...the South Carolina Emergency Management Division (SCEMD) sent out a bulletin asking residents to be on the lookout for Lizard Man during the upcoming solar eclipse on August 21st.

If this craziness in the Carolinas doesn't stop I'm going to have to move some place a little more normal like Florida or Flathead County.

Do they mean Lindsey Graham, because, if so, I can see the resemblance.

Re: chupacabra - nursecindy, did you let your dog to run outside?

Are they going to outlaw driving in FL during the eclipse ? I liked that lizard man picture. I pictured it wrecking a hapless Japanese village.

I think Lizard Man was on X-Files 4th in more recent bring-back. But has he "uprighted" into the woods, I saw his suit zipper revealing he was "just another actor" who scored a brief role.
Drat! I was going to mail him some dried flies I inherited from my dead turtle!

That pitiful starving animal is no chupacabra by a long chalk. Folks who live here in the Southwest know they are large, have bigger teeth and claws than a crocodile, green to gray in color, scaly and can fly.
There are those who believe a few Carolina lizard men visited this country, but they were all eaten by chupacabras. That is, of course, legend.

Whatever you believe or don’t believe, if you’re in South Carolina during the eclipse, watch out for Lizard Man or Bigfoot or people dressed as one or the other, avoid looking directly at the eclipse, don’t drink and drive, and if you see something, say something.
Peace out, dude!

Last time I saw the Lizard Men was an original episode of Jonny Quest.

That should tell you something.
