Indeed. As I might have mentioned (these brain cells are OLD), I saw The Beatles at Carnegie Hall on February 12, 1964.

And keep off my lawn!

i'm sure you won't forget that one, jeff

im told i once attended a lynyrd skynyrd concert . . .

pink floyd at blossom music center...

Some or most of Woodstock.

Twenty two dollars for a tee shirt? What did it say?

Beach Boys AND Crosby Stills Nash & Young at Milwaukee County Stadium -- Beach Boys' backup band included the Captain & Tenille....

Same lineup is playing in the Oak Hills Shady Rest cafeteria next week.

Chicago, Beach Boys, John Denver, Ike and Tina Turner Review, and a few others I don't remember. Years ago I went with some friends to a place in Charlotte called Country City. None of us were crazy about country music but we'd heard there was a new singer that was really good. It was Randy Travis before he became famous. He was a nice guy too. Another friend told me when he and some buddies were on their way to Woodstock they stopped to eat at a small diner. The place was full so when a wild looking young black man asked if he could sit with them they said okay. They talked for about an hour and never got his name. They found out later he was actually Jimi Hendrix. He thanked them for their hospitality during the concert.
Also, I want this shirt.

Drank from a bottle of wine being passed through the crowd at a Rod Stewart concert. Understood the meaning of life and my purpose being the chosen one.

B.B. King, Blood Sweat & Tears, Jethro Tull, Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, The Band all at the Fillmore East - not all the same night.

Skynyrd. Their 'Fight!!! The audience has gone mad.' tour.

I never met Hendrix, but I did meet Norman Clopton. Hell of a guitar player.

Creeedence Clearwater, Blood Sweat and Tears, and

a lot of cool cover bands, like Liverpool, and the

Moody Blues.

OK, I got the shirt.

Started with Jethro Till at the fabulous Forum, then Zeppelin, Alice Cooper ... and continued puff puffing, slurp, chugalugging sniff sniffing our way thru Uriah Heep, Deep Purple, Frampton's Camel before he Came Alive & after too, Emerson Lake Palmer, Yes, Sabbath, Santana, John Fogerty, Moody Blues, Edgar Winter, Don McLean... enjoyed a lot of passed around stuff, got kissed alot too, saw so many more great groups, musicians - we all had a real good time, not done enjoying the music yet!
