HARD TO ARGUE

A 26-year-old man caught on security camera stealing said security camera admitted to officers it was a "dumbass thing to do," according to charges filed Monday in Pierce County Superior Court.

He figured it would be easier than that time he walked out with a security officer hidden in his pants.

Moral of the story...always where a helmet.

Same principle behind why police tell business owners to keep their property well lit at night. So the criminals can see better in the dark while committing the crime.

This should be one of the legal pleas: Guilty, Not Guilty, No Contest, or Dumb Ass Thing To Do.

Some pirate friends of mine installed a 6-camera external video security system at their home. They returned from vacation to find all the cameras missing.

A review of the recorded video shows the thief, wearing a mask, climbing up a step ladder, screwdriver in his hand. You can see him grinning through the mask.

Much like a precinct house without a toilet, police have nothing to go on.
