Shane 'Stachier' rocks some filthy facial hair

It appears like Shane is making the most of the Heat's long break between series. On Wednesday he joked that the status of his mustache was "hour to hour."
The Heat had a physical practice on Wednesday with Dwyane Wade (knee) sitting out once again. The Heat is off on Thursday.

Time off should do us some good...

The sweep was a good sign of locked in focus we need going into round 2...

Already counting down to game 1...

So I again I know Im late, but I would like to repost what I just posted on the Jason Collins subject matter..

hello, I know I'm a couple of days late, but I would like to add my 2 cents.. One I am a bible believeing Christian. I know quite a few, and have gay friends. They know how I stand when it comes to homosexuality, I love the person, but i dont agree with the lifestyle. Now with that being said,
I dont understand why the media wants to push this equality for everyone, except when it comes to Christians? Every movie, every show (I.E. Law & Order, CSI, ETC), everytime their is an es-stranged serial killer they make them out as hearing voices from God, and making Christians or people who believe in God seem like crazy psyco-paths, but when it comes to Gay-Rights, or anything against Christianity it gets pushed to the forefront of media and praised as the best thing ever?? When did we become so Anti-Christ in America??

Also in addition, HOW does Jason Collins get a call and a tweet from 2 Presidents, but when the lives of our fellow service members (and my brother's in arms) are lost for fighting for our country, some of them dont even so much as get a postumoustly awarded ribbon??? Seriously this countries priorities are twisted

Geno Smith to the Jets, is a big story...

Young man, you have a great chance to make history...

Huge Market... Big Expectations... The Media means well, but you have to produce... They will have to get you some weapons... The stage is set.. Come to play....

Congrats to Geno Smith...

I totally agree with your post. Why do the masses have to know anyone's sexuality at all, and worse than that, why must we agree and accept homosexuality just so that we can prove that we are not bigots or whatever else...
If gays need to constantly seek others' approval and acceptance, does that mean that they think there is something wrong about their lifestyle?

In regards to this topic.... I think Professional work places should not need to know what sexuality you are.... And in sports, you just add too much attention to yourself... No one really should be in your personal life that much.... Do you... Whats' up Heat Nation... 007...

Where the hell is this blog going??? We went from a mustache to this disaster of a topic. Everyone just shut up already. It's week old news!!!

Smitty - right on partner!!

Griffiths and Bryant's ankle injuries can be attributed to the effects of the spectacular dunks that caused them to land hard on the floor. Now I notice players finishing off plays with soft lay-ups, so the ankles and knees don't have so much stress put on them. The "Dunk of the Night" actually contributed to the rash of feet injuries because of the pounding the feet take when the player lands on the hardwood floor after the dunk. Andersen finishes his dunks by hanging onto the rim with both hands so he hits the floor easily.

welp back to basketball news...

One, Steph Curry is the best (pure) PG in the league right now (and thats no offense to CP3). But when teams are forced to try and re-injure your ankle, you know your a baddd baddd man!! #splashbrothers! I think the Warriors might exceed even their own expectations! I wouldnt be surprised if the Warriors make it to WC finals, I dont think they can beat the SPURS or OKC, IF OKC can make it pass Houston..

For some reason, I think Boston will make it pass NY. Too much one on one plays with Melo.. I think Kenyon Martin is bad for a franchise and now Im glad the HEAT didnt pick him up.. and Boston ALWAYS finds a way to meet the Heat in the Playoffs.. Best time of year is playoff basketball!!! lol love it.. #HEATNATION

I don't think anybody on the Nuggs was intentionally trying to hurt Curry. Play physical? Yes, it's the playoffs. From what I saw (and I didn't see the whole game) the Warriors had more 'potentially dirty' plays against the Nuggs than they took. You are correct though, they won't beat the Spurs, who have a damn good PG in their own stable. (and by damn good, I mean, better than Curry)

As a Heat fan, I don't have any love for the Knicks or the Celts, but will be pulling for the Celtics to upset the Knicks, winning game 7 in NYC. Classless behavior doesn't deserve a reward. I'm one who rate Melo higher than most people on the NBA chart, but his mentality and attitude are lacking. He was the one who was mouthing off to the C's bench after the game BEFORE Felton got involved. Damn, after going 8 for 24 from the field, I think I'ld close my yapper and focus on GAME 6.

Agree on this though Smitty - Birdman > K.Mart. Just another case of the Heat organization having more knowledge and insight than us fans, and thank God for that!

Congrats' to Lebron James on winning the 2013 NBA MVP Award.... They can't hold me... Awesome....007....

Next round almost set... Monday can't come soon enough...

Tony Parker is an awesome PG.. and proven Champion. But I would like to see how steph curry plays against him..

I know the NETS were supposedly built as a "Heat Stopping" team, but to be honest, Im more nervous of the Bulls than the NETS so Im hoping the nets win tonight.. especially if D. Rose plans on making his return in the next round.

Smitty whats up,

The Spurs vs Warriors series does have its' match up intrigue... Not sure who to pick in this match up...

As far as the Bulls/Nets, I don't think it matters.. I think this next round will be tough no matter which team it is.. Both teams have strength that would be tough, but we should be ok.... Saturday morning, whats' up guys... 007..
