Robert is one of a growing number of men for whom time off means time spent dressed in an elaborate body suit, complete with breasts and a vagina, designed to make them look like the glamorous women they are not. Unlike transgender people, ‘maskers’, or ‘rubber dollers’ as they’re also known, do not feel born in the wrong body. For them, dressing up as a member of the opposite sex is a simply a way to have fun.

Dave...Time to update "Guide to Guys"?

Yes... That seems like an entirely sane thing to do.

Sense Of Escapism, formerly Rubber Dollars, opened for Marilyn Manson.

Whatever happened to bowling?

Guys - WTFBBQ?

I keep imagining that 70 yo guy having a little accident and pushing his "I've Fallen and I Can't Get Up" button and the report the ambulance people would write.

Looks like a scary episode of Dr. Who. The Doll People from Randymandy 6.

Steve, as a former ambulance person I have a pretty good idea of how I would write up the report.
Responded to call and found 70 y/o white female large rubber doll,Sh!t, are you kidding me? male lying in floor after fall from unknown object. No apparent injuries however had to call in additional backup to treat fellow paramedics who were also lying in the floor and complaining of distress in their rib areas after laughing too hard. Oxygen administered at 4 liters per minute which relieved distress. Also told them to cut it out.

btw, I did have some calls that were almost as strange as that one would be. There were several times when we had to excuse ourselves to go get some equipment out of the ambulance because holding in the laughter was just too much.

Can't remember if I sent it in or not - perhaps I was too creeped out - but I saw this last week.

These guys should be in Japan, I believe. They have a much greater appreciation for the bizarre.

Doesm't that frozen face the dolls seem to have just SCREAM fun?

When injured, do you take them to a "real" hospital,
a plastic surgeon, a shrink or a doll hospital?

I'm more than a little worried about how "news stories" like these keep winding up in my in-basket....
