Germany drops its longest word: Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz

I put that word in front of my wife, a native German speaker, and she rattled it off like nothin'.

Without even looking, I am going to guess it is either a kind of cheese or sausage.

Beef testing -- close enough!

Those uppity, spoil sport hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliaphobics are always ruining everyone else's fun.

So we cannot trust German beef anymore because they abolished the Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz?

They've had a few too many of those beers made with soi-disant pure water.
