IN FLORIDA, THIS IS HOW DRIVE-IN RESTAURANTS NORMALLY WORK

Lincoln police say a man crashed his car through the front door of a pizza restaurant before ordering a pie for himself.  The man drove his Honda through a Valentino's chain store Wednesday morning. While trapped in his car, the man ordered a pizza.

As long as he wasn't texting, I don't see where there is a problem.

incredibly?

Shoddy reporting - what kind of pizza did he order?

Just took out the door. Good aim.

I wonder if alcohol was involved.

'Hello, Valentino's Pizza'

"i'd like Honda pizza"

"You'd like to order a pizza?"

'yes, Honda pizza'

"Ok, what would you like on da pizza?"

"yes, i want Honda pizza!"

"Right, ON da pizza...what do you want ON da pizza?"

'YES! I WANT HONDA PIZZA!!!'

I haven't heard a pizza called a "pie" since the '50s.

I think I heard it back in the 80s. We were in an Inn in Ireland, and this little hospital catering manager schmuck from Jersey was telling a story about somebody he knew. Seems this guy had a heart attack, and the next thing you know "he was out of the hospital and he's ordering a pizza pie!"

That phrase and the accent that went with it has stuck with me for 30 years.
