Cambridge jelly wrestling 'tradition' is no more

Typical. No jelly wresting at Cambridge but over at Oxford they still have the tradition of burning a £50 ($100) note (bill?) in the face of a tramp (hobo) to join their most exclusive club.

I don't know why I provided the American translation except it pretty hard to believe in English as it is...

I have friends who call that foreplay.

I saw the Jelly Wrestlers warming up for Madonna in '86. Helluva show.

Is the marmalade free-for-all still on?

I'm guessing you could look through the folio of English literature and never see the words " anti-jelly " and " vitriol " used together again.
