So my mother is still a member even though she died two years ago?

This sounds like Mormons baptizing dead Jews like Anne Frank.

Facebook, what's Facebook?

Believe it or not, 30 million Facebook users died in the first eight years of its existence. In fact, 428 of them die every hour....
I may be going back to My Space if this is true.

I suspect most of the deaths are Facebook addicts who could not leave the keyboard long enough to eat or drink. If so, I'm OK with that.

I have a Facebook account but I can't access it because I've forgotten my password. So I'm virtually dead?

What do they mean, "and yet"? If enough people sign up for Facebook, they all become immortal? Use Facebook, become a struldbrug?

Every year, Facebook wants me to buy a birthday gift for a friend who died two years ago. I've never asked how they deliver.

And they'll all be voting numerous times.
