I have to call B.S. on this story. I live about 20 mins. away from Spindale, NC and I've never heard of anything like this coming from this particular church. I do know they're a non-denominational church and tend to stick together but I've never heard of these "rules". On the other hand some people from Spindale can be a little odd at times so I guess anything is possible.

Okay I have to retract my prior comment. I spoke with a friend who lives in Spindale and this is true. They are actually a cult and are currently under investigation for child abuse and abuse of adults members. I'm shocked! I'm going to have to pay more attention to Spindale. I hope they put Jane Whaley, who is the head of this "church", in jail for a very long time.
