Two games in, Heat-Knicks already a memorable series

The first-round series between the Heat and Knicks feels like it's just getting started but already it has produced plenty of memories for the time vault. Let's recap with my top 5 moments of the series so far:

5. CHANDLER BLINDSIDES LEBRON
Knicks center Tyson Chandler gets the series started with bang when he decks LeBron James in the open court with an vicious pick. James never see it coming and he neck snapped back on impact. Chandler was tagged with a flagrant foul and James was given an Oscar for his flop.

4. IMAN SHUMPERT DONE
Knicks guard Iman Shumpert tore his a ligament in his knee in Game 1, ending his postseason. With Jeremy Lin already on the shelf with a bum knee, Shumpert's injury is devastating for the Knicks. They're forced to finish the series with an old version of Baron Davis and Landry Fields. Fields can't keep up with Dwyane Wade in Game 2 with Wade scoring 19 points in the first half and 25 in the game.

3. LEBRON'S MOUTHPIECE
LeBron always has some kind of gimmick in the playoffs. This year, he's wearing a specialized mouthpiece he had made before the first round. The mouthpiece bears the Roman numeral "XVI," as in 16, as in the number of wins for an NBA championship.

LeBron has done the mouthpiece thing in the past. Last season for Halloween, LeBron wore a vampire mouthpiece. It's pretty much the coolest thing he's ever done.

2. WADE THROWS MIKE BIBBY'S SHOE
In some countries, the act of throwing shoes is one of the lowest insults in the insult game. It's not that serious here in the U.S., but Mike Bibby was certainly not happy in Game 2 when Dwyane Wade tossed Bibby's shoe off the court. Bibby's shoe came off during the third quarter and Wade -- naturally, because that's what you do when you're playing the Knicks in the playoffs -- gave Bibby's shoe the heave-ho.

1. THE FIRE EXTINGUISHER
Amare Stoudemire punches a fire extinguisher in the corridor between the visitor's locker room and the court after Game 2. For whatever reason, the Knicks P.R. staff tries to cover it up by keeping the Knicks post-game locker room closed for 35 minutes after the game. Paramedics stitch Stoudemire's hand back together and he leaves the arena with his left arm in a sling.

In an attempt to give the victim of this embarrassing incident a voice, a Heat fan (we're assuming a Heat fan) immediately created a Twitter account after incident in the name of the fire extinguisher. The twitter handle is @AAAExtinguisher and here's a link to Fire Extinguisher's Twitter page.

Crazy series so far ... and the plane hasn't even touched down in New York yet.

Wow...Joe is going nuts with his blogs !

Got alittle worried when Wade missed that dunk with Knicks still in game...and with LBJ's shot being alittle off. Chalmers made some key 4th q shots and the bench played well also.

At some point whether this series or later...a stealth rebounding team will cause some problems when the shots aren't falling.

These playoffs are the bomb ! Some really solid play going on around the league.
