Michael Beasley spoke with reporters on Tuesday but probably for the last time

I'm not quite sure how long Michael Beasley is going to be a member of the Heat, but I get the sense that it's going to be an adventure covering him while he's around.

On Tuesday, Beasley participated in his first practice with the Heat since 2010, and afterwards delivered a few choice one-liners.

Beasley on playing time, considering he might not play at all: "I can't control minutes. I ain't got no minutes in my pocket and I don't got no crazy cell-phone plan."

Beasley on the Bahamas: "What else is there to see? It took us like an hour to get here from the airport and all I seen is a gas station."

Considering the Heat is in the Bahamas to promote the islands for the government's ministry of tourism, something tells me Beasley won't be talking with reporters on Wednesday, or ever again for that matter. The Heat has endorsed the Bahamas since 2006.

Beasley is back with the Heat on a non-guaranteed deal after being bought out by the Suns.

I seriously wonder what this guy's IQ is. He really just seems like someone who doesn't deserve to succeed.

At least he is being honest and not giving a robot answer, the really is not alot to see if you are not in the hotel.

lol.. I like Beasley I want him to stay, and hopefully contribute to this team.. HOWEVER; lol he needs to work on his communication with the media.. yea he's honest, but you can be honest with more tact. I learn that in the military lol.

So? Is he wrong in any of his statements?

who cares what his IQ is outside of basketball?...if he helps his team win a ring, and doesn't hurt himself or any one else in the process it's all good...as far as "deserving to succeed" - there are many, many other folks in all types of professions who probably don't deserve to succeed...this is just basketball...

Hope he has a successful stay.

TRANSLATION..........................This is coach's team........I'll be ready if he needs me. I have no expectations...............................

First of all, it doesn't take an hour to get to the hotel from the airport. Secondly, the route they would have taken is a scenic route so I'm pretty sure he saw more than just a gas station. Going over the bridge itself is a site to see. So yeah, he does come off as an idiot. He's making it seem like we (I'm Bahamian) have nothing to offer.
