver despite his probowl year. After this last game with his own admission of being his worst game ever and Booker's key drop late in the game on a crossing route I think we need a proven consistent receiver while this season can still be salvaged. The O line ain't the problem because the ball isn't coming out on time because the receivers aren't getting open!

Great receivers are supposed to make their QB's look good.Randy Moss has not been able to do that for almost three seasons now. Let's work with the receivers we have now and have them build more chemistry with Daunte.

Hell YEAH.... JOEY HARRINGTON to RANDY MOSS...! What a connection that would be....!

I'd trade Chambers for Moss in a second, Chambers is not a #1, He's a ghost 75% of the season.

Its never about one prima donna...

It's ALWAYS about the line - offensive and defensive. This is a brutal game won by men who can blow the other team back on their heels, then on their backside in the 4th qtr, as a cohesive unit. It takes talent, meanness and a dedication to pulverizing the other guy. thats the #1 prerequisite to not be sitting at home with the rest of the poor saps watching the games in January. Its hard to face it for some folks but its a fact. We aint got those guys.

Please, Greg...don't even bring up that nonsense. In case you haven't noticed, things aren't going to well in South Florida either. Do you here the dolphin players complaining about this and that? No, you hear we have to get better and work harder. That is called team chemistry. Bring in a cancer like Randy Moss if you want to destroy it!

Randy Moss: great speed, excellent hands, had career numbers next to Culpepper. We need a playmaker that can be consistent on a day to day basis. Chambers is a great player but doesn't show up each week, Moss will definitely take some pressure of Chambers and Culpepper. I SAY GO FOR IT!!!!

Randy Moss.... Absoluteley no. We need to build up from the foundation and thats the offensive line. Spend next year's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round draft pick on offensive lineman. As they say, you can't build a house without a good foundation.....

As an addon to my above comment. If we can get Moss by trading a 4th round or lower pick and throw in the useless Jason Allen -- I say go for it.

I just got off the phone with Ronnie Brown. He hates the idea. Moss never blocks. And Ronnie said he needs his receivers to block. And his TE to block, and his fullback to block. Even Culpepper to block, as you all saw on the failed 2 point conversion last Sunday. We know that the OL can't block, so Ronnie thinks that the other guys on offense need to step it up. He also said that he talked to Ricky for any tips he might have on blocking for himself.

Randy Moss chooses to live his life in a way a lot of white people frown upon ... especially the 'holier than thou' white people, a lot of them think he is a jerk and a jackass because they find fulfillment in judging. They are just judgmental jerks; regardless of what people judge or think, the people can't deny that Randy Moss dominates and messes defenses up. He is one of the best ever. I think him and Ricky would work well together and school people. Randy has terrific leaping abilities and athletic skills. Various people don't want him on their team because they think he is a jerk. You have to be a jerk on the gridiron, you have to rip people's heart out and show it to them before their last breath. This is a game of violence and disrepect and hatred and knocking people's block off ... Yes, get Randy Moss and pass him the ball ...

GET MOSS AND GET SOME MORE WHITE BOYS ON THE OFFENSIVE LINE. I WANT THE LINE TO LOOK AND PLAY LIKE DENVERS LINE. THEN MAYBE WE CAN EVEN HAVE A RUNNING GAME TOO WITH POOR RONNIE BROWN. AMAGIN THAT.
AL

They can have Chambers, Zack, Jason anyone they want for Randy. Please charter a jet now!!! Nobody drops more balls than Chambers, slips more than Booker, not thrown to like Hagan.
Randy Moss here would be like adding Shaq to the Heat-everyone else would have a career year.

cante caborn from Miami : Hey, I'm white, and I LIKE Randy Moss. I LIKE what he does, and what he stands for. I admire the dude tremendously. And I'm not the white trash, trailer park type wigger- white. What's your problem with white people?

HELL YES. That's good for 14 points a game and automatically puts the fins in contention

Cante cabron es un cabron. Humper, you must not be 'holier than thou'... How do you know I'm not white you piehole idiot? The deep, meaningful, blog I blogged obviously wasn't appreciated by you. Don't twist my words and read what you want to read. But if you want to, go head. If you like him so much, tatoo his initials on both your ankles to show your support ...

Moss for # 1 pick? Ummm!!!!!!!!!!!

Hell YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS....

Moss and Chambers means safeties drop back... it opens up the running game and short passing game to the TEs. Oh and by the way, it create a one on one match ups with Chambers.

Moss and couple of decent offensive linemen... and we're talking superbowl... baby....

