A masseuse collapsed and died at Chris Bosh's Miami Beach home on Monday morning, according to police.
The masseuse arrived at Bosh's home around 10:24 a.m. and, according to the report, "appeared well and in good spirits." The masseuse then collapsed. Emergency responders attempted to save the masseuse before transporting her to Mount Sinai Hospital. She was pronounced dead at 11:45 p.m.
The masseuse was a cancer survivor, according to the report. Her name and age were redacted from the police report.
Bosh, who has missed nine straight games due to a strained abdominal muscle, was planning to return to action for Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals on Tuesday night. After the team's morning shootaround, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said Bosh's activation would be a game-time decision.
