"Drive with caution, stay quiet, police say"
Good advice in general.

It is against the law to hunt or shoot a turkey...the birds are protected...can only trap and relocate them one kilometre away
Who are the turkeys? Why should I care? Make Dinner, Not Fear.

We regularly see turkeys in the yard and they haven't caused any problems at all.
Well, there was the time late in the Spring when I looked out the kitchen window and saw a Mama with six little fuzzballs running around her feet.
A cuteness overload was threatened.

You know in suburban Boston, Massachusetts marauding turkeys are attacking police officers and causing citizens to cower in fear, weeping, while clutching their threatened children (sort of like little human turkey shields).

They don't sound as pesky as geese. I was attacked by one on a golf course. I stood my ground and pushed him away with a six iron. (Probably should have used a 5).