Um, no. Fire Mularky and find a real O-coordinator. (Has anyone heard any blame shot his way...didn't think so). Has anyone questioned the play calling yet? Hey, try this, RUN THE BALL!! Randy Moss isn't saving one lousy team, why would he be able to save a worse one.

smokes dope in front of cops at the airport and then tries to run them over trying to get away. sounds like a great fit to play for the fins on sunday and south beach the other six nights.

i would take him if the price was cheap!this pathetic team has nothing to lose at this point!they pay chambers like a pro-bowler might as well have a real one!

i have never read the most in accurate info in my life. Dont claim to be a dolphin fan and then have no clue what ure talking about. chambers is not the problem. he doesnt get the ball enough to be a problem. Culpepper is not the problem. he's not standing enough to throw the ball badly or to get to chambers. brown is not the problem. he has no holes to run through. see what im getting at? Its the O-LINE!!!!
And for everyone praising Moss, his stats are worse then chambers. he hasn't put up any where near his Record breaking numbers in three years. he hasn't even put up decent #1 reciever numbers in three years. Before you place blame and claim to know thw answer, get all the stats right.

Hey cabron from Miami, you're an asshole. I call you out punk. Randy smokes pot and he disrupts. I agree with Shalerith and Salisberry, Randy should eff off and die. He sucks. He has good stats but that was a long time ago. He no longer sends shivers down peoples spine like he used to. He has an attitude problem that needs to be adjusted. When you make your bed, you have to lie in it. People that have a problem with white people suck! Randy Moss is not an entertainer, he is a football player. x's & O's should be his only concern. I'd rather have Chris Chambers and Marty and Randy. Give it up cante cabron.

Sure, lets pick up RM and see if he can get open in the 1-2 seconds the line gives before they completely get overrun. You could put Rice on one side, TO on the other, and Moss in the slot, and culpecker would still get sacked before hitting any of them.

When you play 2 of the worst teams in the league, and your line gets beat for 10+ sacks, well, need we say more.

Want to waste a 1st or 2nd, how about someone on the OL with some talent? I thought bringing in Houck(sp?) was supposed to fix this crap?

Greg..Give yourself a break as it isn't the liberal, left wing media that is ruining america. It is the people who listen to the liberal, left wing media and then don't have the ability to think for themselves.

Moss had the chance to be one of the greatest ever but he just doesn't care enough. Doesn't play hard enough. Doesn't want it enough. Not a team player. Call Minnesota.

cante cabron..you are too cool. It is not a black or white thing. It is how one behaves in public and Moss has done nothing other than make himself look like a child based on his actions. Similar to your earlier comments making you appear as though you are a ten year old.

"Don't ask what you can do for your country! Ask what your country can do for you!" ... Dave Mustaine founder of MegaDeath.

dean,

imagine randy moss smokin' that south florida "kryppie"!!! i've been out of the scene for a while, but from what i remember florida gots california beat by a mile!! maybe it's that bad west coast bud (relatively bad) that has made # 18 so surly and ineffective- maybe he needs THC and a little TLC to get back on track.

Culpepper was happy to see Moss leave here in Minnesota. He said in interviews that Moss was a distraction.

It doesn't matter anyway. Culpepper isn't that good. He made Minnesota's offensive line look horrible. When Brad stepped in last year the Vikes suddenly started winning. It's funny hearing Culpepper saying the exact same things he said when he was up here.

I have followed the Dolphins since the early 70's. I was upset that they picked up Culpepper. He won't make it.

It wouldn't make any difference if Moss came to Miami, we have bigger issues than WR. Umm O-line sucks, doesnt give time to throw 3 of 5 pass attemps. Our QB isn't helping the issue. Doesnt have confidence to throw the ball when he does have time. Which results in 3rd & 20 80% of the time. Oh dont forget those false starts and holding calls on 1st downs. How can you forget snap counts 5-6 times a game, when your playing for that kind of money? This team needs a heart check. Is it beating at all? I say stir it up Saban. Start Joey play Welker more at reciever, in fact start his butt. Wes is what we want from every player on this team. Reward the ones that play with heart F the rest. As for this season forget about it.. maybe we get 8-9 wins. It wont be enough.Oh one last thing Ronnie Brown needs to hit the line running not dancing. The holes are too small for dancing. Hit like a train Ronnie and you might see better production. Peace out and keep the faith Phin Fans

This team is not getting any younger. Dculp is not that young, niether is Talyor, Thomas and the whole Def. line for that matter. If this team is going to win within the next 3 years it will still fall on the def. So there is no time to rebuild. Make the team better now any way you can. The OF line sucks but that is the hardest position to upgrade. There is simply no great line men avaiable in FA. If you have a chance to get a player like Moss for a draft pick you do it. Sell the future to win now. If not you will be rebuilding in a couple of years anyways. You might as well make a run for it now while you have the Def. in place. But dont pay more than a 2nd rounder for Moss. Maybe a 1st last year but not now. He should not cost a 1st rounder a 2nd should get it done.

As a reminder to everyone. One player doesn't make a team. That said, The more great talent you add to a unit, the higher the probability to succeed. As far as Randy Moss is concerned, UNDERSTAND, He had his best years with Culpepper, and vice versa. As for Chambers, He's a good receiver, but not great. Booker has yet to show up like he did in Chicago. The Fins might as well move Wes Welker up to the number one spot, Because he is the only receiver showing up with his A Game every day, and the only receiver with any Heart. In order to be elite, you must be able to catch the ball. In conclusion, trade Booker, Chambers, and next years 6th round pick and bag ourselves Randy Moss and at least a playoff berth.

