New Years resolution: I'm not gonna swim in the Pacific. Of course since I've never swam in the Pacific this resolution should be a breeze.

Sea snakes are not rare, but they are tropical animals that need warm water. They are also not protected species in California, and are reputed to be delicious.

A slithering sea snake snapped at my sandal on Saturday.

I once shot a slithering sea snake in my pajamas. What it was doing in my pajamas, I'll never know.
