THEY WILL ALSO BE ISSUED FLORIDA DRIVERS' LICENSES

The Selective Service System mistakenly sent notices to more than 14,000 Pennsylvania men born between 1893 and 1897, ordering them to register for the nation's military draft and warning that failure to do so is "punishable by a fine and imprisonment."

Well they cannot claim they haven't had time to register can they, it's been a century or more since they turned 18.

Wonder where else those names might turn up...like, for instance, the Philly voting rolls.

Or even death......

The zombies are a'commin'!
I can tell you from experience that getting a draft notice will get your heart to beating.
Anybody remember draft numbers?
Mine was 6.

Nice one, Steve. My brother was #12. Mine was 230.

One of the happier days of my life occurred when I turned 25, which made me too old for the draft.

Not too old for the Pale Ale, however!

They have 14,000 men between ages 121 and 125 in Pennsylvania? What's in the water down there? Rolling Rock should make an ad about this. Show all these guys holding up their draft notices in one hand and a bottle of beer in the other.

Wes S,

Wonder where else those names might turn up...like, for instance, the Philly voting rolls.

That's probably where the names came from in the first place.

The y2k bug lives! MUAHAHAHAHAHA!
