Oscar Robertson points out the obvious, the Heat needs more production at center

Basketball legend and prostate cancer survivor Oscar Robertson was in South Florida on Wednesday spreading awareness of the disease. He took time to chat with The Miami Herald about basketball and the Miami Heat.

Robertson on the Heat’s title chances: “I want LeBron to win. It felt like the whole country was against him last year. But I’ve always said this: To win championships, you need to have a center who can get you 12 points, 10 rebounds. The Heat don’t have that.”

The Heat, which recently cut center Mickell Gladness, is in the market for another center and hopes to land Joel Przybilla. Of course, fans shouldn't expect Przybilla, who is deciding between the Heat and Bulls, to be a miracle worker. He has averaged four points and six rebounds in his career and has only played in 66 games over the last three seasons.
