That concert was the beginnings of the long process of learning to play the Strat upsidedown.

I was at that concert and took this video on my manual typewriter

velvet worm - silk worms' cousins from the other side of the tracks.

"Saigon. Sh*t, I'm still in Saigon. And I'm still a velvet worm."

Another reason I didn't want to go there.

I defy any of my fellow geezers to read the words, "precious bodily fluids" and NOT think of Dr. Strangelove.

She wore glooooo velvet.
