Plus, for guys, not only does it leave no place for the critters to hide, but trimming the grass makes the tree look bigger.

Body lice are the ones that spread dangerous disease. And they tend to hide in clothes. Perhaps it is time to start cutting down on their habitat?

You should just go ahead and hold the concert. If the crab louse issue is resolved without the benefit's money, I'm sure you can find some other equally worthy cause to donate it to.
