This has happened before. The amok nanny state does not have McPhee after its name.

Tomorrow, every kid in every public school in America should go up to a teacher and, making no physical gesture at all, say, "I'm thinking about a gun."
The mammoth "stupid" meltdown would distract us.

Join the National Digital Gun Association before all our rights are pfffftt.

Scoff if you like, but fingers can be dangerous. I pulled one once and it went off. I'm OK now, but it was touch and go for a while.

I like Steve's idea. Fight stupidity by having all the students make a finger gun at the same time. Would they all be suspended? And what if it was only a finger water gun! Or a finger starter's pistol? Sheesh.

What other appendage should he have used ?

Actually, I was trying to see if there was any validity to the "Thought Police" concept.
Bet there is.
