NEWARK, N.J. -- A few post-game thoughts before the circus heads for the west coast...
--The Heat held the Nets to 33.7 percent from the field and 30.3 percent from three-point range. This dominating defensive performance was summed up in one play when The Warden rejected Mrs. Kardashian at the rim during a dunk attempt.
--The Heat shot exactly 50 percent (38 of 76) despite going 5 of 15 from three-point range.
--LeBron's 22 points in the first quarter set the league mark for the season. James was 7 of 7 from the field and 8 of 9 from the free-throw in the first quarter.
--The Heat had 34 points in transition. 34!
--Norris Cole looked good in his 30 minutes. He had nine points, six assists, three rebounds and three steals.

THE #S LBJ ARE PUTTING UP THIS YEAR ARE JUST CRAZY. HIS PER WAS A RIDICULOUS 37.53 B4 THIS GAME TONIGHT. ONLY 1 OTHER QUALIFYING PLAYER IS OVER 28.3.HIS VA (VALUE A PLAYER ADDS TO HIS TEAM)WAS 102.1. THATS 30 PTS HIGHER THAN THE #2 GUY IN THE LEAGUE. ONLY 8 OTHER PLAYERS IN THE ENTIRE LEAGUE ARE OVER 51. THATS ATLEAST TWICE AS MUCH AS 99% OF THE PLAYERS IN THE LEAGUE. HE STILL NEEDS TO CLEAN UP THE TOs. HAD TOO MANY TONIGHT.GO HEAT!

LeBron has been fantastic. Know it's been just 8 games into the season...but he's my MVP of the league. He just looks happy this year...last year not so much. His whole game has been off the charts doing things nobody else can do.

Saw heat win! Lebron's a beast. When he's in the game though, Bosh disappears a bit...i wanted to see that 25 pt Bosh (without overtime points) and Lebron tonight.
One things that hit me:
I looked over Pittman's stats and Joel Anthony (which is nearly bare bones) and in less minutes Pittman does twice as much. I think its time for him to start cutting into some of JA's minutes. Anybody, Anybody...
