Heat moving down the Spanish radio dial

Univision is mixing up its coverage of the Heat this season.

Heat radio en Español is moving to AM 710 The Mambí for the regular season. The Mambí is the top-rated Spanish radio station in Miami. For the playoffs, FM 98.3 The Mix will air all of the Heat's playoff games. Previously, Heat games broadcast in Spanish could be found on AM 1140 WQBA. All three radio stations are owned by Univision. The Heat and Univision agreed upon a multi-year radio and marketing deal on Wednesday.

The Mambí will carry pre- and post-game shows for Heat games. Spanish play-by-play maestro José Pañeda enters his 25th year with the team and his 24th season calling games. Joe Pujala has been the Heat's Spanish color analyst for 14 years. He also hosts the team's Spanish language pre-game, halftime and post-game shows.
