Police dog accidentally fires gun hidden in Lawrence snowbank Saturday morning

It sounds like someone is trying to get put on desk duty until Spring.

I'm not sure that answering phones is a good use for a police dog, but it's worth a try.

If you take guns away from dogs....

Sounds like he's not been putting his time in at the firing range. How can you miss at that distance?

Has the dog been offered counseling?

"It ... it all happened so fast! He turned, and I saw the biscuit, and I just ... I just fired!"

"And what did you do then?"

"Well, you know, I bit him a little. He tasty."

The only thing that can stop a bad dog with a gun is a good dog with a gun.
