Australia alleges smuggler had bird eggs in pants

Ballsy attempt, you have to give him that.

I'm not smuggling. I'm incubating.

Big deal. I had 12 medium eggs in a bag outside of the grocery store earlier today.

Why smuggle budgie eggs to Australia, where they're native? They're probably something more exotic, like chupacabras.

Something seems off here, how can they charge him with importing a regulated species if they haven't identified the species yet. The police will sure have egg on their face if the eggs hatch and they are an unregulated species.

Now were these eggs in the front or back of his pants?