No matter what any of us yahoo's think, this will come down to the true meaning of professional sports in this particular era, MONEY and more importantly, BANG for the BUCK. So rest assured, if ol' Wayne thinks this can generate revenue and Nick thinks Randy will lead the Fin's to the promised land, it'll happen.

Cante cabron - Where is it that you have a probem with me? I just said I am white and like Moss. You are the one who has a prejuduce against whites. I am not judging anyone, hombre.

I think we should trade Chambers for Moss even trade. Last year was a Cinderella story for Chambers do it while the gettin is good.If they want a draft pick than no higher than a 6th or 5th with Chambers.

Sure.....if we can give up a second round pick like we did for C-PEPP, but that is it! No CHambbers for Moss or anything like that and no way a first round pick. The O-Line sucks right now, the WR suck right now, our Defense sucks, and our QB sucks.....basically the problem is that the ENTIRE TEAM SUCKS right now.....randy Moss is not going to make the line block better or make the defense step up......the entire team need to get it together!

shadow

i hear the forest isn't the only thing burning in cali. have you booked your travel to see the dolphins in the super bowl yet?

I will agree with you on the team is not playing good at all but I have never been sold on Chambers and I think this would be a perfect opportunity to upgrade at that spot.I am not saying that Moss will complete the horrible offense but he will make defenders pay. Unlike Chambers who can not get open to save his life or hold a block for that matter.

What is a wigger?

perfect example of a wigger is Jason Williams Miami Heat point guard.(a white who acts or thinks he or she is black)

I am not a dolphins fan by any means but honestly, if they can pull a moss for chambers straight up deal it is ano brainer. randy moss is one of the greatest of all time. chris chambers is an overhyped wr who is better as a number 2 wr than a number 1. hell if they can sawp booker for jerry porter i'd do it too. that would be an instant upgrade at WR. They need to address the o-line big time to get Daunte protection and time to throw. if they can do this, the offense would be doing ALOT better than it is now. Thankfully, they won;t because they're ballless and i will be happy watching them fail

Dennis, what is acting black? That's a racist comment in it self. Does Bryant Gumble, Clarence Thomas, Candelisa Rice act white. People are people. Randy Moss would be a great asset to any team on the field. You would be suprise what some of those so called clean cut athletes do behind closed doors. With Randy and T.O there aren't any closed doors. Lighten up lets get Miami back on track. If bringing in RM fits the bill-GO FOR IT! By the way "CHILL OUT DAWG!"

"if they can pull a moss for chambers straight up deal it is ano brainer. randy moss is one of the greatest of all time." Dave, by that reasoning, they should trade Chambers for Jerry Rice or Lance Alworth or the remains of Don Hutson. Moss' glory days are over. Reuniting Moss and Culpepper behind this line with this offensive coordinator would be a huge waste. No deal! I'm only interested in deals that improve the OL.

MOSS TRADE?

"That's not to say a potential move is out of the question. If it happened, the Dolphins have a quarterback who could be used as some pretty tempting bait."

I cetainly hope you are talking about Cleo Lemon and NOT Joey Harrington (sho should be starting in the first f....g place.

OK Steve you got me on that one but I was just answering a racist question with a racial answer. That is just the way it is not to say that i am a bigot towards one group of people I am not.People are racist in any manner you put it there is always an answer to and blame when it comes to racism.anyway enough of that. What happened to Hudson Huck o-line coach was he supposed to be the savior for the offensive line. It seems to me yes the trade for Moss would be great but i have a feeling no matter what they do the first half they will probably win out and get a low draft pick again..

Are you kidding? Chris Chambers....Marty Booker....Wes Welker....Derek Hagan.....and you wanna get another one?!? lol. It would be good to have him yes, but these other recievers may not want that. They are finally starting to click and this would disrupt that. They just need to throw downfield more to Chris. Plus theres no way Randy Moss would like the play calling.

To 'the overlord', I'll cave your chest in if you call me out. You don't want a piece of this. Your momma is so ugly, her pimp makes her stand on the street corner with a paper bag over her head. How can you type into the computer that Randy Moss sucks? What's so sucky about Randy Moss? We want to win football games and Randy Moss will help us aw-ite ...

dean,

nice guy are you- haven't booked passage to miami for the super bowl yet; chargers look like the best in the AFC despite loss to ravens in a great game. am looking for the dolphins to make a game of it with new england, with an upset a distinct possibility!! haven't smelled any "burning alfalfa" sine the college kids across the alleyway moved. have a great weekend,my friend

Randy would be worth a risk definately if we had a O-line. But, if we're going to trade right now, it should be for veteran o-linemen. All the pro-bowl receivers in the NFL at once couldn't catch a pass from a quarterback who is on his back.

I love all these comments. Hey Dolphins fans - show us all just how little you know!
