Understanding Michael Jackson
I thought I had exhausted any capacity to feel sorry for Michael Jackson. Watch this video of Joseph Jackson being interviewed at the BET Awards three days after the death of his son and you'll understand why I was wrong. Just amazing. The depth of the man's unconcern is apparently bottomless. "Papa Joe" is a real piece of work.

I thought it was just me. I too, was taken aback by the apparent lack of emotion and callousness of this man. As he talked about the future care of his grandchildren, he showed about as much connection to their dead father as a foster parent would taking in three strange children who were recently orphaned. It is pathetic. No wonder that poor Michael evolved into the man that he became.

I hadn't seen that as I was busy tending to my own life and wife and daughter. Hard to kick a man when he's down, but he didn't deserve the airtime he was given (Papa Joe that is).

Yikes. You get the feeling that he's gearing up to make money from his son yet again. Blech.

You guys amaze me! A pedophile overdoses and you feel sorry for him??? You hold this man up as an icon when he was a sleaze of a human being and frankly I’m glad he’s gone. If I was his father I would have been disgusted with my son’s behavior and disowned him!
