Heat 24, Knicks 20 after 1st quarter

A furious first quarter ended with the Heat leading the Knicks 24-20 on Thursday at AmericanAirlines Arena.

The Heat forced five turnovers in the first 12 minutes but failed to take full advantage. Knicks guard Jeremy Lin had a shaky start, allowing three turnovers in the period. Veteran point guard Baron Davis started the second quarter, a product of the Knicks' new rotation.

LeBron James led all scorers with six points. Mario Chalmers had five points. James started the Heat's scoring with a powerful alley-oop from Dwyane Wade and the Heat's intensity only grew from there.

Heat is having trouble with Knick's size. NY does a good job of spacing in their half court Offence. Heat struggles in their half court Offence. If the Heat is not running they look flat. The Heat does look like the more aggresive team, I hope we pull this one out. I don't like the match up's with this team, don't want to play this team in the playoff's.

Matchups shmatchups...we made the knicks look stupid. We would sweep the them in the first round, bring em on!!

I called a blowout yesterday, maybe it wasn't a full on blowout but it was damn close...Lin was a turnover machine. The knicks look gutless. Thank god Pat chose Bosh over Amare.

Cole with the rip off lin & dunk to face plant was priceless.
