A plan to give carbon credits for slaughtering camels, curbing emissions coming from their flatulence, was rejected by an Australian government committee.

Makes sense. If the principle stood, they'd have to include politicians too, and they'd never vote for that.

Rejected because it was too sensible?

There's always a problem with new regulations in getting over the hump.
