ATTENTION, SCIENCE-FAIR PARTICIPANTS

Analogue televisions can be transformed into solar-powered DEATH RAYS that will burn anything in its path at 2,000F

(Thanks to The Amazing Steve, who says, "Wonder if they'll let you take this on an airplane now that they've changed the rules?")

My 80 year old aunt in Georgia had one of these. A few years ago the family bought her a new TV and took the old one to the edge of the woods so they could take it to the dump later that week. The next morning they all were awakened to the sound of gunshots. My aunt was out in the woods shooting the old TV. She said it was to get the radiation out of it. She was ahead of her time. She was also my hero. btw,she didn't have Alzheimers she just liked to shoot at stuff.

She was clearly an honorary guy.

I think I found my son's science fair project.

I suspect DEATH RAYS will soon be outlawed. But if it could stun...........

Didn't Solar Powered Death Ray open for Death Cab for Cutie? And have they signed with Sun Records yet?

It's just a large magnifying glass, people! Nothing to see here, move along...

Now playing: Black Hole Sun...
