The findings aren’t pretty: 40 to 50 percent of the nuggets were meat, and the rest was fat, skin, connective tissue, blood vessels, nerves and bone fragments, according to the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

So, in other words, they are are made of chicken.

Sorta like Chinese food? Where a lot of nuggets are made.

Parts is parts.

One of our inspectors used to work in a plant that made, among other things, "chicken flavoring" to help those nuggets that had so little actual chicken they needed the help.

What does the author mean, "You won't believe ..."? Sure I do. I believe it implicitly. I can only say as Peter Fripp and Robert Sinwood said, "Don't think I am that rude if I tell you that it's cat food. Not even fit for a horse!"

Anything chicken fried is good.

Except maybe urine.
