In my experience, women don't "get enough sleep" because they're up late complaining to an exhausted but patient and long-suffering man. Of course the sample size of this survey is rather small (n=1), but I'm confident of the accuracy of the results. Also, in my experience, men don't wake up grumpier than women because that way lies hours and hours and hours of further complaints. Men can manage, though - we've got caffeine in the morning and the booze at night.

But women even things out by going to bed angry and snarling. At certain times. But we are not allowed to say that.

My first wife got up before me and made breakfast. I noticed that she did stomp around a lot. The smell of bacon and eggs woke me up. My second wife I don't remember if she ever got up. She was grumpy all day.
My Current wife gets up when I do. She is grumpy in the morning, but is nice to me after that. I feel like I won the lottery.
My policy is to only have one wife at a time.
